I saw this one in person in a Walgreens parking lot.

2 gang members got in a fight .

First guy was a solid brick of roid muscle, 6’6” and built like a mountain.

Second guy was much smaller like 5’8” maybe 150, but he pulled a .38 revolver (I think it was a 38, not a gun guy.) shot the bigger guy 6 times in the chest and stomach.

Huge guy just looked at him, looked at himself, reached up and broke the skinny guy’s neck action movie style and then got in his car and calmly drove to the ER.

Admittedly the Hospital was only like 1/4 mile away.

Ryan Reynolds but more accurately he is only good at playing himself.

RDJ - he just adjusts how manic he is.

Nick Cage - everything is the same

A producer has no authority to add in fact that weren’t there.

Even statements from writers and directors should be ignored as far as exact numbers in science goes, they don’t have the scientific background to specify.

If the writer of a movie states that character x has high level super speed. Ok, fine that works.

If they try to put a number on it that is out of their league of knowledge to justify them no.

If the writer then says that character X could circle the globe in 1 second but all is shown is that the character works hard to keep up with a missile, the. That is just them BSing a number that sounds cool.

Certain genres are absolutely rife with hyperbolic statements that people take as mathematical facts.

This is why if I ever see someone use the word “scales” and then starts spouting numbers I just consider them a moron and ignore them.

That would be a huge list... it would take me a long time to narrow it down.

Wouldn’t matter, I am hideous no matter what.

Hair means nothing, being bald does not impact your health.

Anyone out there who would pick being fat over being bald needs to see a professional.

Many ladies out there like bald men, it is a nonissue.

I don’t really care about the actual topic but it is kind of hard to keep track of who is whose alt in here.

@eslay03:

That is the point, either you don’t read much, like at all, and you don’t even watch television if you actually think that Harry Potter of all people would even be in the discussion of all fictional characters who have had a horrible life.

He is not even in the top 5 of people in his own book series for having a horrible life

I dismiss and insult your opinion because it is outright stupid.

Currently it might be the fact that in a discussion of who has had the worst life in all of fiction that multiple people have thought it was Harry Potter...

@sufferedtoker:

My issue is are we talking about Darth Vader, like in episodes 4 -6. As a character itself because it is played by the same person, or are we talking his whole life in the movies from birth to death but played by different actors?

Are we looking at a performance or a character?

It is not the same as comparing to Joker, while Vader was portrayed by different actors at different ages, he is still the same person, but Joker is completely different in every movie. As a matter of fact there has never been but one appearance of Joker in any of the film universes.

Heath Ledger did an amazing job that surprised most fans. Most people thought he would do ok at best but he hit it out of the park.

Darth Vader from the OT is a menacing, evil figure that had an entire empire terrified of him and for good reason. However in the end, turned to the dark side or not, he is still a father who upon seeing his own son about to fall the same way he did redeemed himself as he died, and balanced the force for the first time in years. Amazing plot arc.

Then the sequels happened.

As a kid he seemed whiny and annoying, who was written to be blindingly lucky beyond all reason and the acting was crap.

As a teen he was even more whiny and just seemed like someone I would not even want o be in the same room with.

As a young adult he was manipulated, although to be honest I give credit to the writing for palpatine in those movies, he was good.

Essentially Vader was an icon and totally amazing. Anakin was an annoying punk that by the end I didn’t even care that he was manipulated into being evil.

Then the sequels happened and Rey just got handed the ability to force heal, which was the carrot that lured Anakin, all with almost no effort. Used to seem like force heal was a light side thing but very rare and unique and force lightning was all Sith. However they threw it to Rey who didn’t even know about them, and she gets credit for rebalancing the force too, although she earned nothing. It just kind of made Vader, his life, his dedication, his faith and his sacrifice to balance the force amount to almost nothing. Wow, chosen one to balance the force, for about 40 years... good job I guess.

The prequels and sequels undermined the quality of Vader to the point that if they are included, Joker is better.

If it is Vader, and only while he is portrayed as shown, by his original actor. He could win.
