Jerome Young used to be a bounty hunter before he became a wrestler. He claims to have 4 justifiable homicides. He then trained for wrestling under Ray Candy and started his wrestling career in USWA and SMW. He got the inspiration for his ring name New Jack from the movie New Jack City. In SMW, New Jack would form the tag team The Gangstas with Mustafa Saed. The tag team was considered very controversial and the NAACP would picket outside of the areanas they wrestled in claiming that the team was promoting gang violence. New Jack's nickname: The Original Gangsta Name: Jerome Young Height: 6 ft Weight: 240 lbs Entrance Music: Natural Born Killaz by Dr Dre and Ice Cube New Jack and Mustafa eventually moved to ECW, where they would win the ECW Tag Team titles 2 before Mustafa left the company. New Jack made another tag team, The Ganstanators, with John Kronus, who he would win another Tag Team title with. New Jack is famous for his feuds with Da Baldies. During this feud he was nail gunned in the eye with his own nail gun by The Spanish Angel. He went off the air for a few months but returned okay with no loss in vision. He would continue the feud with Da Baldies. On March 12, 2000, New jack suffered brain damage and temporarily lost vision in his right eye in what would be called the Danbury Fall. He was facing Vic Grimes, and they both fell off a 15 ft scaffold, missed the tables they were supposed to hit and hit the concrete, with Vic Grimes landing on New Jack's head. Later on, in a rematch in the XPW brand, New Jack threw Grimes off the scaffolding purposely too hard, so Grimes would miss the tables that would break his fall. He hoped that Grimes would hit the turnbuckle and be injured or killed, but Grimes landed on the ropes and dislocated his ankle. New Jack takes the blame for the Danbury fall and claims that he pull Grimes down too early. New Jack was also involved in the Mass Transit Incident. A 17 year old named Eric Kulas, told Paul Heyman, owner of ECW, that he was 19 and trained in wrestling by Killer Kowalski. He was supposed to be in a match with someone he knew, but was put into the match The Gangstas vs. D-Von Dudley and Axl Rotten. Axl didn't show up due to family problems so Paul Heyman stuck Kulas into the match, seeing as it was supposed to be a one sided victory for the Gangstas anyway. Kulas asked New Jack backstage to cut him open because he didn't know how to do it himself. During the match, New Jack would cut open Kulas as planned but very deep. Kulas found himself beat with toasters, crutches, and chairs. After the match, EMT's were called in to take care of Kulas. Kulas would try to sue New Jack and ECW, but New Jack was acquitted and jury decided in favor of ECW. When ECW went bankrupt in 2001, New Jack moved to various shows. He eventually retired from wrestling, but it considered an ECW legend for his hardcore and bloody style. Wrestling Style: Every match, New Jack brings a trashcan full of weapons to the ring. It always has New Jack's guitar and a bit of barbed wire. The rest of the weapons vary from street signs and canoe paddles, to cookie sheets and almost anything else. He also has a nail gun on a chain around his neck, but sometimes instead of the nail gun he uses a scythe. One of his signature moves is smashing a guitar over his opponents head. He usually performs his suicide splash off really high things onto a table. The 187 is a diving elbow, with a weapon such as a chair or a trash can lid held under his elbow. He is ruthless and constantly uses weapons in his weapons. Signature Moves: Death Valley Driver Suicide Splash 187 This account is a tribute to New jack's awesomeness.
