Metal Gear Solid 1 was released in 1998 and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be released later this year. With that being said, just take a moment and imagine what games will be like 17 years from now...

What do you imagine video games will be like in 2032?

I really loved the idea of the different types of mother boxes what with making the one (I forget who owned it) into a knife.

Does anyone else think they should change the combat to require more skill? I think there should be more focus on martial arts and in depth combat.

I think they should use combat from games like GoW or Mortal Combat; meaning that one would have to master multiple combos and defense techniques in order to win. Maybe have the next game feature the League of Shadows? That way the player would have more oppurtunity to fight against skilled foes. Rather than fighting rooms of 50 useless thugs, you'd ifght a room of 3-6 extremely skilled opponents.

Just a thought. Anyone agree?

This planet-buster phrase I keep seeing in a battle thread I've been reading and I'm curious as to whether or not all planets in comics are assumed to be earth-sized unless otherwise specified.

As it stands, planetbuster just sounds kind of funny to me. It's like if someone said, "Johnny is tough! I know because he beat up a fighter the other day!" That sentence really doesn't tell me anything. Johnny could have beaten up a 13 year old beginner or Jon Jones for all we know. But based on comic logic Johnny is now a fighterbuster lol.
