Superhero Inspired "Ready-To-Wear" Collection- NY Fashion Week

Sometimes things can look really good on paper, but not so sexy on the runway- on an actual person. During New York Fashion Week last week fashion designer Jeremy Scott premiered his new fashion line- and it's really terrible. The focus for his new line is definitely clear, but perhaps he should have hired on some cos-players as consultants for his line. Had he some convention attendee/cosplayer professionals on board, the line could have been better executed.

This "Ready-To-Wear" collection looks ready to throw into the nearest trash can, not to wear. Ever. Not even to Comic-Con.

Bottom line: plastic doesn't look good on most people, I don't care how skinny you are.

These kinds of outfits look good on fuller models in my stylistics opinion. I like picture's three skirt! Negasonic Teenage Warhead would be awesome in 5!

The only comic book related fashion appareal I will wear this year is my trenchcoat.

Bottom line this looks terrible and I will wear my t-shirts thank you very much.

Whenever there's superhero-inspired fashion it's always drawing from the easiest possible inspiration and it always comes out pitifully. Why do they never look more in depth? There are so many head dresses, cloaks, and costumes that are awesome and would be very inspiring.

I really like the short black number with the yellow lighting bolt. All the rest of the women ones are alright and the guys plastic suits are awful.

Also I dont care what anybody says, those girls are all beautiful.
