Women of The Comic-Verse.

I'll do other such lists for my favorite 'Male' characters as well, but this is strictly for the Females that I am currently obsessed with and such. I am mixing DC and MARVEL universes here, so if you're one of those 'NO DC / NO MARVEL' people, than you shouldn't be looking at this. (yes there are people like that out there...) Anyways, I'm a fan of both DC and MARVEL- both are amazing and have created awe-striking worlds.

List items

  • I know that she is pretty much a Slut, but I love Emma dearly. I always end up feeling bad for her, where Scott and Jean are concerned, and otherwise she is pretty much kick-ass. Not only a very talented Telepath, she also has a 'Diamond-Form' that gives her a edge in hand-to-hand combat..

  • Kitty Pryde, you have to love this character. She is pretty much hilarious, and can 'Phase' through solid objects/people without doing any damage. I know she mixes bad with Emma Frost, with their past (Emma tried to force Kitty into the Hellfire Club) But they have pretty much put that in the past, and even work on the same team now.

  • Huntress. I'm so glad she didn't end up being the official Batgirl. She fits in, yet doesn't fit in, with the rest of the 'Bat' family. Personally, I like her brutality toward criminals and I think it is well deserved. Her fighting skills alone prove that she has earned her title, and yet she did it without any help from 'Bruce Wayne' or 'Batman'.

  • Hahaha. I love how utterly messed up Mystique is. If you've ever visited her page, you can see just how long she has been alive, and how long her history is. I've read all of it, because this character is THAT amazing and interesting. Back-stabbing, she does things for herself and pretty much leaves everyone else to die. She's very talented at lying, and using people, plus her ability to change appearance? Hahaha.

  • Lorna Dane! Yay! This character is like someone I've always wanted to be. Magneto's powers, yet she see's the good in Humans that her 'adopted' father never could. Her whole look, and the fact that it matches the look of her abilities so well, has always stunned me. Polaris is one of those characters that I don't read much of, but whenever I do I'm like 'Why don't I do this more often?'

  • ...Probably my favorite DC character ever, I'm literally in love with Cassandra Cain. Her personality that is so like Batmans, yet with that edge of brutality that Huntress has, the willingness to work with others that Dick has, and she's not as mean as Bruce either... I especially love her relationship with Stephanie Brown (Spoiler), and both of their separate determination.

  • HARLEY! (enter FANGIRL SQUEAL here) She's just such a love-able character, even though she scares me at the same time. From loving her 'Puddin' to skinning a man alive, she is very much insane, yet she still has the ability to be a great Therapist. Post-reboot, pre-reboot, Arkham City, Batman Animation, I will always look for and love Harley Quinn.

  • The Queen on the Tamaran race, and Starfire's older sister, Komand'r is such an awesome character. Her strength is brilliant, and she's been in war multiple times, showing the strength of her world and their army. All in which she practically built.

  • Honestly, I think that Sage's powers are the most fascinating ones ever. I'm extremely interested, but really haven't learned to much about her besides what I've read in one or two comics. Not only do I like her powers, but her personality always seems to make me laugh, for some odd reason.

  • She's such an adorable character! From her pink hair to her multi-colored wings. Again, I haven't studied up on her enough to know all about her abilities, but from what I've read she's funny and can still handle herself well in battle. I approve.

  • This character's powers are so complex! Scarlet Witch has intrigued me since I saw her in 'X-men Evolution'. The fact that she was a villain, and then she works alongside the Avengers? Plus, Mutant. I don't really see mutants and avengers mixing, but her and her brother (Pietro/Quicksilver) blend well.

  • I have mixed feelings about what they did with Rogue and Ms. Marvel... I sorta like the almost human aspect that Rogue had before she could fly, had super strength, etc. She had to rely on her own physical abilities, and teamwork until she could leach something off of another Mutant.

  • She's basically a Vampire/Mutant, how could I not like that? I adore her abilities, and find it funny that her and Emma have such a strange relationship, when really, they aren't that different. Maybe you'll disagree. I love her roll as 'The Black Queen' and how she sorta took the #1 spot in the Hellfire Club (female wise) when Emma ditched.

  • Her abilities are just amazing! I also love her relationship with the other 'Hellions' and with X-23. I feel like she could either be mean, or nice, she has the personality that works well with most other characters, and I really wish her and Rockslide would give dating a shot... (unless they have and i don't know it)

  • She's one of the characters that I read about, watch, or see, and my jaw just drops at how utterly epic she was. Even more so when she has really no 'power', besides her healing factor. She is kick-ass with just Claws and possibly a few gadgets.

  • Laurie is probably my favorite when it comes to the (new) New Mutants. Closely followed by Icarus. Anyways, her powers are something that I've always envied, but I know if I had them I would use them in all the wrong ways. Which just makes me feel that she is an extremely strong character.

  • I honestly thought that the New Mutants were way to hard on her as a Leader by herself, but I like the team-up between her and David (prodigy)so, haha. Her relationship with Hellion is weird, because I really don't like Julian myself, but I respect her powers and hopes for the team.

  • Well I'm just on a role with all these New Mutant characters. Haha. Noriko, not only do I adore her name, but I love her 'who-gives-a-****' kind of personality. I feel bad for Dust (while they're roommates) but Surge had me when I first saw her blue hair.
