The Crimson Queen (Part 3.5)

For a year and a day Naamah labored, in service to the Crone, whom with blood-wisdom, bound her as surely as any prisoner.

The Crone would visit Naamah at night, force her to give up her blood for secret elixirs and potent formulas.

The Crone would take the children of Enoch, and they would never be heard from again. Yet, Naamah in her wisdom, did not drink from the Crone ever again. The Crone did not think to ask this of her, thinking that Naamah was forever to be her Thrall.

One night, Naamah went to the Crone in the deepest darkest parts of the forest, and told her of terrible dreams that she had during her sleep.

"I fear for my life, Crone, I fear the prophecy of an Oracle from Enoch, and the lust of a champion for my blood. Tell me secret knowledge, that I might be powerful against my own."

And the Crone went over to a tree made of gopher wood, and broke off a limb. She took a sharp piece of stone and carved out a notch in its tip, before festooning a mystical crystal with a bit of leather-twine.

"Take this piece of living wood, strong, call upon the true name of the traitorous child, in the ancient language of your forbears. The child's life essence will be claimed by the crystal of your stave, their very soul will be yours to do with what you will."

Naamah then replied. "Thank you, Mother," and with that, moving in quick movements, Naamah took the staff of gopher wood, seized it and drove it deep within the Crone's chest.

Because Naamah, wise Naamah had fed not upon her for a year and a day and because she forced her Will through her hands, she was able to break the bonds the Crone had held on her, and was able to turn her fortune.

"Kuutzs Tovakkien!" (Baba Yaga) Naamah says the Crone's true name in Enocian, as she laughed.

The Crone laughed again, as blood welled up and poured out of her mouth. Her eyes poured out hate. Naamah kissed her once, kissed her withered lips, and left her corpse to rot in the darkness, as she claimed the Crones own soul. As she did, her own soul was restored as the piece she had given the Crone returns to make itself whole once more.

One night Naamah came upon an old Crone singing to the Moon-Goddess, Luna.

So, Naamah asked the Crone, "Why do you sing so?"

And the Crone replied, "I sing, I yearn for what, I cannot have..."

Naamah knew this feeling well, she also yearned for what was lost to her. "I yearn also. What can one do about such things?"

The Crone smiled as she replied. "Drink, deeply, from my cup. Naamah, daughter of Elohim, and return to me tomorrow night. Then, shall I tell you the wisdom that you seek. Luna's secrets."

Naamah greedily took the Crones goblet of spiced wine, and drank the whole of it, before departing.

The following night, Naamah found the Crone asleep on a rock. "Wake up, Crone," Naamah commanded. "For I, have returned."

The Crone opened one eye, before replying. "Tonight, I shall dream of the solution for you. Drink once more of my cup, before returning to me tomorrow night. I will surely have an answer for you then."

Once again, Naamah drank deeply of the Crones wine, the Crone who immediately fell back into a deep slumber.

When Naamah returned the next night, the Crone looked up at her and smiled. "Greetings, Mistress of Darkness," the Crone said.

"I have the wisdom you seek."

"Take some of my blood, and mix it into this bowl I have hear for collecting berries. Along with these herbs, and some wine, then drink deeply of the elixir."

"You will be irresistible.

You will be powerful.

You will be ardent.

You will be pure.

You will be glowing.

Your father will forgive you, and welcome you home."

And so, Naamah drank from the Crone's elixir, because she was lonely, and she desired to return to her fathers warm embrace.

And the Crone laughed. The Crone laughed aloud.

She had tricked Naamah. She had made a slave of Naamah.

Naamah was angry beyond compare, she even reached out with her powers, to rend the Crone apart with her strength.

The Crone cackled and said, "Do not,"

And Naamah could do nothing against her.

The Crone cackled and said, "Love me,"

And Naamah could do nothing but stare into her ancient eyes, desire her leathery skin.

The Crone laughed and said, "Make me immortal."

And Naamah tore apart a piece of her own immortal soul, and bestowed it to the Crone. She cackled again, laughed with pure ecstasy of the gift, for it did not pain her.

"I have made you powerful, Naamah of Enoch, daughter of Elohim, but you will forever be bound to me. I have made you master of all, but you will never forget me! Your blood, potent as it is now, will bind those who drink it, as you did, once a night for three nights. You will be the master. They will be your Thrall, as you are mine. Make your own Heaven on Earth, and love me forever. Go, now, and claim for yourself a new family. I will wait for you in the darkest places, while I brew more potions for your health."

And so, heavy hearted, Naamah returned to Enoch. And each night, for three nights, she had the people of Enoch drink of her elixir, and on the third night, Naamah announced that she would be Queen of Enoch, and the people rejoiced.

The Crimson Queen. (Part Two)

No Caption Provided

When the child was born, he was named Samson. He grew up to become an extremely strong man. One day as he was traveling through the country a lion attacked him. With only his bare hands Samson tore the animal in pieces and left the body lying on the ground.

Not long afterward he came that way again. He found that a swarm of bees had settled in the lions body, and that it was full of honey. Samson tore off pieces of honeycomb and ate it as he walked along.

Samson made up a riddle. "Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet."

No one could guess the answer until he gave a hint. Then they knew. "What is sweeter than honey, what is stronger than a lion?"

Everyone in the land had heard of how Samson fought against the Philistines even though he had been tied in strong ropes. Everyone in the land had heard how the Philistines had locked Samson in the city. But at midnight Samson slipped down to heavy, locked gate in the city wall. He pulled up the gate post and all, and put them on his shoulders. Then he carried the heavy gate to the top of a hill. When the Philistines went to look for him, Samson was gone.

What everyone does not know... Is that Samson was a lustful man and he bedded down many wenches, when he was deep in his drink, he would lose all control and he would take his frustrations out on his lovers. He was an abusive, cheating, good for nothing, drunk.

Samson loved a woman named Delilah. The Philistines knew Samson loved her even though she was a Philistine. The Philistines begged Delilah to find out the secret of why Samson was so strong.

The Philistines offered Delilah eleven hundred pieces of silver if she would find out why Samson was so strong. That is what the story tells us, the truth was a different story altogether. No amount of silver would have been enough to get Delilah to betraying her man, it was jealousy that took control over Delilah.

Naamah was using the name Delilah in those days, and she was Samson's lover, and she dealt with the drunkenness, and she dealt with the abuse of his rage, but she was still a wrathful woman, so she could not deal with the adultery. So with a heavy heart Naamah betrayed her lover, out of jealous rage. The rest of the story goes just as it was written, save for a few unknown details.

Samson found the strength inside himself to push the pillars down, as they gave way and crashed to the ground. The walls and roof fell down on the people. Thousands of Philistines were killed, Samson died along with them. Only one person walked away from the rubble. In the darkness of night, Naamah left the land of Dan in search for a new start.

The Crimson Queen. (Part One)

The Legend of Naamah
The Legend of Naamah

Many legendary tales were not put down to paper, until ages passed by, and all had forgotten what had actually transpired. The Crimson skinned Fallen Celestial being known solely as Naamah, is such a literary victim. Much of her own history, was altered by men and women, sitting alone by campfires. Singing tales that they hardly knew, and embellishing the tales to suit their own means, or their own agendas.

One such tale is the one about how Naamah's very own beautiful sun-kissed skin, was first stained crimson with the blood of innocent Abel. Abel that was murdered by his brother Cain. The first murder recorded in history by some accounts, definitely the first between beloved brothers such as they. The part that the scribes neglected to mention, was that Naamah's role was massive in the tragedy taking place altogether.

In those days Naamah was referring to herself by the name of Lilith, who was and is, actually a sister to Naamah. One that was not on Earth at the time. Naamah in the guise of her own sister, tricked and manipulated Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel. She did so out of hate and spitefulness, how could her father favor such weak pathetic creatures over her and her siblings. Mortals that call themselves humans, but in her eyes are just less simple forms of monkeys.

Naamah's blame in convincing Cain that murdering Abel and sacrificing him to God, was so great that when Cain was cursed. So was Naamah. Even though she was a great many days travel away from the siblings, when the actual murder took place. She knew the exact moment that Abel had been murdered, because as his blood soaked into the ground, it dripped not into the soil beneath. It dripped onto Naamah's own flesh staining it crimson with each and every drop until all of Abel's blood stained her completely.

Screams of horror could be heard coming from Naamah's bed chambers, the blood was liken to that of holy fire, as it burned its way onto her skin, melting away at her own skin. The entire process took hours, and was exhausting. Naamah collapsed from the pain alone after the deed was done, and she stayed stained crimson for many ages. Cursed, shunned, exiled.

It wasn't until she met an old crone named Carrion, that aided Naamah and taught her how to hide her curse. How to make herself appear as she wished, the ability to use shadows in order to shift her visage into anything she desired. The crone would use this simple trick in order to get young handsome men to share her bed with her. Or use it to lure children into her hut, that would never been seen from, or heard from again.

With the ability to appear as she wished, Naamah was now ready to retake her place in civilization, without showing any signs of the curse no one would know who she was, and if anyone old enough to remember her personally was still among the living, she would tell them that she was not the cursed woman known as Lilith, she would say that she was her daughter Naamah. She would tell them that she left her vile mother alone in the wilderness to rot away to nothing, because she was a loathsome wretched creature.

Fortunately for Naamah none who were old enough to remember were there, and no one recognized her as the cursed woman Lilith. She had a chance at a fresh start, and she stopped to so openly defy God, she still did so, but being careful not to cross any lines such as the one she had, ever again.

The Possession of Faith Talisker. (Part Two)

The cabal had reached the island of Karpathos located in the Aegean Sea. The island was populated but not overly so, for its size, a perfect place for Byzou to be lurking in shadows. Faith knew that she had reached her moment upon arrival of the Greek island of Karpathos, due to a reliquary she had pilfered off an elder Kabbalist who was known for a healer of the demonic condition, an exorcist.

The reliquary which was kept safe in a glass jar, was a severed finger which reportedly once belonged to Byzou herself. In any case the severed finger did start to show signs of activity upon arrival, it started to twitch and flex as if it were still connected to its former masters very essence.

Faith begun to wonder that if the finger could sense Byzou, perhaps Byzou could also sense this connection and maybe she was aware that someone had come to seek her out. The other members of the cabal were starting to show signs of doubtfulness in Ms Taliskers plan, and some were even beginning to voice out their concerns. Faith was quick to quill these frantic whispers, with cold stares that promised horrible punishment should they not heed her warning. The whispers stop, abruptly.

Traveling now by way of a Van they had rented from the only car rental on the island of Karpathos, the cabal headed inland away from the small city like sea-side townies, towards the country folk who lived further onto the island and had large stretches of land between their homesteads, well large being a relative term for an island of it's size. 125.1 sq miles (324.1 kmĀ²), an island only populated by 7'000 people at the very most.

Once they reach the countryside it becomes very apparent that something vastly unnatural was indeed happening in this place, the people locked themselves inside their dwellings, and refused to give any hospitality to the outsiders. Not the behavior that was considered normal for the people of Karpathos in the slightest sense, these were normally very warm and welcoming people. Upon a closer look and the truth is revealed, there was an unnatural amount of freshly dug graves in this place, small graves, child sized graves.

"Byzou." Faith Talisker says softly, with a honeyed voice, through smiling lips. "At last we will become one."

The Possession of Faith Talisker. (Part One)

Through the forest nights wander the lonely, nomadic Byzou. Unlike her siblings, Byzou spurn the trappings of civilization, preferring to roam the deep wilds in solitude.

The night prowling Byzou is feral and possesses careless mortals that wander into her territory, with disturbing animalistic tendencies and features to match them. Rarely staying in one place, Byzou is a nomadic wanderer, satisfied only when running alone under the night sky. Distant, aloof and savage, Byzou is known as a tragic individual.

Known among sages for millennia as the "Children of Death," the Necromancers of an ancient order are shunned even by their brethren orders for their macabre interests. Still, the secretive nature of the order has caused many people to fear them as respect them. They are respected for their insight and wisdom and largely trusted due to their lack of interest in earthly power. The order has recently made packs with a small cabal of foreign necromancers in order to further their studies.

Unknown to them is their foolery, due to the foreigners not being as honest or trustworthy. The small cabal has their own motives for the dark union, motives that are drawn to a more infernal subjugation, than necromantic scholarly achievements.

So many names has the animalistic presence of chaotic furies out of balance perversions born from unholy envy, leading to dark acts of brutality against mortality in its most precious state. Obyzouth is the name of a female demon, blamed for miscarriages, still-births, and infant mortality. She is motivated by envy, due to herself being infertile, and wishing her own agony upon the rest of creation.

Faith Talisker bloomed to power within her order, she made a name for herself by achieving things that others never even dreamed of considering, her ability to transcribe existing tombs in order to contrive original rites was uncanny. And so it was this young upstart that first caught the interest of the ancient order of the supposed deaths children. It is Faith Talisker that leads the small cabal of her own, and it is Faith Talisker that has darker motives then anyone could imagine for accepting the alliance, between the two orders. Their delving into the human condition, their desire to better understand death bored Faith. She set her own gaze into understanding more about the afterlife, and more specifically into the beings known as demons, she was in fact involved with demonology. Her own studies led her to a remote island off the shores of Greece. It was here in this place she sought to bind the entity known as Byzou to herself, she actually wanted the possession to take place, and to hell with anyone that got in her way.

Welcome to my instructional guide. You may be wondering why I would write a guide on this subject, when I am known to keep company with demons and am directly related to Lucifer himself. When a goddess decides to make knowledge available there is most assuredly a really good reason for the leak of information. I have my reasons and that is all I have to say on the matter. Some demons are not supposed to walk the Earth they have not been invited and they are not worthy of my protection. Within this guide I will explain many things you need to know about encountering demons, including how to banish them back to Hell, certain bad habits that make demons predictable, and even how to identify them.

Chapter One: Identify!

If you believe you have seen a demon, chances are you haven't. Most demons do not like anyone to know that they are in fact demons. And if a demon does want you to know what he/she is, this is usually a bad omen. The point of this guide is to prepare you so that you become the hunter, not the hunted.

Most demons do not look any different than anyone else in terms of mere appearance alone, that is unless they want you to know and then it is pretty obvious. There are many types of demons and some are easier to classify then others. The more powerful demons are often times the hardest to root out, while the mindless pit-fiends are often incredibly short sighted and just want to murder, rape, cannibalize, mutilate, all in the name of Evil for the sake of Evil. They have no master plans, no sense of self-worth and they will be disturbing.

Possession is often times the most common way to meet a demon. Children are the most common targets for demon possession, as the demons are drawn to their innocence and wish to corrupt and defile it. It is usually pretty obvious when a demon has leeched itself onto a mortals soul, child or not. Their physical appearance usually takes on a haunting reminder of what has taken root inside of them, they become wild animal like, as if running completely on impulse. They growl, they drool, they bite, they howl, they scratch, they have horribly bad breath, and they say the nastiest things you could imagine.

Breakouts are demons that should be in Hell but have found a way to end up on Earth instead. They are usually fairly reclusive, unless they are some type of Incubus or Succubus, they are usually attention whores and are around many people who adore them until they spend some alone time with them. I have a fair amount of animosity towards Succubi due to people mistaking myself as one of their kind. It is taxing on my nerves to have to repeat time and time again how I am a Seraph and not a goddamn garden verity Succubus! They are often times either very attractive, or horribly terrifying. Sexy beyond reason, or built tough and ugly as a mud fence.

Chapter Two: Bad Habits.

Demons have a lot of emotional damages from being tormented in Hell for eons, it has given them some pretty easy to exploit bad habits. Vanity or Pride is a pretty common one. I am sure you know where I am going with this by now. The seven deadly sins are in fact almost always noticeable in each in every demon, some more so, or less so than others. Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Laziness, Envy, and Wrath.

Demons also have a tendency to mock things that are of religious significance and can be even hostile about it if provoked directly by a practicing member of some religion, only if a devout follower of the said faith. Demons get uneasy around true faith as they have none, no faith in anyone or anything, not even themselves.

And last but not least, demons frequent dens of iniquity. If there is a place that mortals enjoy sinning in excess that is where you would most likely find a demon hiding, because they don't standout as much around other sinners. Around the wicked they seem almost normal, almost human.

Chapter Three: Banishment.

You will need a piece of the demon. A finger, a toe, a horn, a tooth, his/her heart. Something tangible many have tried to use hair confiscated by means of theft and ended up banishing an innocent child or a family member or pet instead of the demon. Make damn sure you have a piece of the actual demon that you mean to banish, then take that piece someplace safe and perform the banishing ritual. You will need a virgin sacrifice, a silver dagger, candles are a nice touch for ambiance, and then you will need to repeat this chant over and over again until you see the piece that you procured vanish from sight. This is because the demon has been made whole once more, as the piece is returned to the hosts body. But this also ties the hosts body to the magic being used from this point forward. Then begin the next chant that will summon the demons spirit into the virgin sacrifices body. As soon as this takes place drive the dagger through its heart and repeat this third and final chant that will summon an Arch-Angel, that will drag the demon back to Hell.

    1. Chant One: "Porthu, Porthu, Porthu, Clamixa!"
    2. Chant Two: "Gorthul, Tallannazi, Gorthul, Tallannazi!"
    3. Chant Three: "Yo Micheal get your feathered ass down here and take care of this mess... I mean it Mr High and Mighty, I don't have all day to wait for you to do your job!"

A Final Message by the Author.

Now you know everything that you need to know about dealing with demons. Go on then! Smite yourself a Succubus in the name of the greater good or whatever undoubtedly gay ass reason you probably have for the hunt in the first place. Chow bitches! Naamah out!

Bruce skips merrily through the enchanting forest whistling a lively tune, dragging his sweet Annabell closely behind. Dressed in his Sunday-best and smelling of sweet fragrances the gentleman courts his lover around a crystal-clear pond and up and over a plump hill. It is here in this place that the pair had finally arrived to the sacred spot beneath a large weeping willow tree. Bruce lays out a quilted blanket that his grandmother handmade for him in his earlier years, before unpacking their picnic basket. He reads off the contents in a very official manner only with a cheerful note to his already pleasant voice. "Two silver platters? Check. Two silver goblets? Check. Two silver spoons, forks, and knives. Check, check, check. Two bottles of Wine, Riesling for milady and Pinot Noir for yours truly. Check and check. Ripe purple grapes, cheese and crackers for snacking. Check. And last but not least smoked salmon steaks and french-bread croissants for the main course. Check and check." the man is so pleased with himself he is positively glowing.

He drinks his wine and eats a bit of cheese, before frolicking whimsically off into a nearby meadow pulling on a length of string attached to a kite for flying, he so did enjoy the feel of a kite being teased by the lively breeze of the open countryside. His kite was blue like the sky around it and it had a long red tail with yellow ribbons tied to the tail at varies lengths, that made swooshing noises as they played in the wind.

Annabell lay still on the ground as always, her once upon a time beautiful wedding dress was worn with stains and tattered, mangled to shreds by being drug around the roughness of the Earthen-floor. Her eyes were open wide and dull with a haunting paleness, that matched the rest of her. Her skin was as pale as the fresh fallen snow of winter no longer did it resemble the crust of a perfectly baked apple pies crust. Her hair had grown since she last came to this spot but it no longer shinned of gold and brown, it was now a dull dirty brown and was tangled beyond redemption.

Bruce laughs as he plays away the afternoon before returning to his motionless lover, taking his spot by her side he finishes his meal, and even helps Annabell by eating hers as well. "I'm sorry my darling, but you didn't look like you were even slightly interested in dinning with me today. Hope you don't mind?" He says apologetically as he stares at her doll-like feminine figure, that has begun to attract flies. The smell that Annabell gives off was pungent and reeked of rot and decay.

After having a conversation with his lover for a spell, sitting contently in his hollowed place beside her ever-resting bosom. Bruce remarks how funny she was and leans over her placing a kiss upon her clammy chalk colored cheek, before whispering sweet nothings inside of her ears that are not able to hear them.

Before the scene could become increasingly more uncomfortable a shadowy dark figure steps out from behind the weeping willow tree. The figure has the silhouette of an old hag and the voice matches her twisted form perfectly as her voice is as the ravens croak. "I have been watching you for sometime now Mr Bruce."

The eternally dedicated albeit insane widower scurries back in horror as his eyes glare up at the old Crone of a Witch, whom has ensnared him with an evil gaze. He is now under her spell as she continues to converse with the poor madman. "I can give you back that which has been stolen from you." His eyes that should not be able to leave the Hags own mystical gaze is able to break free for only a moment as they stare downward at the lifeless remains of his beloved Annabell. "Yes! Yes to whatever it is that you require!" He answers her knowing of her by reputation as being a dark deal maker.

The hags cruel thin lips curl up into a wicked smile, her eyes burn like the very pits of hell. "Whatever I require from you it shall be. Your wish will be granted with the rising of tomorrows sun." She finishes. Before throwing the man down a shovel and pointing to the ground. "Dig your sweet Annabell a grave and place her within. When the sun rises, so will she."

Bruce greedily grabs the shovel quickly gathering himself to his feet and begins to dig. He gets about seven shovel-heads worth of dirt drawn from the ground before his body shakes with the fear of the unknown. "And what is it that you require from me?"

The Old Hag begins to walk away into a conjured up fog that fills the forest about them, before she stops for a moment with her reply. "That is for me to know. And for you to give me when I require it." She croaks with a sound of slight amusement laced within her call. After she speaks she vanishes from his sight, disappearing into the foreboding fog as if being swallowed up.

Bruce regrets nothing as he continues to dig, he looks like the most brilliantly happy grave-digger there had ever of been. His muscles ache, his heart races, his eyes burn with chaos, his forehead drips with sweat. He would be sore by dawn when his love would raise from her grave as the Crone foretold. He would rest by her once he had her under the ground, he would collapse beside her grave and rest here until dawn.

The Woodcutter's Wife Volume 1.5 (Revised)

The Woodcutter's Wife Volume 1.5 (Revised)

Legend tells of a woodcutter who built a shack deep within the pine forest. There, he hoped to live in peace and prosperity with his family.

The woodcutter's family lived well for a time, but without warning, the weather turned bitterly cold and spoiled the harvest. Before long, with their meager supply of food all but gone, the family was starving.

Late one snowy night, a traveler knocked on the cabin door seeking shelter from the biting cold. Always generous of heart, the woodcutter welcomed the stranger into his home, apologizing that he had no food to offer.

With a smile, the traveler cast off his cloak to reveal the garments of a wizard. As the woodcutter and his family looked on, the mysterious visitor reached into his satchel and withdrew a scroll tied with a silver ribbon. No sooner had the wizard unfurled the scroll and read the words aloud, when a great feast appeared from out of thin air. That night, nobody in the woodcutter's cabin went hungry.

Day by day, the snow piled up. Every night, the wizard produced another scroll from his bag and read the words, each time summoning a new feast. On the fifth night, the woodcutters wife awoke her husband to confess her mistrust of their magical guest. Surely, she argued, there was some price to pay for the magical feasts that everyone enjoyed night after night.

The woodcutter would have none of it. After nearly dying from the lack of food, his family was eating well. The divines had sent them a gift, he explained, and it was foolish to question their wisdom. "By the grace of the divines, we have been saved from starvation."

But the woodcutter's wife would not be persuaded. Every night, she grew more fearful and more desperate. She was certain that the family had entered into a devil's bargain, and the time would soon come when the wizard would ask for something unspeakable in return for his gifts. She became obsessed with the notion.

While everyone in the cabin slept, the woodcutter's wife snuck out of bed and took her husbands legendary silver axe in hand. She crept into the traveler's room and with one mighty swing, the silver axe-head cut neatly through skin, and vertebrae lopping off his head.

Suddenly, the wizard's disembodied head awoke. His eyes opened wide and when he beheld his maimed body, he let forth a terribly painful cry.

Awakened by the horrified scream, the woodcutter and his children rushed into the room and gasped at the terrible sight of the decapitated wizard.

With his last gasp of breath, the traveler laid a fearful curse on the woodcutter's wife. After her mortal death, she was damned to rise once again and walk the woods alone only to burn at the rising sun.

To this day, those who walk the pine forest late at night tell tale of a weeping woman glimpsed between the trees. She carries a bloody axe, the stories say, and is terrifying to behold.

She is known by those whom have encountered her as the 'White Lady', she may have been the one and the same wife from the woodcutter tale, or perhaps another unknown tale of how she became cursed to wander the pine forest alone for eternity. I can only speculate that she is the woodcutter's wife, her name long since forgotten through the ages. But their is a weeping in the winds of the great pine forest, it can be heard at night by anyone with ears to hear it.
