If I remember correctly he was indeed latino. His mother was a rebel in Santa Prisca and he was born in a prison on that fictional latin island. His father was british though. Media that follows the comics closely pretty much always portray him with that accent, TAS, Young Justice, most if not all of the animated movies,etc. In the commentary for Dark Knight Rises it's stated that they wanted his accent to have an ancient latin type of vibe rather than latin american so he may even be of latin descent in that movie as well though it's hard to say since his origins were intentionally ambiguous.

@LenSnart: Lmao, not gonna lie I didn't even notice that, but I wouldn't be all that surprised if they decided to have Donna Troy be the New 52's Earth 2 Fury. You're probably right though, could just be Hypolita.

@takuy: They know better? Them trying to arbitrarily boil everything down to a 5 year timeline implies otherwise. Also I don't see anything inherentley wrong with them making this Donna Troy, actually seems pretty interesting to me. And it cleans up her otherwise ridiculously convoluted character history

I'm thrilled that it will be back but I'm worried whether the shows will actually continue past their current seasons...

I'm sure I'll get flamed for being a "grammar nazi" or something dumb like that but, "But why did he decided to wear read on when going back to his Nightwing persona?", I've been noticing a lot of mistakes in the articles lately and I usually hold my tongue on spelling and grammar mistakes here since for whatever reason people seem to be ok with it. But this is atrocious, seriously Mr."Editor in Chief"...

I haven't been keeping up like I should but isn't this basically what Justice League Of America is going to be? With Martian Manhunter as leader?

I have no problem with it, like pretty much everybody else said he's a good if not great actor. I just want to see how they write the character, I don't see him being the only villain in the movie either so I think what other villain they choose and the overall story will effect the performance as well.
