Variety reports that Guy Pearce, who we all know and love from such films as Memento and L.A. Confidential, has joined the cast of Iron Man 3 and will apparently play Aldrich Killian. By all accounts it appears as if the Extremis armor will be making an appearance if Pearce will indeed be playing Killian. Thoughts? Concerns? Excitement?

While I applauded DC for the launch of the new 52 and everything, I can't help but feel a little disappointed at some of these changes. So now we're supposed to scrap all the stories of the past 25 years that saw other members of the league involved and what have you? How can you do that? I get trying to attract new readers and increase sales but this seems like a big cash grab (which it is) and I feel like they're not even considering faithful readers and their links to these characters, stories, and teams.

Martian Manhunter has been the most steady member of the team for as long as I've been reading comics and now he's never been on the team? I can't believe that. Hal and Ollie never had their team-ups? The Green Arrow/Green Lantern team-ups are some of the most iconic in DC's history aside from Batman/Superman

Not to mention the confusion between titles. So did Final Crisis happen, did Bruce "die", did Dick take over the cowl and join the Justice League or not? It seems like little has changed in Batman titles, but in Justice League its the complete opposite. Between all these liberties DC is taking and the countless and meaningless events Marvel seems to do once a month, comics are starting to piss me off. Maybe I'm missing somethings but that's where I'm at. Thank god for The Walking Dead and Invincible and a few other titles

Very excited for the upcoming Batman arc. Scott Snyder has been doing an amazing job writing the Dark Knight. Gotta pick up Walking Dead too. Not a better title on the market

Seems like you almost have to have Mandarin in an Iron Man film. Its almost like not having Red Skull in a Cap movie, or not having Joker in a Batman film. Just needs to be done

Skrulls? Dire wraiths? Kree? who?

Chitauri. Less cool Ultimate version of the Skrulls basically.

You know Marvel has really done something special. The mere fact that 6 heroes played by well-known actors coming together in one film is just crazy. Never thought I'd see the day

That Rorschach cover is way too deadly. Still can't believe they're writing a prequel though. Seems like a money grab

C'mon CV community, we should be able to figure out who those bad guys are! I've heard rumors they are called "The Redacted", and that Thanos will be making an appearance. Can anybody confirm or deny this?

Can't remember the title of the arc, but there was a Batman story with Bane being Ra's Al Ghul's puppet, one of the first appearances of Bane after Knightfall (I could be mistaken). Wouldn't be surprised if Bane was just a pawn in the movie. Whichever way they choose to incorporate Neeson as Ra's will be fine by me

I'm mad i just now noticed this but Loki is Tebowing in that pic lol

Too funny. I guess this means the Avengers will lose in this movie. After all, Tebowing guarantees victory
