Wow, this really offended some people, even several years later.
Look, I have no problem accepting Cap as superior to Batman, even if you accept the one-off feats that show him capable of feats beyond what is traditionally shown. However, that's only if you accept the serum boosted him far beyond what any normal human is capable of.
There are some people who hold the opinion that the serum didn't boost him to anything past what a human is capable of achieving through a perfect regiment of exercise, a perfect diet and perfect training. Well, that person would basically be Batman, and if you compare them both as peak humans, then in my humble opinion Bruce has more impressive feats, that are more consistent with each other over the years.
For me, it all revolves around if Cap is closer to Deathstroke or Bruce in terms of physical superiority.
My opinion: Cap is augmented past what a peak human can reach ala Deathstroke. While Steve could take Bruce in endurance, strength and speed, Bruce takes it in strategy and combat experience. I know people disagree, but we all have different opinions, which is why it's fun to discuss this stuff. Let's be nice OK.....
