@poeticwarrior: Tats definitely isn't slow, though her 'fight' with Saitama took place well before Sonic's fight with FF- which is to say, he was not at that level when Tats performed that feat, and we know PS outspeeds FF by a significant margin.

This isn't me saying Tats is slow by any means (she definitely isn't), but don't want people getting the wrong idea. PS is definitely faster than Tats and might put up a fight but no way is he winning this. Tat's doesn't need pinpoint accuracy to damage PS (she can gravity crush the whole area) and her shields are too strong.

Just out of curiosity, how long do you think between the two fights? I feel like it's literally one after the other since the only interlude in between is just King asking to be trained but no one could improve him who already surpassed all the heroes in the series. The next scene is basically just an aftermath showing what other S class heroes are deciding to do after the MA battle which led to Flashy Flash meeting with Saitama and his encounter with Sonic. With all the internal monologue about how they need to train and get stronger since their current strength isn't sufficient, I just do not feel like that much time had passed. I reckon it would only be a few days or maybe a week or two if we are pushing it. Tatsumaki was still heavily injured, I couldn't see Atomic Samurai or Flashy Flash waiting for too long to make their decision to train more or for Flash to meet up with Saitama. It's hard to say how much time had passed for Sonic to train in between. I would assume he would need time to recover from the injuries as well, so it couldn't just straight up training. Overall, I just do not see too big of a jump for Sonic between Tatsumaki' fight with Saitama and Sonic and Flashy Flash' fight. With that being said, Sonic is the one people tend to sleep on the most since he kept getting beaten by Saitama despite how powerful he is.

We both agree that Tatsumaki would win. I just do not understand the slow Tatsumaki mentality people seem to have in regard to her, but of course it is not about you. As long as you can see that she is not slow, that's the important thing. Her actual speed would not my point of contention due to subjectivity of it.

@greythejiren: You mean a normal woman who always had her esper power on? Story or logistic wise, it is always the case with her because she is always guarded. She has been speedblitz after heavily injured in ONE version but she still her her shield on. She always float with an aura using her telepath, she was floating and tanking a surprise attack from Psykos. Suddenly, her auto-shield went away despite it is being used for passive defense and floating? A woman who is always on guard who is constantly floating using her power suddenly lost her power from the supposed speedblitz. All we saw in the Murata’s version is Flashyflash’s upper limit. We have never seen how fast Tatsumaki is so for people to say she is slow (She is a speedster jack of all trade, actually).

There is absolutely zero evidence that she is slow or that she could even be speedblitz, so all we have to go is by comparison, and there are plenty of evidence that no, she would not. We know that Pri-Pri-Prisoner is fast enough to not get speedblitz from a surprise attack, who could put up an armor while defending other heroes. We know Metal Bat could keep up with attack and speed from Garou. The attacks themselves were uncoordinated, but if they were both going all out, their speed has to be comparatively fast enough to create a combo, especially with Centipede’s instantaneous recovery, we know about how she is comparatively as fast as Flashy Flash in ONE’s comic, we know she is faster than continental beam’s speed at least to react and deflect while holding and protecting Genos. We know her combat speed is pretty powerful since she created a clone to fight Psykos, throwing islands at Psykos while strategically locating Psykos’ true body. She is the second rank, and you’re telling me that an auto-shield constantly floating guarded Tatsumaki who we have absolutely zero evidence or indication of her speed, will get statued by PS who could not even speedblitz the lowest S-rank member in a surprise attack?

Comicvine is a funny place where new chapter will somehow lower the feats of existing power just because of a shinier thing is around.

Let’s be honest here, even without all these evidences, do you truly believe deep down that if Murata drew the fight between Platinum Sperm and Tatsumaki, the fight will end in a microsecond because Tatsumaki would get statued? This is even within the same universe. This is even just going by your gut feelings. How do you think the author intended? Even if you ignored the comparisons in both ONE and Murata as well as comparative evidence, I do not think they would ever intended for Tatsumaki to be that weak or slow. All we know is that centuries ago, One said Tatsumaki could beat Golden Sperm, Murata said Golden Sperm and Orochi are comparative, Psykos+Orochi+God’s power would get destroyed by Tatsumaki if she didn’t have to worry about the hostage, as evident when she literally froze Psykos in one place right away and she could twist and one shot her whenever, it is more about how she would have practically kill the hostage and the S class heroes if she did that. I just do not see how someone who was one-shot and couldn’t react to a sleeping Garou, at the speed during King’s battle, could one shot Tatsumaki to the point where she couldn’t react.

For Tatsumaki to have no shield or floating would mean that it wouldn’t be Tatsumaki. Blast put a curse on her after all, “no one will save you”. She is constantly on guard and auto-shield even if she is dying or unconscious like even seen in ONE’s old version. While not directly related, we can make more evidence that no, there is no chance for her to be speedblitz (especially with her durability) as opposed to how she would which is Zero.

Can you give me evidences that she would? I feel like even in-universe logic, it just wouldn’t happen, even looking at author’s intention, it just wouldn’t happen, even if you look at comparative evidences, it leans more toward her being fast enough to not get speedblitz (ignoring how she is Flashy Flash speed in ONE’s comic), even if Tatsumaki is not as fast (despite no evidence of her upper limit). Even if she did hit before she could react, she wouldn’t be hurt just as she wouldn’t be hurt from a surprised continental attack speed at point blank. Yes, she probably maybe at a normal durability, but in what scenario would she ever chooses to put down her shield at any point? For her, it is almost a way to keep people away and close herself in, if we do an in-character battler. Is there a benefit in taking about her normal durability in this case which we have almost nothing to go on and illogical that goes against the character?

I just don’t see a scenario where a fresh guarded Tatsumaki would ever get speedblitz, even if she couldn’t react, the shield is very constant. It is just too much mental juggling for it to happen, personally.

If you truly believe that PS could ever do something like that, then I’ll just chart it up to agree to disagree. I don’t think there is much I could say since you would have to throw away a lot of comparative evidences in both comics as well as intentions and in-universe reasonings.

Personally, while the Murata’s version has more impressive feats, I have seen him maintaining power level status quo pretty evenly and hadn’t really gone against established comparative power. We just see more impressive feats based on which character who got the spotlight, which is more of an exaggeration of the feats from the original such as Natural Evil Water being an Ocean while being destroyed by Saitama (since it wouldn’t be impressive otherwise with the current power level or how Platinum needed an upgrade from Golden Sperm to have a good fight against Garou. If he is still on Orochi level, it wouldn’t be a feat for Garou). This is just an aside from me, not part of the argument, of course.

Sperm one shots before she thinks about using her shields.

Cause Sperm will definitely one shot someone who is on Flashy Flash speed level (when she could easily keep up with Sonic who is as fast as Flashy Flash( and multi-continental durability?

Is PS stronger than Orochi?

If so speedblitz works

If not he gets wiped

It's not just orochi, it's Orochi+Psykos+enhancement by God.

No, he has nothing on Tatsumaki.

Speedblitz is not possible for him.

Sonic and Flashy Flash are on the same level, and she has no issue keeping up with Sonic at all.

People need to get it out of their head that Tatsumaki is slow, it just makes them look stupid. We have consistent panel after panel after panel showing how quick she is in general, especially when her shield is auto and consistently airborne. These advantages are not easy to overcome. Her shield has been shown to be auto, especially when she's unconscious or being blitzed after being heavily injured in the ONE comic as well.

Where is proof that she's slow in the first place anyway? Their lalaland.

The thing is, Sperm blitzes

and does absolutely no damage since he doesn't have the AP to even graze tats shields

Statues can't make no shields

Except the shield is auto. sigh...

Based on? Tatsumaki react and defeat Sonic who is as fast as Flashy Flash who could keep up with Platinum Sperm.

Isn't Muzan also getting weaker and weaker since Tamayo's medication also aging him by 50 years per minute as well as cellular destruction so the longer the fight, the weaker Muzan get?
