It's just a land-dweller's fantasy 2

I don't know too much about Namor. Now it looks like I'm going to have to looking into more of the stuff he's in.   Another book in the "Curse of the Mutants" arc, it shows that even underwater vampires exist. Namor and other Atlantian warriors are in search for the head of Dracula hidden somewhere in the depths. Little do they know, a trap is about to be sprung.  Namor is probably one of the most interesting characters I have come across since I have been really paying attention to comics. Not ...

Twilight References Abound 1

Not really "abound", but there I counted 3. Way too many to deal with.  This one-shot pits Storm and Gambit against an army of vampires. While the book adds more to the " Curse of the Mutants" story, it does nothing more. The art was a bit goofy to me and the writing wasn't something to be marveled. I was really looking forward to this one but sadly I got a "little above average" book that I would say could be easily forgotten.  Then again the Vampire craze has reached a fever pitch so I would...

I love vampires. Vampires in the classic sense. A vampire for me is defined in the 1931 film " Dracula". With these X-Men comics my mind has been expanded to an extent that I can accept the great changes this run is making. While the pacing as been at a great speed, there hasn't been too much going on in the action category. I would say that the run is at the point of trying to flesh out how the character are taking this vampire "invasion". I am hoping issue 3 will bring a lot more vampire hunti...

"No amount of bleach could erase that stink" 1

In a world where vampires sparkle and are conflicted with love, it was nice to see that X-Men #1: Curse of the Mutants brought vampires into a refreshing new light. Going into this I had no idea about a vampire story. I'm fairly new to actually buying comics so I didn't read into anything about this particular issue.
