Personal Young Justice League Avengers

This is pure personal indulgence.

What would my team lineup look like if I was asked to write a Young Justice/Avengers-type book in a DC-Marvel composite universe?

As much as possible, I attempted to mirror my Personal Justice League Avenger's list. I decided include five DC and two Marvel heroes, as Marvel just has less junior/young versions of their heroes.

For my DC selections, I tried to pick variations on iconic Justice League heroes. The line up reboots semi-frequently, and tends to pull from the same small set of characters.

For my Marvel selections, I tried to pick variations on popular Avengers members. The Avengers roster seems like its always in flux, and I can't think of one iconic lineup.

  • Wonder Woman analog

    The first Wonder Girl after Diana.

  • Martian Manhunter analog

  • Batwoman analog

    Cassandra Cain doesn't really feel like an actual human being, and I don't know really know Betty Kane or Stephanie Brown very well.

  • Green Lantern analog

    Alan Scott is a Green Lantern!

  • Flash analog

    Her origin and powers may be slighlty different, but she's held the title of Flash, abet briefly.

  • Captain Marvel analog

    Sure, she has a completely different origin and power set. However, she did pick up Captain Marvel's old mantle: Ms Marvel.

  • Spider-Man slot

    He started out his career as a teenager - and that's the version I'd work with.
