If they have a Mothership, the predators could destroy Barad Dur and Sauron from orbit which would just leave Voldemort to lead the armies. The Predators alone could devastate Orc armies using their Plasma Caster. But that is not how Predators operate. They would want to take Sauron on directly to prove themselves.

I suspect a direct assault by the Predators on Barad-dûr would fail. The Predators could easily land on the ceiling then fight their way through Saurons underlings in search of the main prize. They probably would not be troubled much by Orcs, the trolls would be more challenging which would buy Sauron enough time to escape. Voldemort certainly has a role to play, and his impact depends on his ability to detect cloaked Predators. If he knows where they are then a combination of casting the killing curse and teleportation could result in quite a few dead predators, but I suspect he would not stick around once the assault begins.

The Nazgul would be needed to lead the armies against the hives. A lot of Orcs and trolls would die trying to take the hives but I suspect on average a couple of trolls would bring down a Xenomorph. I suppose once the queen is found, Lord Voldemort could Teleport in and finish her off with a killing curse. So any known hive could be defeated. The predators could relocate the queens to safe locations and let them breed up, but these not much which escapes his glaze. I suspect Saurons overwhelming numbers would bring him victory.

So.... if the Predators were serious and use their plasma weapons they would win. If the Predators are arrogant and use only their blades these a good chance Saurons forces would prevail. If Voldemort killing curse fails to work on the queens things could be more interesting but even then I suspect a few dozen trolls could overwhelm even a .queen.

Edit: I just read Queen mothers are quite a bit more powerful then Queens... with their powerful telepathic abilities they could likely turn Saurons armies against each other. The Trolls and Orcs might be tied directly to the will of Sauron so they might stay loyal. But his large armies of men would be susceptible and might full under the influence of the Queen mothers. Although, if Sauron is aware of their ability, he would simply keep his army of men far away. Although that only leaves the Orc, Trolls and wargs to do the fighting.

Link needs more of his items to stand a chance. Also batman should have no prep and it might be a closer fight.

I don't think Sauron ever had more then a million troops at anyone time. But I assume he has all of his troops from any time.. Does that include the armies and fleet of Ar-Pharazôn?

Also are they meeting face to face on the battle field, or are the alien hives spread across Mordor?

Are all of Saurons forces stationed in Mordor, or does he have to call in reinforcements from from across Middle Earth?

How long does the ammunition of the Predators last?

I doubt the infantry and Orcs in Saurons army have the fire power to hurt the Xenomorphs. So it really up to the trolls and crushing by the Oliphaunts and Catapults. The fell beasts might also be able to lift and drop a few of the drones. But to defeat the hive, you have to go underground so it really the hive vs the trolls with backup of the 4 Nazgul and Voldemort. . I suspect the Nazgul greatest weapon their fear would be ineffective against the Aliens and probably the predators. I suspect the Nazgul would remain out of the hives using their fear to drive their troops underground. Sauron has proven lacking on the battle field so I doubt he would enter the battle himself until all hope is lost. I suspect the Nazgul greatest weapon their fear would be ineffective against the Aliens and probably the predators. So the aliens would win.

Smaug or any of the fire dracks could turn the tables against the Alines (predators could cause a problem), but they are the creatures of Morgoth and not loyal to Sauron.

But Sauron is smart, and a master of deception. I assume we are using Saurons most powerful form, so he could morph into a fair form and enter negotiations with the Predators. The Predators and Aliens are natural enemies so I suspect Sauron has a good chance of breaking their alliance and getting them to change sides. So together they would deal with the Aliens. Then the predators would be betrayed. But the Predators have full knowledge, so they would be aware of Saurons tricks so would be less trusting.

How long does it take her to lay eggs and raise Young. If she landed somewhere remote then I think she has a chance of raising a hive before getting noticed.

I suspect landing in Los Angeles she would be seen and monitored quite quickly. Her 'nest' would be quarantined, but she probably would be destroyed at the first signs of hostilities. There would probably be attempts to capture her, but that is unlikely to succeed even more so if she hides underground. If she survives long enough to lay eggs then they would be taken for research.

Glorfindel did not say it was impossible that a Man would kill Witch King, but knew that it would not be a Man that did so. If Dumbledore could cast a spell or charm to break the magic keeping the Nazgul alive then any simple attack should be able to finish him off.

Not enough evidence to say. On the one hand, he is the creator of his entire universe. On the other hand, his universe could theoretically be smaller than the multiverses that the others live in, and thus creating it may not take as much power as (some of) the others have expended in their various feats.

Exactly my thoughts......besides Middle earth and the "planet" or island or whatever it is that the valar live on we know nothing about the LotR-verse....maybe there is even more and that feat wouldn´t be greater then what Franklin Richards did during heroes reborn....so up until now Eru looses all rounds.

We do know a bit about the rest of the universe, the stars were created by the vala Varda. She created the first stars before the Ainur entered into the world. She later brightened them with light captured from the Two Trees. The Two Trees were created by Yavanna, and they were the main source of light for Arda before they were destroyed in a attack lead by Morgoth. The last fruits from the dieing trees were encased in a vessels created by Aule and each are lead through the sky by a Maia. They become the Sun and the Moon.

Also one of the brightest star in the sky is a Silmarils. The Silmarils were three brilliant jewels crafted by the elf Feanor using the purest of light captured from the Two Trees. So basically a jewel which was small enough for someone to hold become a Star.

To summarize, the Valar created the Moon, Sun and Stars.

With regards to Arda itself, initially the Valar lived in middle earth, they then created another continent called Aman which was part of Arda. At the end of the second age, due to the treason of Númenor Eru removed that continent from the world. At the same time he made the world round (it was flat beforehand)... Although a flat path still remains which allows the elves to sail to Aman. Sometimes mortal mariners would stray onto the straight path and catch a glimpse of the blessed realm. .

]Saruman wasn't kicked by anyone except Gandalf...he lost his army and power during Two Towers arch and was literally surrounded by Gandalf and his group....he has no power by that time, the few pitiful attempts left Gandalf thwarted off like nothing...and again Gandalf owned him from miles and miles away via his power, while freeing the King that is power. Talk to me when dummydore has done anything like such. Exactly, Gandalf did so AFTER Saruman attacked him which did nothing to Gandalf what so ever, thus without even trying he busted Saruman's staff...again, feats from the books were better then on screen, which was still cool but the books give you a better clue as to how powerful the wizards are.

When did Saruman attack Gandalf, never happened, or if it did it was never described.

It was Wormtounge and not Saruman who was controlling Théoden. Although Wormtounge was under Sarumans influence, but Gandalf was unable to free him. Although a combination between Sarumans abuse and the words from the hobbits did allow Wormtounge to break free of the control...

The snapping of Sarumans staff was symbolic, stripping him of his authority to act in middle earth. Without that 'authority' his ability to act and influence others was greatly weaken but his inate powers remained.

I might add and Gandalf in general is a Mair he's an immortal entity created by Eru...Dumbledore can't hold a lick to Gandalf's power...

Gandalf only has the power which Eru gave him, he could of been insanely powerful but Eru did not make him or the other Maiar in that fashion. Just look at the 'deaths' of other Maiar. Gothmog died with a spiked helmet shoved through his chest, Glorfindel killed a Balrog by throwing it off a mountainside, Gandalf killed Durins bane in the same fashion, Saruman died when Wormtounge slit his throat, Sauron was killed several times, once by devine intervention and again by spear and sword blows. The Maiar might of had devine origins but they are not insanely powerful beings.

I made one final point, the Balrog which Gandalf killed was a coward. It fled and hid rather then to fight in the War of Wrath. Then it spent thousands of years hiding deep underground. It eventually was disturbed by the dwarves, who it went on to defeat but the Balrog still was not prepared to return to the surface and remained in hiding. It did have the confidence to fight against Gandalf and the fellowship, maybe the lure of gaining the ring of power overcome its fear. But after falling from the bridge, the Balrog spent days running from Gandalf and trying to escape. So I have the impression that the Balrog which Gandalf defeated was one of the weaker maiar to begin with.

Here is the comment which Aragorn made about Gimli axe work

""If he wins back to the caves, he will pass your count again,' laughed Aragorn. 'Never did I see an axe so wielded'

and his commented on the hill men being to large.

'I followed you to shake off sleep,' said Gimli; 'but I looked on the hillmen and they seemed over large for me, so I sat beside a stone to see your sword-play'

Gimli has better amour then Aragorn, somewhere in the book Aragorn commented thats Gimli's axemanship was the best he has seen (or among the best he seen?).

Aragorn was without doubt a skilled and experienced fighter and has a reach advantage. During the raid on Helms deep Gimli was reluctant to fight the tall wild men preferring to face off against the Orcs.

I think Gimli might be the more skilled fighter (it would be close) but I think the physique advantage would give Aragorn the majority of wins. Put them in a narrow passage then Gilmi would take the Majority.

Movie, Aragorn wins easily.
