Oh man this is so weird... But I'm so down with it.

This is not a direction I'd ever see Peter going. It feels like a continuation of Superior, just without all the torture and villainy

Outside of some costuming gripes (Many characters just shopping at Target for their superhero duds), and a couple stinker episodes (the one with the bee girl. Ugh) the first season was pretty fantastic. A lot of great humor.

Joe and his relationship with Barry are a highlight, and Cisco really is the thing that most embodies the differences between Flash and Arrow. Cisco is amazing.

I loved 2099 back in the 90's and placing him in a contemporary setting with all the other spider characters just wasn't as fun as having him evade the cops gliding between mega skyscrapers and such.

I just really wish they'd put him in the future where he belongs

EDIT: unless he went back to 2099 after secret wars... I realized I'm out of the loop so maybe I'm just wrong and should be picking this up

Adam Warlock looks like he's wearing Bacon as a scarf :D

This book actually looks really cool. Like the character designs a lot.

When I look at the other covers, and I mean this as no disrespect to very talented artists, it really reinforces to me that Staples' was definitely the best choice for this book.

Love the look. I think her Archie perfectly walks that tightrope between "some guy" and "cool kid". Super good stuff. Loved issue one, so very excited for more.

i give it to DD.

His fight with Bruiser in Waid's run sort of convinced me of his uncanny ability to find a chink in the armor, and the tube gushing loud liquid into his spine is a far more noticeable flaw than some creaky joints.

It would likely be a hard fought victory, Bane is no slouch... But I think DD scrapes by with this
