Namor wins and he’s never really “struggled” with Luke Cage. There’s context with all of their fights. I went into it with great detail on another thread with that OneWhoKnowsNothing guy, but unfortunately this website blows and it’s hard to follow without the scans saving properly.

@kasya_carey: Yeah I get it. Reading is hard. I can summarize it for you. Iron Man’s repulsors are described as particle beams or plasma, not electrical. War Machine KO’ing Storm with a taser is still valid. Jupiter is a gaseous planet and has no density, so measuring its weight is questionable. Storm used the atmospheric pressure of the planet; not its overall weight. I already provided evidence that being inside of Jupiter’s atmosphere is the equivalent of 160K cars piled on top of you which isn’t anything that Thor should even notice, let alone struggle with. Nuclear explosions alone are far above that level of pressure.

@mage101: As far as I can see, no scan in this thread has even used the word “shared”. I did. Pulling up definitions for a word I used doesn’t really prove anything.

The point with Absorbing Man seems to be lost on you. He absorbs power or matter and it doesn’t get divided. When he absorbs power from Mjolnir, does the hammer get weaker or have “less Uru”? That right there is an example of comic book characters taking or “sharing” power, but it doesn’t diminish or devolve into fractions. It actually multiplies which makes no logical or mathematical sense. Same thing applies with Amazo or the Super Adaptoid. They just gain their copied energy without taking it away or subtracting it from the original user. Even with Rogue, how does it make sense that she drains power from Ms. Marvel so often that Rogue’s base stats become equal to hers? Without even dividing that clearly shared power?

Well it’s a cropped out of context scan. Kwannon and Betsy Braddock switched bodies/souls and then merged bodies through their minds; like I think it’s a bit more complicated than all of this. People present this like her powers were stolen away from her or something. I see no mention in handbook entries or comic book scans confirming that Psylocke’s telepathic power was weakened or “half” of what it was. People are just baselessly assuming that. In fact the one handbook entry I did find, said in detail, “Matsu'o Tsurayaba saw a chance to save his brain-dead lover, Kwannon, and had Spiral swap their souls. This inadvertently blended their minds, leaving each with the same memories and telepathic powers.” Notice how it says “the SAME telepathic powers” but no mention that Psylocke was weakened or the power was divided. It then goes on to say that Matsuo, when he kissed Psylocke and transferred some telepathic energy, only seemed to simply restore a piece of her soul while extracting Kwannon’s from Psylocke’s mind. “Learning she had the Legacy Virus, Revanche had Matsu'o kill her, after which Betsy regained her soul's missing piece.” I’m sure there’s more I could find and dig up, but the burden of proof is on you guys not me. This is clearly far more complicated than just “half her power was stolen and she was telepathically weaker”. Based on what? Real world logic and math problems applied to comic books?

@blackspidey2099: Uh huh sure. Run along to go coordinate with your little discord group and make another bait thread that I don’t even look at. “Ehhhrrrmm, you sir, have been Le Trolled 🤓☝️”

@mage101: I assumed everyone knew that logic, fractions, and division aren’t always an exact science when it comes to fictional books written for children, but thanks, Merriam Webster. You’re right, I did use a word that has definitions referencing math terms. Guilty. Anyways still wondering if anybody’s gonna post proof that Psylocke’s telepathic abilities were weakened. When Absorbing Man touches and attains the abilities of the quantum bands, Mjolnir, or even Sentry does anybody imply or baselessly assume that he’s “divided” their power since they “shared” it? When Rogue permanently kept the powers of Ms. Marvel and Wonder Man after “sharing” them, I must have missed the part where grade school math problems automatically applied to their power level. I guess we need to re-examine all feats from power copying/sharing characters.

@blackspidey2099: Your attempt to bait me is so obvious I’m getting second hand embarrassment. I know you resent me for spanking you all those times years ago, but it’s time to move on and get over it instead of doubling down in your wank. Spider-Man has never even dealt with absolute zero temperatures before. Cope and seethe.

@kasya_carey: Because you have ulterior motives. You don’t actually know or care if his repulsors are “electrical” but are purposefully misrepresenting and twisting vague/out of context words from the handbook entry to suit your needs. That’s called being dishonest. I can tell you as someone that’s read far more Iron Man than your comprehension level allows for, his repulsor rays are not electrical in nature. Tony has described his repulsors as “reactionless force projection — one way push” and in another handbook entry they describe the repulsor ray as “powerful particle beams that can consist of a stream of charged neutrons or heated plasma”. In another story, the narration says “in these two hands are the most powerful particle beam emission units ever conceived in the mind of man”. They are not electrical. They are lasers. You are biased because you WANT the repulsors to be electrical so you can say the War Machine taser instance is inconsistent. However, even if they were electrical, Iron Man can adjust the level of yield he emits in his repulsors. It’s not like they are always at full power. When Iron Man blasted what he thought was Ho Yinsen, a weak old man, I highly doubt he blasted at him with a full-powered repulsor. So even saying “Storm tanked an electrical repulsor ray which is stronger than War Machine’s taser” does not work because it’s extremely unlikely that he’d even be blasting at lethal intensity due to his morals. Looks like even when you misrepresent feats it still doesn’t work. Keep coping that War Machine humiliated her with a taser lmao.

First of all, Jupiter is a gas giant planet. Jupiter being able to “engulf” multiple Earths just means they can fit inside because of its greater mass. It may have the highest mass in the solar system, but it does not have the highest density. Jupiter is mostly helium and hydrogen, but a planet like Earth or Mercury actually contains metals/rocks so they are far denser. Measuring the weight of Jupiter isn’t really reliable due to its gaseous nature. Second of all, Storm literally says that she uses the “atmospheric pressure” of a planet on Thor. Not the weight. She’s never even used the “weight” of a planet with her powers before and it wouldn’t even make sense or have anything to do with her powers if she did. She’s not freaking Graviton. Although the narration does say Thor “felt all the crushing weight of a far-off world on his back”, it’s clearly referring to the atmospheric pressure weight which is, like that website said, the equivalent of 160,000 cars piled on top of him. It’s an anti-feat feat for Thor. Especially since he’s stood inside stars without an issue.

@rajjarsalt: Literally didn’t disprove anything I said. Iron Man chokes her out and there’s nothing she can do about it.
