WOW. This preview came out early! I am ready for more. Glad to see it looks like Smallwood is back in the roster. Anyone else remember Lupinar from the old classic series?

What happened to Smallwood? Is he still on this title?

Great issue. A real mind screw that puts you into Marc's head from D.I.D. POV. I hope they are not making Khonshu a villian... Still well done where it's going though, because everything is still open for interpretation which I always liked about this title.

@goellterator:

I lol'd at that comment. Good work sir!

It seems we have a longer arc here than we anticipated...On the other hand, are we just getting a taste of how Marc Spector perceives the world, in not really knowing what is real? That would also seem to jive with Lermire's original interviews in his approach to the series.

Also, what happened to Smallwood, is he still on this title? I'm really digging his work on this series.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info!

Why such a big Defenders push? Are they planning a big relaunch of that title?

Such a surreal series, I really look forward to it every month!

Why is Matt Murdock on a variant cover?? Is that a hint that Moon Knight will appear in the Defenders Netflix series?? Or am I reading too much in to it?

You're reading too much into it unfortunately. Marvel just picks a theme for variant covers and runs with it even if it makes no sense for the individual series. Most of the Death of X variants had no connection whatsoever to the series they were on, and that goes double for last month's Black Panther themed variants.

lol

Ah that's what I figured. Although it seems strange out of all the other titles to cross promote they choose that one, but I guess it's a strange marketing ploy to begin with.

This book is awesome, its like Mr Robot meets Marvel. Huge Moon Knight fan and I always will be. Keep his Mr Knight persona and his latest Moon Knight costume, all ninja like.

It's true. When I watch Mr. Robot (great show) it reminds me so much of Moon Knight. I hope they handle a movie/TV show of Moonie in that way (fingers crossed).

I'm betting her death was just Moon Knight's hallucinations. Or something relating Secret Wars. Anyway I adore her, but she needs further development.

That's what I'm thinking, the Secret Wars/ANAD reboot brought her back?

Really enjoying Moon Knight's return to a longer plot arc, although I did love the one-shots this story has me hooked. I hope this team stays on for a long time to come.
