"it's actually forcing your fans to spend more per month, so don't expect me to jump for joy over that."
If you truly liked the stories then this shouldn't bother you. Id happily pay double to get more Eternal Warrior. If you're just collecting for the hell of it, then just don't by it, it's that simple. There is no "forcing".
Yeah, but what if you like the story but can't afford to buy two issues of it a month? That is sort of forcing you to either hand over the money or just leave it alone.
It feels like every decision DC makes anymore distances them more and more from my tastes. I guess I'm not who they're aiming for anymore. Still, I'll at least try it out to see if there is any of the old JL to it. If not, oh well.
Wasn't D-Man brainwashed into attacking Captain America and subsequently killed? (Or is this one of SW's miracle rebirths?)
Unless I missed something, you're spot on. At the end of Brubaker's run we saw all of what you said and nothing ever altered those events so either Marvel did something in a book I haven't read or they just threw it out the window.
