It is crazy that 2023 is almost over. Not looking forward to next year, though. Main reason is because it's Election Year, and crazy things always happen during US Presidential Election years.
I just remembered Tyson Fury vs Ngannou is this coming weekend. Anyone thing Ngannou actually stands a chance? I mean, he's getting a big payday and I'm happy for him for that reason, but I don't see him winning at all.
Crazy how Makhachev finished Volkanovski in the first round when the first fight was a back-and-forth five-round war. Funny thing is, Demetrious Johnson actually pointed it out in his pre-fight analysis. Either way, congrats to Makhachev and respect to Volkanovski for taking the short-notice fight.
Anyone watch that clown show boxing match last night between Logan Paul and Dillon Dannis? I didn't see it but apparently it ended because Dannis just straight up tried to go for a takedown and a guillotine and got DQ'd then a brawl broke out. I'm glad I didn't spend money to watch that because I heard the whole fight was terrible.
Charles Oliveira is injured and now Volkanovski is stepping in on short notice to face Makhachev. I'm excited these two are getting a rematch but disappointed that it's on a short notice.
