The art is an acquired taste... Is it for me? Absolutely not. Doesn't trigger any of my funny bones. (Maybe a shiver of cold...;) ) But I can understand that people like it. It looks like a over saturated version off Quitely's style... That's fine. His run on X-men I also didn't care about... That said, although its not my taste, I agree with lagozzino... The basics are there. Anatomy is mostly correct. everything is in proportion. (You cant say that about some artists I won't mention...) Not a fan of the 'one thickness' line work, but that's also a style choice. The overall style isn't for me... But respect the people who does like it. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Just don't rip on people who does like it....

Todd Nauk annoys me

IKR, he's obviously a very talented artist but something about his artwork kind of annoys me too

Always found his work a bit wonky and slightly out of proportion... Never been a big fan. but on the other hand, I don't have much against it.

It looks brilliant. Time travel isn't a turn off for me. Especially when its done well. By the way... everything Sean Gordon Murphy draws will be good enough even if the story is crap. Which I don't expect on this one. Mark Millar is a great writer. Chrononauts is destined to be brilliant.

Don't care for the art on the first and second sequential page... but the third one.... That's what I'm talking about. :D

I'm okay with the character, but I'm not into that art style.... Hopefully she stays around after secret wars.

@ralfvdh: Cuz comic books are serious business...

:) You have no idea... ;) I just prefer a more realistic style of storytelling and art like Amazing Spider-man is at the moment. The whole cartoon style of comicbook making isn't for me, but appreciate it for existing. Only in these case of Squirrelgirl I don't like the style at all... That new Skottie Young book looks great for example.
I'm more a Olivier Coipel or Stuart Immonen guy. I love that stuff. At the moment I mostly read and buy European books... Mostly what comes out of France. But for these two (Coipel and Immonen) or, not to forget, Sean Gordon Murphy I'll make an exception ...:) So, by all means, love Squirrel Girl. I hope it will be a success. It just never going to reach my pull list. MKX neither by the way. :P

hmm... the only one looking any good is the Hulk one... MKX looks terrible... and Squirrel girl speaks for itself. It looks like a cartoon network reject. Dont like only silly humor in comics. But thats me. I'm more for humor in more serious books. Its what I used to like in Spider-man books.
