What they stand for means nothing and their willpower is sheer ignorance, they say they're vegetarian because they don't want to kill life forms, and plants are not? Plants provide us with oxygen, they breath like we do to, they live as we do too! the whole "I'm proud of being Vegetarian" is a piece of smelly SH!T!!"

Two reasons; Moral, and environmental. Moral; Factory Farms have become the norm (I'm not going to go into the kind of treatment that animals have to endure in these places- if your interested just google it.) Environmental; The amount of resources it takes to produce a pound of meat is astounding, I'll take a look and post the numbers.

Well if your thinking about living the lifestyle my advice is to start slow, give up red meat, then when your ready give up something else. Cold turkey almost always results in falling off the wagon. I tried for two years before it stuck.
