Pretty Mind-Rot
Fun, silly comics that really have no value other then pure fluff. But are still good reads if you don't overdose on the sweetness of it all.
Not quite an overdose, but still a little fluff. Although the cover will be enough from being written off as a girly-girl. Of course, they may think you're into almost-naked women instead...
Kinda like if the Jubilee series had been a little darker, but still a series aimed toward females. And I love the appearance of X-23.
This series doesn't seem to have any point other then leading up to New X-Men II, however it's a nice read and I loved how they reintroduced all the origonal New Mutants.
1) I love the cover. It in no way relates to the story, but it's beautiful. I love Nori.
2) Rahne is one of my faveorite characters. I love how they give a brief backstory for those who didn't know it.
3) Not such a fan of Laurie, but it's still a good explination of what she goes through and explains why she's such an introvert for those who came in late.
Don't let the cover fool you; it is very much fluff. Yes, there's a fight and yes, there is Scott grandstanding to make a point but the majority of the issue is about how the current members of X-Factor interact with those on Untopia. Oh, and Shatterstar and Lognshot gets some action - no, not with each other. Eww!
