Real Name: Monica Sharr
Current Alias: Nemesis
Class: Super-Villain and occasional Anti-Hero
Alignment: Evil with neutral leanings. Although Nemesis is a Super-Villain, she never kills someone if it’s not necessary. She also goes by her own twisted code of honor and so long as her promises fits within that code, she will always keep her word. However, if someone has not earned her respect, then she will lie to them if she feels it’s necessary. At rare times, Nemesis will go against her nature and save lives, but only when it benefits herself or her company.

POWERS & ABILITIES
Enhanced Senses: Nemesis possesses a superior sensory arrangement of microscopic, telescopic, infrared, radar, targeting, night optics and ultraviolet visual capabilities. She is also able to see the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Microscopic, chemical, x-ray, auditory, ultrasonic, magnetic, photonic, etc. She can also hear various sounds from hundreds of miles away.
Flight: Nemesis is able to generate, and manipulate, her own graviton particles to defy the forces of gravity and achieve flight at Hypersonic speeds. This ranges from hovering to moving in any posture, in any direction.
Laser Blast: Nemesis can, as a conscious act, fire beams of lasers from her eyes at a target by looking at it. She can vary the intensity and area affected.
Nemesis: Like her namesake, Nemesis can fight any opponent and once she has analyzed them, she is able to develop a super power, ability or counter measure in order to defeat, or kill, her enemy. (i.e. Chrysonite blasts to hurt Superion just to name an example).
Nigh-Invulnerability: Nemesis’s body, both her oragnic and her mechanical parts, is nigh-invulnerable due to nanotechnology making her body superhumanly dense down to the cellular level as well as her radiating a bio-electrical aura. She can produce a suit of cyber armor made of small, microscopic, nanites that covers her body and is nearly indestructible yet still very agile. As a Cyborg, Nemesis can adapt to the rigors of space by not needing oxygen to breathe. She does, however, still need at least a minimal amount of nutrients and sleep thanks to her organic parts.
The few bones that Nemesis still possesses is reinforced with molybdenum-steel and their durability is further enhanced through nanotechnology to almost equal true Adamantium.
Self-Repair & Regeneration: Ordinarily, Nemesis heals as quickly as a human but with concentration she can command nanites that run throughout her body to quickly repair any injuries she sustains. These nanites can also repair her cybnetic parts as well and also make her immune to any known disease, toxin and harmful substances known to man. These nanites also enable Nemesis to fight at peak exertion for at least an entire day before showing signs of fatigue.
- : In the unlikely event that Nemesis dies, the nanotechnology that she uses will revive her. If necessary, the nanites in her body will rebuild any destroyed body part weather it's cybernetic or her organic half. This also includes her head as well as her brain. Although this makes Nemesis extremely difficult to kill, it is not impossible.
Super-Speed: Nemesis is fast, capable of running faster than sound, catching bullets and reacting at super-human speed to threats or situations.
Super Strength: The exact limits of Nemesis's strength is unknown, but she has been shown to be a match for some of the strongest beings on the planet, including the hero of Metro City known as Paragon.
Techno-Morphing: Nemesis can create, shape and manipulate technology and technological constructs, computers, robots, hardware and other devices that can be termed as "technology". Manifested as a special form of electrical/telekinetic manipulation, a special form of "morphing" which allows physical interaction with machines, or even a psychic ability that allows mental interface with computer data.
Nemesis can control the flow of intricate machinery and can allow her to assemble or disengage their programming at will. She can operate most technology just by touching or looking. A variation on Electricity Manipulation, Nemesis controls specific electrons and instructs them which items to engage or disengage. She has such fine tuned control that she can use the electric impulses to gently control smaller metal parts.
Unlike most techno-paths, Nemesis does not just command technology, she can also incorporate them into herself and any nearby technology becomes an extension of herself. She can take any machine and, once it is a part of her, she can transform it into anything her mind can imagine. Among other abilities, Nemesis can animate machines, construct any technological device, control any mechanical system and change the shape of the mechanical components of her “bodies”, most frequently changing one or both of her hands into various energy weapons.
Because of her complete mastery over technology, Nemesis is completely immune to EMP styled attacks and cannot be de-powered in that method because of the shielding she has built for herself.
Using her mastery of technology, Nemesis often emits a powerful bio-reading as her human alter ego of Monica Sharr in order to fool sensors, super powers, scanners and even mystical abilities into registering her as nothing more than an ordinary human, which also extends to any attempt at detecting if she has any cybernetic parts. This is so effective that not even metal detectors will pick up anything unusual, enabling Monica to pass by undetected.
Even a simple DNA sample that is taken from her will reveal nothing of her true nature since all Nemesis has to do is take out all of the nanotech in her blood in any given area on her body. And thus, the needle will get nothing more than a pure, very human, sample of her DNA.
Because of her criminal activity as Nemesis, Monica has programmed the nanites in her blood to automatically self-destruct in a harmless emplosion whenever blood leaves her body in any manner, shape or form. This makes it impossible to identity who the blood belongs to and it cannot be cloned because it is rendered utterly useless.
Nanite Manipulation: The power to manipulate tiny, microscopic robotic metal machines. This power allows Nemesis to build, destroy or create technology. She also has limited control over organic tissue, but she is currently exploring her capabilities in that area. It is theorized Nemesis can do far more than what is mentioned with her ability to manipulate nanotechnology, but she hasn't learned those additional abilities yet.
WEAKNESSES & LIMITATIONS
High-Pitched Noises: Because of her super hearing, Nemesis's ears are extra-sensitive to extreme noises.
Lead: Nemesis cannot see through lead with her X-ray Vision.
Magic: Nemesis is as vulnerable to magic as any regular human.
SKILLS & OTHER ABILITIES
Genius Level Intellect: Monica has shown enhanced intelligence and computational abilities; her mind works sharply and with extreme speed. Her analytic powers are impressive, as is her perfect computer-like memory. She is even able to use her senses to read information directly from machines or invent fantastic technology.
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Nemesis is an excellent hand-to-hand fighter utilizing a fighting style that directly complements her super powers. Monica's combat versatility allows her to adapt to almost any foe and beat them.
Business/Finance: Due to her father's lessons, Monica is a very shrewd businesswoman and she knows how to make money. Give her a dollar, she'll turn it into a hundred dollars, give her a thousand and she'll turn it into a million.
As the CEO of SharrCorp, Monica has access to the very best technology money can buy and if she does not have it, she can invent it and sometimes right on the spot thanks to her cybernetic abilities.
Monica Sharr was once a very shy, innocent and private person who liked to keep to herself. And she likely would have kept this persona if she hadn’t suffered through her accident that would later come to define the person she would transform into later in life.
Monica grew up as a spoiled rich brat to Lionel and Hilary Sharr and after her mother died during child birth, Mr. Sharr was left to raise a daughter all on his own. Lionel did not know the first thing on how to raise a child, but he did know how to run a business and as Monica grew up, that is what he taught her.
When it was time, Monica went to private school for rich kids and she hated every second of it. She made very few friends while there even as the bullies loved taking advantage of her. But Monica toughed it out and excelled despite the difficulties. Soon, she graduated with honors and she was only 17 years old. As much as Monica’s achievements made her out to be a genius, her father never once expressed how proud he was of her, much to her chagrin.
And then one night, Monica’s life would be changed forever when a time traveling Paragon accidentally set off a lab explosion that would utterly ruin Monica’s body. Over half her face, head and neck were burned beyond recognition. Monica lost her entire right arm and most of her left leg. Part of her up right torso also suffered significant damage. It was a miracle she was even alive after the explosion.
Lionel Sharr worked tirelessly to save his daughter’s life and he practically forced a team of scientists to construct, and in some cases invent, technology that would save her life. In the end, it worked and Monica awoke to a whole new life and it would never be the same again. Much of her face, head, right arm, left leg and upper right torso was replaced with the cybernetic equivalent. Half of Monica's brain was also replaced by a Cybernetic half, giving her perfect computer-like memory.
Horrified at what she had become, Monica lashed out and attacked the scientists. None of them stood a chance against her as Lionel’s creation finally stood before him. Monica had no words for the rage that coursed through what was left of her body. She almost killed Lionel on the spot right there, but she had bigger fish to fry. Instead, she fled and never looked back.
Nemesis planned her revenge on the hero that ruined her life and for the next few years, she hatched a mad plot to destroy Paragon. And despite carefully laid plans, killing Paragon’s sidekick and nearly trashing her rep, Nemesis had failed and was sent to prison. But no prison could hold Nemesis and she easily escaped.
Once Nemesis regained her freedom, she went about planning another scheme to destroy Paragon but then she stopped and thought about her dear old father. And then she thought of a better idea. One night, the prodigal daughter paid a visit to her father one last time. When the meeting was over, Lionel was dead on the street and Nemesis made it look like suicide. Using her mastery of technology, she even altered Lionel’s will so that his company would go to her upon his death, including all his assets.
Now that Nemesis has gained a multi-billion dollar company, she has even more resources that she ever could imagine. Better yet, her greatest enemy has recently moved to Metro City. And now Nemesis plots and schemes once more as she works on new ways to destroy Metro City’s new champion known as Paragon.
As Monica Sharr, she maintains her secret identity as Lionel’s daughter. She convincingly revealed to the public, after years of being out of the spot light, that she is alive and no accident had taken her life. Reports about her death, in this case, were greatly exaggerated.
Secretly, Monica has taken up her father’s criminal empire and ties to the black market. She goes to great lengths to keep this hidden, even from her enemies. She never meets them in person, unless it’s as Nemesis, and she always disguises herself so she cannot be recognized. Easy to do for one who is the master of technology.
Monica also benefits from the state of Metro City’s Suicide Slum. She secretly supplies weapons and technology (all of which CANNOT be traced back to SharrCorp) in exchange for information and absolute loyalty, as well as a large share of the profits made from drugs and other such criminal activity in the slums. Monica often contacts her criminal associates as a shadowy figure on a screen or a mass, vaguely human shaped, shadow in holographic form with a deep computerized, and disguised, voice. Most of the criminals in Suicide Slum know that Nemesis works for this shadowy figure. And if there is a name for this mysterious persona that Monica has invented, it would be known as the Shadow Broker. And what the Shadow Broker wants, the Shadow Broker gets and if she does not get it, she sends Nemesis to put fear into every criminal heart who is unfortunate enough to meet her.
--Nemesis breaks a mob boss out of prison without anyone knowing it was her. All security tapes did not catch her on camera (the wonders of being the master of technology). Afterwards, she warns the mob boss that if he taken to prison again, he will die. She also commands him to spread the word that the Shadow Broker is the new primary, and underground, boss in Suicide Slum. If anyone does not like it, they can take it up with Nemesis.
