Afrah Narotam

No Caption Provided

Height: 5'9"

Age: 28

Weight: 150 lbs

Hair Color: Raven

Eye Color: Chocolate Brown

Species: Human

Birthplace: New Delhi, India

Gender: Female

Relationship Status: Single

Occupation: Spy

Family: Unknown Father, Ameenah Narotam (Mother)

--A vehicle specialist whose keen mind and resourcefulness see her adapt to nearly any situation regardless of terrain. Tall and blessed with features of singular beauty, Afrah is muscled to the lean and athletic proportions of an Olympic gymnast. Her raven hair is long and dark, and smooth like silk, and her eyes are even darker still. Like dark tunnels whose depth seems meant to mesmerize and hypnotize than see, her eyes are sharp and predatory, even from behind the lenses of her glasses. Her gaze is scrutinizing and telling of an analytical mind, and she conducts herself earnestly, with an almost pathological professionalism--

-Skills & Abilities-

While a well-rounded vehicles specialist, Afrah has always held a passion for motorbikes. Firstly, her passion for motorcycling has seen her become a supremely talented rider of all manner of motorbikes. A versatile rider known for her alarming adaptation in the heat of any situation no matter the road conditions or state of her bike, Afrah is a strategic and tactical rider whose emphasis is greatly placed on riding intelligently and being assertive in her decision-making, and often times she is flawless in executing those decisions.

Stylistically, she tends to hang her leg out during hard turns as opposed to using the knee-down style in getting around corners. Furthermore, she gets her entire upper body far off her motorbike on the inside, then increasing her lean angle further when close to the inside edge of the road on a turn, allowing her outside elbow to come up while her inside elbow lowers onto the road surface. Additionally, Afrah relies on smooth, non-upsetting ways of moving around the bike during cornering. Her lean at the inside edge of roads during turns limits the overwork of the tire edges and it speeds up the turning. She also brings her motorbike up suddenly, releasing the extra traction needed for early acceleration.

-Apparel & Equipment-

Though her attire seems like little more than a bodysuit, it is made of a unique nano-material five times stronger than high-grade steel. This nano-material, during testing, was subjected to impacts from steel projectiles traveling at velocities around 1.5 km/s, withstanding impacts of up to 250 tons per square centimeter. The equivalent of which is dropping four diesel locomotives onto an area the size of a human fingernail. Key to the nano-material's composition were inorganic nano-structures. Compounds such as WS2, MoS2, TiS2, and NbS2 which all ordinarily occur as large flat plaletes were synthesized into significantly smaller nano-spheres and nano-tubes, inorganic fullerene-esque nano-structures.

Fullerenes are a form of carbon, not unlike diamond and graphite. However, they're molecules made up entirely of carbon, taking the form of either a hollow sphere, ellipsoid, or tube. These spheres (buckyballs), and their cylindrical counterparts are known as nanotubes. With a specialized fullerene-like material reliant on other inorganic materials, Afrah's armor doesn't suffer from the drawbacks of organic fullerenes' high toxicity, flammability, and chemical instability. The armor's inorganic fullerene material is made from tungsten disulfide. Her nano-armored apparel grants her extraordinary durability and toughness. Lastly, Afrah is armed with a pair of specialized sniper rifles.

The first of the rifles relies on a semiautomatic fire mode. It makes use of a powerful electrostatic discharge to fire a very powerful bolt of electricity/plasma and a built-in scope to maximize accuracy for very long-ranged shots. The rate of fire however, is low. The second version however, holds a reservoir of ferrofluid, magnetically drawn into the firing chamber and expelled at lethal velocities. Mimicking a high-pressure water jet, the propelled ferrofluid cuts through nearly any physical material and boasts a penetration rate of over 100 cm.

Julia Baars

Height: 5'11"

Age: 31

Weight: 164 lbs

Hair Color: Mahogany Brown

Eye Color: Hazel

Species: Mutant

Birthplace: Delft, Netherlands

Gender: Female

Relationship Status: Single

Occupation: Spy, Psychologist

Family: Volly Baars (Father), Gösta Pechtold Baars (Mother)

--Elegantly tall and casting a presence of great regality and poise, Julia is a woman of predatory calm. Blessed with a calculating mind and a siren's facial features, Julia is thin at the waist and wide at the hips, her frame sculpted to the fantasies of every man, and her mind designed to the standards of a genius. Witty and manipulative, self-assured and highly intelligent, she wields her intellectual advantage over others as a weapon in social situations, manipulating and drawing desired reactions with her words alone--

-Skills & Abilities-

Primarily, Julia understands that people, whether they have a conscience or not, are different. That some favor the ease of inertia while others are dreamers with wild ambitions. That some people are brilliant and talented, while others are dimwitted and dull. That some people are violent, others nonviolent. It is this understanding and her ability to read and observe an individual's behavioral tics and construct a psychological profile for them that allows her to manipulate them according to the vulnerabilities of their most prominent psychological tendencies. Violent individuals can be goaded, drawn in by the promise of carnage, provoked into recklessness.

Geniuses with ambitious minds can be lured in and duped by promises of great opportunities for intellectual revolutions. Julia has the talent and skill for manipulation. The talent to play on an individual's gullibility, to play on a person's moral obligations, and to whip up other people's hatred and sense of deprivation. Furthermore, Julia is a mutant. And her muscle synergies are extraordinary. They serve as a combination of body movements from the kinematic and kinetic parameters that create intended physical actions which are achieved when sequential components of the same movement, or the movement of several body parts or limbs are combined in a precisely timed and harmonious way in relation to the intended goal.

Julia's highly developed motor coordination is due to muscle synergies which act as a neural strategy for simplifying the control of multiple degrees of freedom. By working together at their rate of efficiency, these synergies grant the Dutchwoman phenomenal balance, equilibrium and control over her movements, as well as incredibly quick reflexes, even by superhuman standards. Additionally, Julia can enhance her physical attributes by somehow pumping blood throughout her body at a much faster pace, exhausting her body's stored energy and increasing her heart rate to levels impossible for ordinary humans, but it grants her a considerable boost in speed, explosiveness and strength.

However, her veins can only endure these demands for a limited amount of time. Though for that brief amount of time, her muscles receive enough blood that she is able to accomplish things thought otherwise impossible. Abusing this ability however, drains her of her stamina and prolonged use reduces her lifespan.

-Apparel & Equipment-

Julia's form of apparel is a fedora and a dress whose fabric is forged from a thin and durable armored nano-material with a regenerative feature allowing it to repair itself from any sustained tear. It enhances her durability while acting as a lightweight and stylish form of attire. Always in her possession however, is a powerful handgun capable of exceptional accuracy even during moments of rapid fire. Codenamed the 'Baroness', it is a semi-automatic, recoil-operated, magazine-fed, large-bore handgun with a 3.5 rounds per second rate of fire.

Because the handgun is semi-automatic, it cocks itself after every shot due to recoil and will continue to do so with every trigger pull until the magazine is empty. Additionally, the Baroness also makes use of the short recoil principle in that it uses the force of the recoil to eject the spent casing, chamber another cartridge, and re-cock the weapon so that it may be fired again. Before the first round can be fired however, a round must be chambered, which is accomplished by inserting a loaded magazine into the grip of the weapon, and then pulling the slide back completely and allowing it to slingshot forward, taking a round from the top of the magazine and carrying it into the chamber.

To reload, the empty magazine must be removed with the magazine release button located on the grip and a fresh magazine inserted. Once the fresh magazine is inserted, the slide is allowed to return to its normal position by the operator. There is no need to re-cock the weapon. Cocking is only necessary when chambering the first round when bringing the weapon out of 'safe' mode - safety on, uncocked, and unloaded. The Baroness is a large handgun, having an overall length of 26.7 cm and possesses a rifled barrel, improving accuracy by spinning the bullet. It is issued in a hard chrome finish color and operates like most contemporary pistols. It has rear sights but it does not have a forward sight blade, which is replaced by the smart-link scope.

It uses 12.7x40mm semi-armor-piercing high explosive magnum loads. These rounds have a jacket of copper or cupro-nickel around the projectile while the projectile itself is hollow and filled with an explosive compound and a delayed-detonation impact fuse. When the round impacts a target, the jacket will initially help the projectile maintain its shape, allowing it to travel into the target before detonating almost immediately after impact, causing massive tissue damage and system shock.
