I write this thread to bring to your attention things that need to happen. I know you work really hard, and I respect that. This is not a criticism. It is just a way to enlighten you to what is actually going on.

1. The R-word

This is a serious issue to say the least. It is offensive, and is literally AGAINST THE RULES, yet I have never seen anybody banned or even criticized for using the word.

In the rules

Yet it is still used constantly. In fact I have seen it used several times over the past week. (I am not going to reveal who it is because I do not want to embarrass them.

Please mods. STOP THIS. It is, as I have said multiple times before, stop this.

2. Trolling

Trolling is literally one of the biggest problems on Comicvine, and guess what? It is also against the rules

Nobody has gotten banned because of this in the last couple of years at least. I know that you guys have said that it is impossible to know who is trolling and who is unironically serious these days, but I disagree. There is a certain point where you should know people are trolling. If somebody watches MCU movies and comes out saying "cAr lEveL thOr", then they are trolling. Simple as that.

3. Ban political threads that will lead to homophobidiots saying stupid things

For example: (https://comicvine.gamespot.com/forums/off-topic-5/would-you-be-more-okay-with-your-child-being-gay-o-2225911/)

This is some of the shit that people are saying.

It is literally against the rules to comment on other people's sexualities, or genders.

In Conclusion

I think that Comicvine would be a much better place if we just fixed some of these problems. Either this, or make people who actually care about these things mods.

@lilbroomstick: You are not helping dude. Are you aware that the person you are calling "king" has used the homophobic F word, has used the N word, spams porn, and uses the R word?

@heiqn: Yeah. Luckily nobody died, but many people were left in critical condition and/or mentally scarred (like me). I was ~15 feet away from the bullets, and was pulled to cover from my friend. Luckily I was able to quickly call 911, and the threat was nullified before anything worse could happen. This was a bit over a year ago, but it is still on the top of my mind.

My real name may or may not be Westley. I want to be an engineer or astrophysicist after college, or write a novel, I am an aspiring anti-gun activist, and an aspiring Gay rights activist. In my free time, I do math, blacksmith, and draw. I am an American, but I want to move to the UK when I am older after I studied astronomy and astrophysics at University of Cambridge 2 years ago. I have many accounts used for different things on this site. I am notoriously known for my old 2nd main account (GoldenEagle), but my main one shall remain a mystery. My online pet peeves include unfair moderators, hypocritical debaters, and anybody who is anti equality.
