Your criticisms are on point, Spidey. The more I've been thinking about it the more I'm realizing that Endgame is not going to age well as the MCU continues to grow and expand. It introduced a very convoluted and inconsistent version of time travel, Hulk's arc was solved off screen, Thor officially solidified as a joking fratbro instead of a Viking Warrior, Thanos' depth from Infinity War has been rendered meaningless, and now all the things you pointed out about the lack of stakes in the plot, etc.
Those are huge missteps that can't just be ignored, Endgame was the climax of the Infinity Saga and the foundation for all the movies and Disney+ shows that are coming in Phase 4. This movie had very little room for mistakes, and they made a ton of them. Not to say it was complete trash or anything, I personally would say I enjoyed Endgame and like you said Captain America and Iron Man's arcs/endings were brilliant, but it's no Infinity War, and it could've been with just a few fixes really.
@mutant1230: Currently i would add DCEU Superman ( he is a God [ big 'G' ] ), MCU Thor ( can tank supernovas and above omnipotence ), MCU Hela ( can one shot anything and smash your skull by touch ), CW Godspeed ( obvious ), MCU Thanos ( his wank is lame ), Fox Phoenix ( ok is powerful but some her fans exaggerates ), MCU Cap marvel ( can blitz u at mtfl, nobody can hurt her ).
I think DCEU Diana hype went down and i think CW Supergirl isn't inconsistent anymore that much.
+ could u make also list of most underrated live action superheroes ?
Good suggestions!
Keep in mind though this was made in mid 2017 which is why characters like Hela and Thor aren't listed (even though they definitely have a place on here). Not sure why DCEU Superman got left out since he is massively overrated sometimes too.
An underrated live action superheroes blog would be interesting, I'd have to think about who would be on it though.
Lol Booksmart actually became a meme on the Say Something About the User Above You thread along with Aladdin. Wasn't expecting it to be non-ironically reviewed and analyzed on here.
Would you recommend someone see this movie in the theater/cinema? I was thinking about seeing it and even if it's not brilliantly written all I'd hope for is something that's entertaining and enjoyable.
