I think Kel'Thuzad would likely win because he knew vastly more about Arthas's own powers than Arthas himself did. In fact, everything Death Knight Arthas knew was because KT told him to begin with. His knowledge about the Lich King, Frostmourne, and necromancy surpassed that of the dreadlords, the very beings who aided in the Lich King's creation and oversaw him. Given this, I'm relatively confident he could devise a way to defeat him.

Political correctness is a fake, made up buzzword used to support certain ideologies while undermining others.

While I understand the point you're trying to make, and to an extent agree with you, fundamentally, all words are made-up (insofar as them being social constructs). When a word or symbol is ascribed a meaning that becomes understood by a relevant enough portion of the population, it becomes real.

Classic Thor is the same as standard 616 Thor. Superman wins.

If the anime is applicable then Goku needed a suit to resist the heat of being in the Earth's core.

Do you NEED a coat to survive in the snow? Or do you wear it just to be more comfortable?

Goku has factually resisted forces and heat even worse than the core of the Earth. But when he doesn’t need to, why would he carelessly expose himself to something so uncomfortable? The core of the earth is never going to feel GOOD even for the most powerful beings in the universe. Not only the heat, but the pressure, and the lack of oxygen and toxins in the air. It’s all just very uncomfortable for anybody.

I don’t see why this should be used to measure the limit of Son’s power. He just wants to be comfortable, it’s not said that he would instantly vaporize or something without the suit. I am sure this environment would have been potentially deadly to Goku eventually, but it’s like you going outside in the snow. You have the potential to freeze to death, but it doesn’t mean you can’t tank some snow.

Considering the fact that the heat of a nuke can reach an upwards of 100 million degrees (for reference, the core of the sun is approx. 15 million degrees, and the inner core of the earth a mere 5000 degrees), your analogy could be more aptly described as the difference between a single snowflake gently landing on a person and someone being exposed to an absolute zero temperature.

@mysticmedivh: No just sage mode.

So KCM + SM?

I'm confused cause I don't recall him having all that many feats in the War with just SM. Most of it was either KCM or KCM + SM.

@manimalman: Thriller bark is island size, and even the manga it still island level so doesn't matter

so what?

You keep touting the word island as if it means something in this context.

Islands can vary in size. Everything from a chunk of land the size of a football field to Greenland can be an island.

Is Thriller Bark like Greenland? Japan? Hawaii? Cuba? Jamaica? No. It's not even city-sized.

How much of an "island" is it, really? You could fit a few city blocks in there if we're counting the diameter of the gate as well, but that's it.

@exauce:

Hardly. One Piece islands are tiny. Thriller Bark had one castle on it that almost spanned the whole thing.
