I like Dragonspine's design and origin (especially use of an established name as an alter ego). Frisch I like the idea of knowing more about the planetary system that Krypton is part of, and knowing that Krypton may not have been as Utopian as people might think. God Killer looks like an evil Apha Centurian, yet I feel like there should be a good solid reason for him to hate Superman, since what you have here sounds like Jealosy which is different. What if instead he was from Zandia a nation run by villains right and during a battle Superman was involved in on those very shores he accidentally kills one of Juan's parents (giving him the motivation to go after superman). Armiv2 I like the look of your character so you say his powers have a short range, yet the ones he has seem pretty good, seems like Gamut is one foe you would try to take out before he could bring his powers into play, is he an alien? If so which planet is he from? Kryptonex with his powers and looks it seems he could be a hero also, and can he control which power/s he gives another person/animal?

I know that the voting stopped on this, yet I'd love to see colored versions of both designs.

Hope to have one or both of these on deviant art and if so I'd put them both as part of the Amalgams Assembled group.

This is a good one, like Blitzaga's concept and Egods work is stunning as usual. I love Mrfuzzynutz design as well.

Wow some great entries on here I liked the designs by Mrfuzzynutz very cool. Since the teams are from Marvel and DC these could be considered Traditional Amalgams, which is cool. I'd like to call attention to the fact that on another website (Deviant Art) there is a group called Amalgams Assembled that looks for Amalgam art on the website and shows it off even more. I would like to encourage people posting in this contest to take a look at Deviant art, and the Amalgams Assembled group on the site. As a cofounder of the group I'd accept all the art displayed here into the group.

Now in comics Mystique was Kurt's mother do you plan to make that true here? I like what you have done here, and think you should continue, and I eco Arinya's post in that I'd love to see a story with these characters.

Armiv2 your Doomsupes you have here might be a bit rough but it's still cool. I do want to reach out to all of the other people on this post thought that are deviant art members (payno, FrischDVH, EGoD) to submit your entries to this and past Amalgam Contests to the Amalgams Assembled group on Deviant art, and I will as the cofounder of the group make sure they get put in the right gallery folder. The group is expanding, yet I want it to be filled with good art work.

I'm sorry to keep harping in on these contests, yet over at Deviant Art I'm the cofounder of a group called Amalgams Assembled, and I would accept all entries from this and prior contests into that group. This group could use some more art to put up and if any of the artists posting on here or any prior Amalgams contest is on Deviant Art I encourage you to send in the art you have to the group, as it's just another way to get your art noticed, which is really what artists want right?
