Well you hit on everything that is wrong with Bay's vision. Not much more to say. Anyone seen Imaginationland trilogy from South Park? Bay's skills are summed up quite well. Props to anyone who knows what I'm talking about

The chase is always better than the catch. The journey is always better than the destination.

Its almost inspiring to see a superhero overcome seemingly impossible odds and win. In theory, and sometimes in practice, its fun to see a hero get their ass kicked and lose or even die, but everybody secretly cheers when they see they're favorite hero win for the thousandth time

Pretty sure I commented that Danai Gurira would be Michonne in the Walking Dead 2x13 recap!

I personally think this is a great casting choice. People who appear in HBO shows can just plain act, so I have no worries about her acting chops. Plus Gurira looks about as close as a real-life counterpart could for Michonne.

Nice. And im so glad they are finally putting the steel into Andrea's Character. Shes hardcore in the comic, but the show was making her all talk. Nice to see that bite! AND CARL! :)

stoked for next season

I agree about Andrea. In my mind she's Rick's true number 2, at least since Tyreese bit the dust, so I'd love to see her develop into even more of a badass in the show. Michonne almost shouldn't have had to save Andrea in the forest!

Very excited to see an HBO vet take on the role of Michonne. She is the ultimate bad ass in the comics, and I'm thinking Danai Gurira will do her justice.

Very excited to see David Morrisey as the Governor next year. I heard Rooker had to lose 20 pounds for next season. Governor's prisoner? I heard season 3 has 16 episodes so I'm hoping they run through all the prison stuff next season. Theres lots of good material from the 30 issues or so they spent in the prison, and it could make for an action packed season. I wanna see the Governor taking over the prison at the end of this season. Don't drag it out

Jesus H. Christ I'm excited!!!

DCs Captain Marvel >>>> Marvels Captain Marvel. Would've been fun to see DC and Marvel bring back characters called Captain Marvel at about the same time. Too bad DC changed his name to Shazam

Definitely gotta start turning better story arcs into animated films, or give some other characters the spotlight. I realize a movie starring the Flash or Green Arrow might not be as healthy for the bottom line as a movie starring Supes or Bats, but give the fans what they want! We all know those type of characters will never be seen on the big screen, so why not give them their due on the small, animated screen?

No chance for Extremis being the main focus in IM3. Too hard to adapt to the big-screen, and an audience that includes non-comic readers, would not buy the idea.

I think they should go down Tony's dark road a little bit. The alcoholic Tony. Lord knows they'll probably make an Iron Man 4 just to make money, so why not have 3 deal with Tony's demons? I think its a good storyline that is very adaptable and a large audience will relate with. So many superhero movies lack a human side

Its really too bad that they couldn't reveal the "you become a zombie no matter how you die" twist the way they did in the comics. That way was much more entertaining and I feel they kind of wasted an opportunity.

Overall a pretty good episode. While the show will never be as good as the comics, it has really picked up the last few episodes and I can't wait to see the season finale and the Governor next season!

Part of the appeal of Batman: Year One (aside from it being one of the greatest stories ever told) was that the art and colors were so... Batman. Shiny paper and re-coloring are completely unnecessary. The story and art are timeless. Good on Mazzucchelli for speaking his mind and bringing this to light

Hardly, the story is rather dated.

I have to respectfully disagree. So many other DC heroes have had their origins told and retold since 1986, but Batman hasn't. He didn't get an update in the new 52 for a reason. His origin was already told perfectly and can't really be topped
