Tom King presented some good ideas in his Batman run. I liked a couple of the story arcs e.g. I Am Bane, The War of Jokes and Riddles and court room arc, but a lot of the time the execution and dialogue was poor e.g. there's a lot of repetitive dialogue where Batman said about Bane "I'm gonna break your damn back!", Bruce and Selina constantly referred to themselves as Bat Cat for around 80+ issues.
King was deconstructing Batman to show how "flawed and human" he was, but in doing so he ignored most of the Batmfaily, made it seem as if Cat was his world and he wouldn't be happy without her, how Bruce can't be Batman if he's happy and for a period of time abandoned Gotham to be with her.
@dcandmarvelcomicfan: Hmmm, I know Titanium man & Fin Fang Foom are some of IM's more enduring enemies, but there's a few I like more that I would have listed but didn't mention e.g. Spymaster, Controller and Count Nefaria
