The only thing I can think of would be what I've already stated. Uhh...I guess there's Dyspo's thing of being able to increase his speed thousands of times over instantly. Hit was able to make up and surpass the speed difference through adaptation (or Pure Progress as some media call it. The closest thing would be rage boosts tbh. Buu saga SSJ2 Vegeta went from SSJ2 level to surpassing SSJ3 Goku after Beerus slaps Bulma. I don't think I have to explain how big of a leap that is lol (More than quadruple in multipliers).
Even with the scan that you're using, it implies that currently the gate is on the verge of collapse. Not that it has already disappeared. The reason you can faintly see them is because Blast could not get them far enough from Earth in time before the gate collapses, so he attempts to redirect the energy it before that happens.
Fair on Dyspo thing, its about what i was asking for, i forgot about that. What was that technique called, did others have it too? I see rage boosts as overall stat boosts rather than burst speed only though.
There is no implication of the gate being in the process of a collapse there, it is just "the gate..." and visually the gate is gone there. Gate is that circle that came from the ground to teleport them. And like i said the gate is not even a sphere that can hold the blast and the reason they stopped near earth is the gate (which was trasporting them) is gone. I thought gate was keeping the energy in the past before thinking about it, but correct interpretation should be "blast uses the gate on earth to take them away, saitama and garou clash mid-teleportation, the gate gets destroyed by the explosion inside so teleportation is incomplete and they stop on earths orbit and blast is sent flying away, then blast starts containing the energy until his buddies get there."
