Oh, Bachalo. Sometimes I love, sometimes I can't understand what the heck you are trying to draw. I'm definitely getting this!

Concept doesn't interest me, art does nothing to nudge me to pick up an issue just to try it out, and that redesign of the enchantress is the final nail in the coffin to me.

I really want to give it a chance. I think the cover art needs to match the interior art - what looked stylistic on the cover looks very sloppy inside. LOL Enchantress is slumming it hanging out with these guys, but she has a lot of bodyguards now so snaps to that.

I've always found the most elegant handling of Bruce's origin being that Bruce never heard of his parents' killer again. There's something epic about the idea that the Wayne were killed by a nameless, faceless criminal in Gotham and that Bruce was never able to find out exactly who did the deed. Maybe Bruce has, in fact, imprisoned his parents' killer without even realizing it.

I agree. The inability to put a name to the person that killed his parents could be seen as the motivation toward a life of being a masked vigilante who would constantly hunt down criminals to send to prison, because he wouldn't know if he ever found that killer.

He was alot better then the other guy who played quicksilver in AOU.

Kind of a shame, because Aaron Taylor-Johnson did pretty well in other roles. I think the treatment of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver was largely uninspired, and while I was happy they were in the movie, they didn't get any lines or particularly clever uses of their powers. Evan Peters simply had more to do, a more solid script (despite technically having more characters to juggle than AOU), and a breakout scene. AOU Quicksilver really didn't get a chance to shine.

What I really like is how the actress has actual muscles, that you see in certain poses. She's not a bodybuilder, but neither is she the typical waifish model hired for these roles. I do think this show is having a slight issue with pacing. Maybe they are worried that if they don't up the ante quickly the audience will lose interest. Regardless, I don't really have a problem with Supergirl getting pwned a few times by super villains before going into more advanced training.

I don't like this team - there are too many young and inexperienced members for them to be Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and it seems very underpowered. There are quite a few semi-developed Avengers reservists who I'd love to see on an Avengers lineup (Monica Rambeau, anyone?).

I really like the new Thor. I'm a Thor fan, but this is the first time I've been consistently buying the book. I even like the cancer backstory - it calls back to Thor's first alter ago. But I never thought they devalued Odinson to make way for Jane - it seemed to me that her fight against her illness revealed a nobility to her character that made her more worthy to wield Mjolnir than he was, which is a nice idea in and of itself.

I always liked the idea of Ben being able to transform into the Thing. Maybe not at will...perhaps the transformation keeps him locked in one or the other form for an inconvenient time period. That is all.

Lol so the writing in the previous run was absolute trash but no one talked about that because the art was pretty...now we see the art with no words and people are flipping out. Sigh, I hate people.

I definitely talked about how the writing was crap, so you can put me in the hater column. The artwork was nice, but I didn't like the use of the repeated panels gimmick.
