Death of Jean De Wolfe was a great story line - and she actually stayed dead!

I'm not interested what other people think. Comic collecting is one of my hobbies and I won't apologize to anyone for it being so - nor do I see why I should have to.

Yes they do - despite the fact that DC have 3 of the top 4 selling titles this month (and JLA #1 heavily skewing the figures), by my calculation Marvel sold 378,700 more comics than DC. That's counting the top 50 titles only.

DC needs better heroes that aren't in the JLA.

If they are going to stick with 52 titles and also want to challenge Marvel at the same time, then they need to discover / develop more popular characters and titles. They can't just flood the market with yet more Batman / Superman / GL / JLA books either. We have seen this month how having several titles has possibly affected Avengers sales - and it has happened to other characters (Deadpool springs to mind) before.

@lightsout:Well I mean compared to most others she's closest, like for example why they chose her in the new JLA series to match against him.

I think that is one of the mis-matches in the JLA against the JL. The theory seemed to be that Catwoman could also play on Batman's emotions, but for me Batman can detach himself from all emotion to get the job done.

People buying JLA and Justice League should be ashamed of themselves.

Why? I'm not saying you're not entitled to hold the opinion you quote, but can you give any reasons why you feel this way? You don't like the concept of the League, or the stories or artwork aren't what you expected? Can you give some constructive criticism of the books to back up your argument?

Four of my books didn't do very well. 148. Stormwatch 13,657 149. Demon Knights 13,571 161. Deathstroke 12,626 167. Savage Hawkman 12,376 The good news is Green Arrow which was at #100 and sold 19,888 copies in January improved to #49 and sold 36,043 copies in February.

I think the first 4 books you mention have been cancelled anyway. What amazes me is how Batwing keeps going with sales between 12 and 13 thousand - less than some of those 4 books

Seems like a pretty disappointing start for Katana and Vibe. 27,000 for a first issue is lower than any of the original New 52 #1s. Maybe people were right in thinking they wouldn't sell well.

Neither of these issues were particularly good IMO - I was really disappointed with the Katana issue, and although I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the story in Vibe, I don't think either book will last long

Comic book deaths should always be permanent. I'm sick and tired of the boring sales gimmick that kills a character off only for them to be brought back 6 months later. If you are going to kill a character - DC or Marvel - have the balls to stick to your decision and create new characters instead.
