The trench coat and the fingerless gauntlet remind me more of Gambit while the hover disc looks like he stole from the Static Shock cartoon. To quote Joker from Mass Effect "That's really just my opinion there's no need to go spreading it around."

Yeah I'm African American and I miss pre New 52. However I do love the show and hopefully he'll stay true to great cast of characters we already have and not stick out like a sore thumb. I do agree with some people not agree with the "forever" part. It just takes one writer or crisis to change things again. Maybe the West family we be another ethnicity in the future. I loved original Wally West character he was the Flash when I started collecting the comic. I loved the way handled him the Justice League cartoon and even more so in Young Justice. His race doesn't define who he was it was part of him. But now he's just not who remember.

Although not as good as the IDW version I like how the Archie comics version veered off slightly from what they were in the cartoon. Heck that whole series veered away from the cartoon(in a good way) after the first few issues.

Thumbs up from looks fine for tv show. Look close to what the overall structure and color of the costume used in reality instead of animation. The actress looks fine. Never seen her perform but she has a cute look in the first pic. The second shows of more confidence. She looks strong but she shouldn't be Wonder Woman in height or build and she's not perfect in that aspect.

Great battle choice. I would love to see John go against a powerful hero, that is also a former marine. Blue Marvel.

Thanks for making me feel my age. I actually like it. Flash's admiration for Spider-Man lead him to finally lead him on to path to be the hero he is know. I can't see him getting rid of the spider symbol because of that. Also everybody says he looks like Spawn well how about Spawn looks like the Prowler. Having a completely original look is next to impossible nowadays.

I will give it Shredder based on his fighting skills. Being a ninja in the modern world I'm sure there are some tech that Saki is familiar with that Bruce would use. Even in the DCU Batman is not the world's greatest martial artist. Given prep yes he could definitely beat Shredder I don't argue but in a random encounter not so much. Just about every serious version of the Shredder I've seen in comics and cartoons has proven to be a well accomplished fighter(the IDW version is no slouch). Both combatants can dish and take a lot physical punishment. Also staying in character Batman isn't know for using lethal force Shredder on other hand has no qualms about killing an unfamiliar opponent.
