@buttersdaman000: First off, let me apologize. I posted that, at the end of my work day, and i was being hangry. I cannot/will not deny the faults of the MCU...those just go without saying. But, they have created more of a 'comic book' universe than the DCCU (that's what I've decided to call it). I just feel, that when I watch a Marvel production, be it TV, bonus feature or film, its simply another issue in the long running MCU series.
That being said, the DCCU is only beginning...and its a very exciting prospect. But my problem is on a personal level. Besides Rider, my favorite hero is Flash...more specifically, Barry Allen. You know, the tortured, strong silent type. The TV show has totally denied me that character. They made Wally, which is great...but, they named him Barry. I get it, a forensic specialist is exciting, and why nor make him a more sardonic character? I'm probably just being silly.
Another issue i have is Diana Prince working, in any capacity, for Lex Luthor. She would rather eat Lex, than work for him, simply out of principle.
This, IMO, plays into the tone...at least, it does for me. However, my rant aside, I am looking forward to both universes unfold. Its a great time for cinema, and comic book fans. Think of all of the hardcore comic fans that never got to even see Raimi's Spider Man...we are all very lucky to live in this era, and be young.
