The Amazons were lucky.

I just got Scooby-Doo! Team-Up #5. The Amazons were lucky. If Shaggy's feet touched the ground, the Amazons would be finished. They would be powerless. The Duke of Deception would have won. Aphrodite's law said a lot about feet. But it said nothing about bottoms. Shaggy was able to keep his feet off the ground because he is an ex-sports star. He saved the Amazons.

Scooby-Doo/Super Friends Crossover Coming in September

I have news. Come this September, Scooby-Doo Team-Up #6 is going to feature a crossover with Super Friends. This is hardly surprising to me since Super Friends is a spin-off of The New Scooby-Doo Movies. Also, the members of Mystery, Inc. already know Batman and Robin and will soon meet Wonder Woman in Themyscira in Scooby-Doo Team-Up #5. It would be a pleasure for Scooby-Doo to meet Superman, Aquaman, and the Wonder Twins for the first time. The reason why I know this is because the official synopsis from dccomics.com mentions the Hall of Justice.

Update: The Spook! He's back!

Update: I was wrong. But the Scarecrow is back and in a new costume. The Wonder Twins do not actually appear, but the Legion of Doom does.

Possible DC Superheroes in Scooby-Doo Team-Up

Here are some possible DC Comics superheroes for Scooby-Doo Team-Up:

  1. Superman - Obviously. I want to see Superman meet Scooby-Doo.
  2. Aquaman - Shaggy and Scooby have been to Atlantis for the Laff-A-Lympics. Why not have them return to Atlantis and meet Aquaman who Shaggy and Scooby probably already know?
  3. Flash - Flash, more specifically Barry Allen, is a forensic scientist in his day job. He could be of good use to Mystery, Inc.
  4. Green Lantern - Green Lantern, more specifically Hal Jordan, could take Mystery, Inc. on an adventure.
  5. Wonder Twins - They would make good friends of Mystery, Inc.
  6. Green Arrow - He is a very similar to Batman with the exception that he uses arrows.
  7. Hawkman - As a policeman from Thanagar, Katar Hol could assist Mystery, Inc.
  8. Hawkwoman - Same reason as Hawkman.
  9. Atom - Ray Palmer is a scientist who can assist Mystery, Inc.
  10. Martian Manhunter - As a policeman from Mars, J'onn J'onzz could assist Mystery, Inc. on a case.

Notice that I did not include Batman or Wonder Woman in this list. That is because Batman and Robin have already appeared in the comic book, and Wonder Woman is going to.

Coming up on Scooby-Doo Team-Up

With Myron leaving to mess with Bat-Mite, Scooby-Mite, and Larry, let us see what Mystery, Inc. has in store. Issue 5 stars Wonder Woman and the Amazons. A haunting on Themyscira will certainly be interesting. Daphne and Velma being trained by the Amazons will also. I also have a feeling that the villain will be a god of some kind. I will know when the comic book come out in July. My hope is that Wonder Woman is depicted the way she was in Superfriends.

Possible characters for Scooby-Doo Team-Up

I have some ideas for possible characters in Scooby-Doo Team-Up. Here they are:

1. Blue Falcon & Dynomutt - They are friends with Mystery, Inc., just like Batman and Robin. I really want to see them in the comic book.

2. Speed Buggy - Speed Buggy and Tinker were members of the Scooby Doobies during the Laff-A-Lympics. Also, they, along with Mark and Debbie, have met Mystery, Inc. before.

3. Captain Caveman & the Teen Angels - These four met Shaggy and Scooby-Doo before when they were competing in the Laff-A-Lympics. Captain Caveman actually saved Shaggy's life once in Venice during those games. Also, Brenda Chance could serve as a potential love interest for Shaggy.

4. Jeannie & Babu - Jeannie, Babu, Corey, and Henry are close friends of Mystery, Inc. Babu was also in the Laff-A-Lympics. The only difficulty is the fact that Jeannie is a character owned by Sony.

5. Hong Kong Phooey - Hong Kong Phooey knows Shaggy and Scooby from the Laff-A-Lympics. We might also find out why Daphne is a martial artist.

6. Superfriends - The members of Mystery, Inc. already know Batman and Robin. They will also soon meet Wonder Woman. Superman and Aquaman should also be featured in the comic book. Maybe the rest of the Justice League as well.

7. The Funky Phantom - Mudsy can sure surprise Shaggy and Scooby. He is a ghost.

8. Jabberjaw - That shark that talks like one of the Three Stooges can sure be a good ally to the team. And the Neptunes, too.

9. Josie & the Pussycats - This rock band has met Mystery, Inc. before in Missouri. The only problem is that the characters are owned by Archie Comics.

10. The Harlem Globetrotters - The Harlem Globetrotters are a real-life basketball team whose members have met Mystery, Inc.

I finish with one question. Does anyone have other ideas for this comic book?

Issue 4 of Scooby-Doo Team-Up

I was right! Issue 4 of Scooby-Doo Team-Up is set in a parallel universe, but you would hardly notice it. Mystery, Inc. certainly don't. There is no mention of parallel universes in the comic book. Also, Cyborg and Beast Boy were the ones behind the haunting of Titans Tower. First, Cyborg scared Beast Boy. Beast Boy decided to get back at Cyborg by scaring him. Then, they decided to play jokes on their friends. Mystery, Inc. figured that out. But the story does not stop there. There is no Trigon in this story, but there is Raven's uncle Myron who causes irritation until he is forced to leave. I hate parodies of famous TV shows. I prefer the originals themselves. This go with the Teen Titans.

The Future of Scooby-Doo Team-Up

Issue 3 of Scooby-Doo Team-Up is a bit surprising. It actually reveals how some people acquired costumes to pose as monsters. If the Spook and False-Face sold all of those costumes which would be quite a feat, Mystery, Inc. would be out of a job, and that would never do. I bet Scooby-Mite would agree with me. The good news is that the comic book is continuing. I have information to reveal on two upcoming issues of Scooby-Doo Team-Up. Issue 4 is coming out this Wednesday. It gives me a headache because of one strange thing. It features the Teen Titans. The cover has the Teen Titans drawn in the style of Teen Titans Go! This could mean that Mystery, Inc., especially Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, have been transported into a parallel universe by Larry who appears at the end of Issue 3. In Issue 4, Titans Tower is haunted, and it is up to Shaggy and Scooby to find out why. Cyborg and Beast Boy seem like obvious suspects, but they might not be the culprits after all. I was very surprised when DC Comics released the synopsis of Issue 5. I was expecting Batman and Robin to be in the first six issues of the comic book. Mystery, Inc. will be meeting Wonder Woman for the first time. In the issue, Themyscira is attacked by mysterious creatures, and Wonder Woman asks for Mystery, Inc.'s help, possibly at the suggestion of Batman and Robin. Wonder Woman also starts training Daphne and Velma in the combat techniques used by the Amazons. I have a feeling that Issue 5 features real monsters. I could be wrong, but that is something to go by. Also, no cover has been revealed for Issue 5. Instead, they use an image from Issue 1. Please note that this is about the paperback only.
