Meredith touched down in the hell hole that was Gothic, she hadn't come home for the nostalgia...there wasn't much good she could remember happening her, seeing her dad's dead body at the age of 10 kinda crushed the possibility of fondly looking back on her childhood. She was only 15, but in a way, her mother used to tell her, just like her late father she acted at once ten years older and ten years younger than she actually was. No, no...she was here to find a fragment of the man who she had loved, the man her brother seemed to have forgotten, the man who had raised them, Mathias Hadley...her father. She'd tracked down her dad's old roommate, Sentinel Hawk, a woman she might have idolized had she not lost her father and made him into the god he never asked to be. So Thea was here in Gothic, knocking on the sh*ttiest, most worn down door she had ever seen, besides maybe that of the cathedral in San Valentin that she, like her father before her, made her home. When the door opened, she half expected to have gotten the wrong address, there was no wat a Hawk Lord lived here, but there she was...Sentinel Hawk standing in the doorway.
