The game looks incredible for me! I can't wait to play it. I love the close-up camera angle and the melee looks a lot better. Will pick it up as soon as I've watched the film!

Definitely possible. I've been giving this my best shot since I was about 16. I'm 22 now, and I'm on issue 365 on Amazing. (300th anniversary issue). It started off really well with just one issue a month, but now there's Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man and Web of Spider-Man all running simultaneously it's a nightmare to keep it going. Some stories cross over, some don't. Little bit of a pain in the ass.

I started this thread a while ago to outline what I was doing - obviously it was really popular... From the very beginning...

I torrent my comics books in order to read them easily, drm-free and quickly on my iPad. I have software called ComicBookLover which makes it easy to store, organise and sift-through comic books.

It's definitely worth saying though that my digital collection is an almost exact replica of my physical collection, which are in boxes in my study. (Save for some of the 60s Amazing Spider-Man issues) My local comic shop has a select service, so I go in there every month, spend about £70 and then just store them. Girlfriend doesn't see the logic in this, but for me it's more about having the comic book, bagged and boarded, than it is about reading it. I much prefer the reading experience of a digital comic on my iPad. While this may technically be in line with copyright-law, I'm morally okay with it.

(I also spend far too much money trying to get back issues on eBay)

Don't waste an hour on origin and I'll be happy. Everyone knows where he got his powers.

Why pirate comics??  There are TONS of reasons. I personally love comics but prefer to read them on my iPad. Now here are my choices... Marvel has cut me out of their unlimited program, which I gladly would pay for. All other companies offer comics about 6 months to a year behind (Batman is still dead if you read DC comics on their iPad app...)  So what do I do??? I pirate comics.  Sad but true. Offer me a legit way to do the same thing I can do online for free and I will pay. But don't expect digital customers that prefer to read online to wait around months to read the same comics or to be ready to deal with that crappy Comixology app that crashes non stop.  Reading comics legit in the digital age is harder than reading them illegally, and the fact that companies seem to not give two shits about the digital market in my opinion means that they deserve to lose money to piracy if they are too naive to adapt.
I agree with this to an extent. The two big comic companies are falling behind and are more often than not their biggest enemy.

Big Marvel fan but I'm kinda new to DC. I've never really followed any of the ongoing titles. I've only read a lot of the classic Green Lantern stories, like Emerald Twilight, Emerald Dawn, Zero Hour etc, but I've never read continuously. While I'm working my way through the 90s Green Lantern series at the moment, I'm going to pick up GL #1 in September, probably along with Batman #1 and Superman #1 for my brother. All good jumping on points I hope!

It was an epic game tonight! Steelers got off to a slow start but tried to pull it back, Packers did a great job in the end despite a whole bunch of injuries! Well done Green Bay!

It's the big one tonight everyone! Who else is watching?
I live in the UK, so got a huge group of mates coming round for some beers, pizza and NFL! Any other Super Bowl parties happening?
Absolutely love to see the Packers kill the Steelers! Even if they did stop my Giants from reaching the play offs!
Who you rooting for?
