Hot Toys Ironman Starboost review

Hi guys, this is my review on the Hot Toys Starboost Ironman.

No Caption Provided

The Starboost Ironman is certainly a stellar figure with an awesome design. I like the mixture of white, black and gold paint to give Ironman an astronaut look. The design of the figure is very good. I like the design of the jetpack and the protrusions on the sides of the forearms. The vents on the back of the legs looks cool, too. Like the other house party suits, he comes with a pair of repulsor hands and articulated fingers. These can be used to get Ironman some some cool flying poses or poses of Ironman using repulsor blasts. In conclusion, I think the Starboost is an awesome Hot Toy which feels great in hand.

Starboost is available for purchase on Sideshow right now. Even though Hot Toys are expensive, I recommend buying the Starboost because of the level of detail and articulations. Check out my full review in these videoes.

NW268's Transformer review of the week: Masterpiece Smokescreen

Hi guys, this week, I did a video review on Masterpiece Smokescreen. He is part of Takara Tomy's Transformers Masterpiece line. Smokescreen is a faithful representation of his appearance in the G1 cartoon.

Transformers Masterpiece toys are faithful representations of G1 characters as they appeared in the G1 cartoon. Masterpieces are given extra detail to appeal to modern Transformers fans. They often have fantastic engineering for complex transformations and great articulation.

Smokscreen is a cool figure. I originally bought this toy as Masterpiece Prowl and Smokescreen retains everything which made Prowl a great figure. I like the car door wings and the shoulder cannons he has. I also like the red blue and white paint job on Smokescreen. While the large feet sometimes bother me and he is an 80 figure, I feel the added details and the streamlined look of this figure still make it worthy of being a Masterpiece toy. Definitely a good buy for fans of Smokescreen or Transformers.

NW268's Transformer review of the week: RID deluxe Optimus Prime

Hi guys, check out my review of the RiD 2015 deluxe Optimus Prime. It's part of the new RID cartoon set to premirere this year. I was lucky to find this figure at my local Targrt.

RID Optimus Prime is a fantastic figure. He looks very cool in robot mode. I love the v shaped window on his chest. He's got big legs, big shoulder pads and he looks very impressive overall. He's got decent articulation. He's got articulation joints everywhere you want them except his arms can't go in and out unless they're at his sides.

The transfornation feels relatively easy but its intiuitve enough to make it interesting. In vehicle mode, Prime looks very sleek but he has an overall bulk to it so he looks like a long truck. The V-shaped window looks very cool in truck mode. The cab looks very futuristic like Animated Optimus Prime.

Overall, Optimus looks very cool in both modes and is snap to transform. Check out my full review here:

Re: "Awesome Toy Picks: HT Spiderman" My own review of the figure (youtube)

I told myself I wasn't going to review the Amazing Spiderman figure for while but after seeing Gman's review of it, I wanted to try my hand at it. Here's a brief summary of my review

He's a great figure even for a 200+ toy. I didn't like the accessories alll that well. It's was the main figure I was interested in. The second Amazing Spiderman movie costume was very accurate to the comic costume. So, this figure can work as the movie Spiderman or the comic Spiderman. I did not share G-man's concern about the hands or arms breaking off. My figure feels very solid in those areas. Because this is a true type body with a single cloth costume sewn all over it, it retains almost all of its human like articulation. Again, this is a great figure and you're definitely getting one of the best Spiderman figures ever for 200+.

my Youtube Transformers Combiners Wars wave 1 review

Hi guys. As I hope you know, I started doing video reviews of Transformers on youtube. This week, I decided to do a review of all the Combiners we got in wave 1 of Combiner Wars. These are great figures and they're based on the Transformers in IDW's upcoming comic book, Combiner Wars. You'll see my reviews below. Please watch them, like, subscribe, and comment. I've spent quite a bit of time on each video so I hope to get a couple comments at least

There's two parts to this review. I keep my vid under 15 mins so they're easy to trim on my phone but you can find part 2 on my channel

This is also a 2 part but again, you can find part 2 on my channel

Here's something I'd like to note. Look at this picture of Superion from TFW2005.

And here is a picture of Superion drawn by my friend, Livio. His art will be featured on IDW's cover for Combiner Wars. He will also do art inside the comic. The toy looks very accurate to the comic
