If they don't stop bringing up the "understudy avengers" thing and political correctness then that is all this team will be remembered for.

Bingo.

It wont happen but if it does then I reserve the right to slap the writers if I ever come across them. On with this Robin identity already. Now that Dick,Cass and Azrael have been eliminated it's pathetically obvious that :

1) There is no perfect Robin and this was just a wild goose chase.

2) It's Harper frelling Row.

Of course it is. Snyder's on this book and Duke's busy in We Are Robin so who else would it be smh

why not just take Tim into the Court of Owls and leave Dick with Spyral?

I was honestly wondering the same thing, if only for the fact that Tim's got nothing important going on right now anyways. Kid's been fairly bad since the reboot. But at the same time, out of all the Robins, Dick's the one that already had a connection to the Court of Owls introduced from the original storyline. So it makes sense that they'd pick up on that idea here.

I don't mean to sound rude but the whole "we are Robin" and "I am Robin" thing was so annoying, I mean...Robin is not exactly a BIG name in the DC Universe. I can understand if it was maybe "We are Batman" "I am Batman"

Not anymore its not, because there's no history or depth behind it. Pre-Flashpoint however? Yeah i'd say that the name was extremely well known and meant quite a lot, tying into Dick's old status as the heart of the DCU where after Superman he was the hero people trusted the most.

What's with Dick and him getting to be part of all the secret organizations in the world ? I was actually excited when I saw the Nightwing mask but appearantly we have to be stuck with the stupid Owl thing.

And Court of Owls were fine as a Gotman legend but now they are Global ''parliment of owls'' ? Yea, that is not something I really wanna see. Bring back Nightwing dammit !

I'm on the fence, because I agree and disagree at the same time. I have no problem with Dick becoming Nightwing again and pretty much see it as inevitable. But at the same time, DC had no longterm idea as to what to do with the character prior to Grayson (Just like they don't seem to have any real ideas for Tim either). The best thing about Grayson is that it's gotten Dick away from Gotham and the Bat Family so they can build a world around him again, just like they did with Bludhaven back in the 90s and arguably New Teen Titans as well prior to that. As an Agent of Spyral the character has a good bit of freedom and since he's not operating in Gotham the writers don't have to worry about limiting what they're doing based on what's happening in the other Bat books. If/When they return him to Nightwing they need to come up with a direction for the character to go in for it to actually work.

@indomitableregal: Let's see:

1) Odin is now a tyrant and the embodiment of the patriarchy just to make Jane look good.

There better be a damn good reason for the guy to act as a completely different person, hopefully it's not him or he is under mind control. Nevertheless it's annoying to the extreme and blatant pandering.

2) Odin and Heimdall cannot see who she is despite having immense comic awereness and telephaty.

3) She needs to hide her identity from her allies for no explicable reason.

4) Mjolnir is now sentient for no explicable reason. One more thing, it called at her for no explicable reason. One more thing, Odin cannot lift it for no explicable reason.

And no, I don't care if there is a perfect explanation for all of this coming at some point, right now it's incredibly grating. The fact Mjolnir chose her has also been used to force down our throats how she is soo much better than anybody else, it's the go to excuse to tell us why she should have this power instead of the real one.

5) Everything about issue five and the whole girl power theme they have going on.

6) That wisper was an idiotic way to start all of this and makes no sense.

Same reason as above, it's not a good mistery, it's just annoying.

But let's look at possible reasons, shall we?

If it was a personal flaw or something he did, the enchantment would have stopped him from wielding the hammer long before that point.

If it was the unforeseen consequence of an action of his or a mistake he made in good faith, it wouldn't have made him unworthy.

What other possibilities there are?

Anything that could have been the cause of this would have made him unworthy on the spot instead of needing Thor to learn about it first.

7) She's a goddamn mary sue. We have been told on multiple occasions how much better she is than the real Thor despite doing much worse than he would in the same situation and needing sentient Mjolnir to hold her hand.

8) How poorly the real Thor was treated.

9) It's blatantly feminist pandering.

10) Frigga keeps telling us how her husband is a tyrant and his reckoning is coming, he has never been so until this point and everything in the current crysis is her fault. In other words more pandering and she comes off as an idiot.

11) Thor is not a title. He is the God of Thunder by birthright and that's his name, it's why the inscription on Mjolnir says "shall posses the power of Thor".

No, it does not matter that he gave her permission, Marvel should have never allowed the possibility to begin with, it was stupid the last two times they did it, it' stupider now.

12) Aaron has gone out of his way to demonize those that disagree with the change.

13) The situation as a whole does not capture the essence of a good Thor book.

Literally all of this. Best thing this series has going for it is the art (Which admittedly is phenomonal)

Dini's name along already had my interest. The personal touch to this story and the courage it takes to write about such an event then makes it a must-buy.
