Don't get me wrong, I think Spider-Man's new stealth costume is awesome! I just hope Spider-Man doesnt become like Iron Man, with a new suit for everyday of the week. I dont think I'm going to like Spider-Man's newest costume coming in Amazing Spider-Man. It doesn't look that cool. Why can't he just stick with the costumes he already has?
I hate zombies! Marvel created an alternate universe were most of the supers are zombies. DC Comics turned allot of their heroes into zombies during Blackest Night, calling them Black Lanterns. Frankly, I think that is just plan disgusting! Who wants to see their favorite heroes turned into undead heroes? I know I don't! I hate zombies! I think they are totally disgusting and unnatural! If any comic has anything to do with zombies I will not read it! I said it before and I'll say it again:
Should a superhero be on more then one team? I've read about superheroes from both DC and Marvel Comics who have been on two or more superhero teams at once. How do they find time to serve with or be part of both teams? It's crazy! It also leaves the problem of what to do when a hero is on a mission with one team, when he or she is called by the other team who also needs their help. So, what's a superhero to do? It must be confusing!
Should villians be allowed to take on the names of heroes? Moonstone took on the alias of Ms.Marvel for awhile. Yelena Belova took on the alias of the Black Widow. These are just two examples of villians who have taken on the names of heroes. Should villians take on the name of heroes? I don't think so! This could ruin the reputation of the hero who's name has been taken.
The host for the Venom symbiote has been changed so many times you hardly know who Venom is anymore. Now the writers are changing who Carnage is. They should just stick to the originals and stop jumping them from host to host. I can live with the Lasher symbiote getting a new host because he is fairly new at this. But as for Venom and Carnage, choose a host and stick with it!
Arachne used to be a really awesome character. She was hot, and she had awesome spider-powers. Now after the Grim Hunt story arc, with her gaining Madame Webb's powers and all, she has become the new Madame Webb. This has caused her to be dull and boring. She's not even hot anymore!
DC Comics has had allot of love triangles in the works lately. For example, Kyle Ragner has been in a relationship with Green Lantern, Soranik Natu, when his previous girlfriend, Jade, is brought back to life in the "Brightest Day" story arc. So, what will he do now? Another example is Hal Jordan and his relationship with Arisia, and his relationship with Carol Ferris. Don't even get me started on the whole Nightwing-Oracle-Starfire thing. When they do something like this, sure they add drama, but they're also putting fans in a bind as well because they can't decide which character is better for whom. If they want a particular character to be with someone they should just stick with it; like Superman and Lois Lane.
