Personally, there is too much current stuff on this list.

One of my personal favorite Aquaman stories / arcs? The two limited series that used the camo-blue aqua suit. A completely different type of Aquaman story that sorta expanded out the mythology.

If you haven't read these two limited series, you need to search em out.

That suit never made sense to me. "I wear this blue suit for camouflage." Except once you get several hundred feet down, the sun's rays don't penetrate and it effectively becomes black. With no light source, you can't see squat. So if you want camouflage, just wear black.

What Peter David did is hit and miss. He did a lot of bull&hit nonsense... made Mera a psycho, Dolphin a whore, handicapped Aquaman, and left a mess that none of the following writers could fix.

They didn't need to fix it. Because it all worked: sales were fantastic. Instead they undid it and sales immediately plummeted. So maybe it was less bull&hit nonsense and more exactly what the character needed. Oh, and by the way: Mera wasn't psychotic, Dolphin wasn't a whore, and Aquaman was hardly handicapped.

Much thanks for the kind words.

Of course, I like the headline. Stories you "need to read." Which is relatively easy with the other ones since I'm reasonably sure they've all been collected into trade paperback. With the exception of "Time and Tide" (long out of print, of course) DC never collected any of my Aquaman work. Not even "Atlantis Chronicles" which DC higher ups so loved that they told me they were going to give it the "Watchman" treatment. So that was nice.
