Chapter 55 "I needed someone to let me know it'd be ok"
My name is Maya Lopez; a few years ago, I was overtaken by a powerful alter ego by the name of Lonestar; for whatever reason, she hated Andferne, she tried to kill him destroying the ICE Mansion in the process; I don’t remember any of it. He would die a few months later at the hands of Angelique Lebeau, I don’t remember when the last time I saw him with sanity intact. The people in the Asylum didn’t even allow me to attend his funeral. I needed a friend; I needed someone to let me know it’d be ok. IT took for Rina to create a judgement day; to free myself from the Asylum I thought I watched as a bomb killed my mother but I guess I was mistaken; she didn’t seem like herself though; she seemed distant from what she used to be. She told me and Sha that she was going into hiding for a while and to take care of our city. The Ice Dragons the family I had known went their separate Ways, the Thunder God simply disappeared. Paragon was nowhere to be found and Nobody aligned himself with Dark Child and joined the NAO. But what hurt me the most from my broken family was Hawk, one of my best friends, he decided to join William Greystroke and his misfits, in the Wolf Pack; becoming almost a totally different person in the process. As I was getting lonely…and depressed God, showed me the way straight to Kurrent; I myself had never met him before but Kurrent was a long time friend of Ziccarra; he welcomed me into Veritas Inc with open arms. Weird thing is a few months later we were at war with the Wolf Pack; I was in my Hotel room when I was attacked by Hosef Ramses, Hunter eventually saved me. It didn’t take long for Veritas to fold shortly after I joined; the heroes were meeting all of them to create this huge force that would forever end Evil. No one talked about it; My mom finally came out of hiding and she forbid me and Sha to attend; she went on our behalf, when she returned she told us we couldn’t join. She told us she’d take the spot of Sha in this thing called…The Champions of Peace. Me and Sha didn’t see eye to eye. She figured it was a good idea to honor Andferne; I thought it was corny; It made me pissed that the world wanted to come together now that my father was dead and in the ground. Weird things eventually began to happen. Sha for some reason ran off and became an Assassin; with Gambler; All I know is before I was adopted into this family, they were engaged, two days after I moved in the house. She almost destroyed the city because he called off the wedding. So the fact that she left to join him made to sense to me; Then my mother started acting weird; she enlisted a Chinese Women named Zing Xiao, or Y intercept as they was calling her, to do some work. With Sha gone, I finally got a chance to patrol Solace City as myself; while this was going on there was an event in France, where the gates of Asgard had been opened. I had a dream about it, well I thought it was a dream…it was a vision. The Hunter put Sha in a Coma; and my mother paid him to do so; supposedly she had been addicted to cocaine; which made sense.Chapter 78 "It was my team, My Dragons, My Omega Justice"
IT wasn’t long until the Champions of Peace were functional, using Sarah Lockhart, my old teacher from my Vine prodigy days, and a Kid name Jason whom was a member of the ICE Dragons, as leaders. Once they became a force, I quit, I simply gave up. I went back to doing what I loved; singing. I dropped a number one album; which eventually lead to a movie roll; I was to play…Sha. I hated it but like it at the same time; I hated it because they could have asked Sha to play Sha, but I liked it because it pissed her off. I amassed a small fortune for myself but I wasn’t ready to start being a hero again; I liked actually being a mom, I even adopted a son. People look at my 18 year old skin and forget the fact that this disease doesn’t age me. Then…something weird happened, people from all over began to live in fear, the world had been invaded by creatures known as Skrulls, My mom urged us to stay out of it; which wasn’t like her at all, something had changed in her. Sarah Lockhart was kidnapped, but I was told to do nothing, and like the powerless shrimp I was; I did nothing. The government began to question the COP’s though they asked us nothing, which was good because we never even seen it coming. What brought me out of retirement was Feral Nova; she flew into Solace City enraged one day and murdered almost 400 people in a ploy to flush out my sister; whom had retired after the whole Patrick Back incident. Sha was able to dispatch of Nova; through use of Chaos and I could tell it was becoming too much for her. Six Months later, my mother found a file; a file that stated that the government of the United States had secretly orchestrated several Catasphophies in an attempt to control population. It didn’t sit well and radicals like the Hunter, whose name I’ll probably continue to mention as this report continues, wanted to overthrow them; it lead to an uprising between the Loyalist and the Patriots; which lead to Solace City getting blown up; thanks to myself and some girl from the Children of the Damned. It was then I found that my mother was indeed a skrull; we being myself and Desiree locked her in a “Sha Jail, or Zone 6”.
But that was it, I finally decided to put my right foot forward in this hero business and become whom I was destined to be. I Liquidated my mother’s assets, L.O.V.E, New Ninjeta all of it, and made back and astounding 10 Billion; from that I had the Omega Haven built. Me and my good friend Avery discussed how the world should be policed. First I started with people I knew would help me. My good friend Nobody, whom had been a part of the Champions of Peace, decided he would help my cause, he was even brining his friend along Quantomman. Then Emile Chabot, whom we called “the Panther”, joined in as well and we were soon followed by Ms.Vespa and The Recon and that was it, I had my team, My Dragons…MY Omega Justice.
We went out on a mission to rescue Solace City, and afterwards I didn’t feel the same. Panther and Nobody felt the same way too; They quit…I quit… but this feeling of aborting wasn’t what I had, I felt like we were neglecting something. And we were the Streets; I then enlisted the Top Street Levelers around, My friend Sicily Boss to lead them, they would stay stationed in the Omega Justice Mansion, located in San Diego California. Composed of Sicily, Clue, Tessa and Raptorus I knew domestic, but huge problems were safe. It was only after learning about France, and I say this with a saddened heart, that I learned of my failures I put my money to work again, and with the help of the world most Lucrative geniuses, We created the O.S.S. I stationed myself there, along with Lightbright, The Abstract, and Cypher D, we're the relief team and can asist wherever needed.
I don’t remember what my father’s face looks like, but I remember what his dream was.
