i love cable now and even back in new mutants, the adventures of cyclops and phoenix as well as askani son...  
of course i found out about all this after the animated series, which made me absolutely love him and loathe bishop. 

however i think the bulk of the dislike of cable comes from his complex storyline and his less action packed series going on now... 
i like to think of him now as poppa cable, which is fine with me.

im glad all three of us can agree on new york :) 
stan lee is one of the many great things to come out of here.

I don't buy that. He has implants to let him be hooked up to a computer but they have no physical function in the "real" world. Inside the Martix he isn't a cyborg he just has more "knowledge" of the program. "

this scares me greatly. however, i feel censorship may not be a big deal when it comes to films. reason being that disney owns miramax and they still continue to release movies that are for mature audiences (pulp fiction and many quentin tarantino films) in fact i think they will release better films for marvel. on the other hand, if they do decide to keep a strong grip on comic releases, which im hoping and thinking they wont, we may see some very "kid sensitive" material. i do believe that disney is looking for an adult audience and i hope thats what they use this deal for. it has been mentioned that the history of the characters will stay the same though, so thats just a tiny plus.
 
As for cartoons well i dont think the amount of limititations and rules that are already on them will change...im pretty happy to see a fox free marvel though.

im a cloverfield fan but godzilla would swallow him man. lol.

agreed. his story would do better in the marvel universe.
