@nixnightbird: Seriously? Cosplay is part of the comic conventions. Has been for decades. I remember a Maggie Thompson article from Comic Buyer's Guide where her and her husband were costuming in the 1960s. There are lots of great panels at cons, people are packed in. I get tons of comics 70% off Sunday nights. I have not attended the Anaheim cons but I've been to many, including Wondercon Oakland.

As another said, you're not much fun at parties.
