The Uncanny X-Men are a superhero team of mutants that were founded by fellow mutant Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.

  • The Adversary is a mystical demon from another dimension, who was initially summoned by the X-Men member Forge several decades ago and has since come back to antagonize the X-Men and threaten the entire world.

  • Apocalypse is one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel universe, possessing a multitude of superhuman abilities, including almost unsurpassed strength, invulnerability and the ability to both shift and alter his mass and form. His quest for mutant domination of earth puts him at odds with the X-Men.

  • Arcade once was contracted to kill the X-Men in "Murderworld", but this attempt resulted in failure.

  • Bloodthirsty member of the Marauders, who battled X-Men during the "Mutant Massacre".

  • Former member of Magneto's original Brotherhood. She later attempted to gain revenge on him for unspecified reasons by creating a clone of Magneto named Joesph.

  • An enemy of the X-Men and former member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and Freedom Force. Avalanche has the ability to create vibratory waves that affects inorganic matter. He often uses his power to affect the earth.

  • Boatman who develops a loathing for the X-Men after a ship he rents to them is destroyed by Magneto. He ends up later killed by Proteus.

  • Barbarus is a quad-armed mutant with super strength and one of The Savage Land Mutates.

  • Bastion was created when Nimrod and Master Mold were fused inside the Siege Perilous. Bastion has super strength, can fly, and project energy from his hands and eyes. He can regenerate himself even when most of his body is destroyed or absent, and can create new sentinels in his image by infecting normal humans with nanobots. Bastion hates mutants and has fought the X-Men on several occasions.

  • Belasco once drew the X-Men to Limbo for unknown reasons and battled them. They all managed to escape save the seven-year-old Illyana Rasputin, whom he made his apprentice. He shaped part of her soul into a Bloodstone, giving her great potential for power and allowing him to control her. However, upon reaching the age of fourteen, she rebelled against him, driving him from Limbo. Now its new master, she returned to her own world only seconds after the X-Men had returned, and shortly after joined the New Mutants as Magik. Magik was later deposed as the ruler of Limbo by the demons S'ym and N'Astirh, the latter of whom was destroyed, and also restored Illyana's lost childhood. Later Belasco and his allies, the N'Garai demons, fought the X-Men again soon after, but were defeated by the X-Men with the assistance of the new Magik, who revealed herself to be Amanda Sefton.

  • Two men have taked the identity of Bird-Man and has served as a member of the Ani-Men.

  • The X-Men initially clashed with Tom and Juggernaut at Cassidy Keep. He and Juggernaut were involved in many schemes. On one occasion Juggernaut sought to share his power with Tom, in essence creating two Juggernaut-like beings. He was defeated in a duel by Banshee. Black Tom and Juggernaut next hired Arcade to kill the X-Men. Later the X-Men encountered Tom as part of the Brotherhood, when he had become fully plantlike. Tom Cassidy then was defeated again.

  • Blastaar was able to beat the five original X-Men (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Beast, and Angel) back when they were all young and starting out. The X-Men then accidently released Blastaar from the Negative Zone when their atomic generator machine malfunctioned.

  • Blob being a member of Freedom Force and Brotherhood of Evil Mutants has clashed with the X-Men on numerous occasions. Most notable battles with the X-Men took place during the Fall of the Mutants.

  • Blockbuster is the super-strong member of the Marauders who has died in battle, yet has returned thanks to Mr. Sinister's cloning techniques.

  • Bolivar Trask was the creator of the Sentinels.

  • A member of the Reavers who originally served as the team's leader. His lower body is comprised of a heavily armed chassis with tank treads.

  • Angel's jealous college roommate who later had his wings amputated. Archangel decapitated Hodge, who survived thanks to a pact with N'astirh. Hodge later became a cyborg and a part of the Phalanx

  • Cassandra Nova is the twin sister of Charles Xavier. Her hatred and resentment of Xavier has caused her to become an enemy not only of the X-Men, but of all of mutant kind.

  • Two men have taken the identity of Cat-Man and were members of the Ani-Men.

  • Celeste's mother and head of G.O.O.D.

  • Ralph Roberts, the Cobalt Man, is a disgruntled former Stark Enterprises employee. He created a duplication of the Iron Man armor out of cobalt.

  • Ho, Sun, Chang, Lin, and Han Tao-Yu are five Chinese quintuplets and mutants that can merge into a single powerful being, and draw strength from all the people in China.

  • Count Nefaria and his gang captured members of the X-Men while he also planned to capture the entire district of Columbia.

  • Crux is a synthetic copy of the mutant known as Cristal Lemiuex, created by Cerebro. She was a member of Cerebro's X-Men.

  • Colony is a sentient hive-minded bug colony, and a member of the Shi'ar Death Commandos. It infests it's enemy, and devours their flesh.

  • A member of Mikhail's personal guard who grew up on the hill and fought Storm.

  • Cactus is a humanoid cactus plant created by Dominus. He attacks with his sharp needles and has the ability to regenerate certain body parts.

  • Bloody Bess is a member of the Crimson Pirates.

  • Sea Dog is a memeber of Crimson Pirates.

  • Sanguine is a member of the Goth. He could augment his own abilities by draining "blood essence" from others to weaken them.

  • Beldame is a member of the Goth.

  • Wanderer is a member of The Goth.

  • The Goth is a figure in charge of various inter-dimensional slave-trading groups such as the Goth (the team) and the Crimson Pirates.

  • A Marvel Villain, whom fought against the Avengers.

  • Butte is a superstrong female made out of stone and was created by Dominus along with Cactus, Gila and Sunstroke.

  • Gila is a humanoid gila monster created by Dominus.

  • Former soldier with the US Army, Timeshadow developed his mutant powers later in life and went on to become a member of Apocalypse's Alliance of Evil.

  • Gorgeous George is a mutant and member of Sinister's Nasty Boys. He can reshape the mass of his tar-like body, as well as vary his size.

  • Porous was a mutant in Valle Soleada, California. He would use his powers to harass normal humans with his friends Cutter and Dervish.

  • Former ruler of the Shi'ar Empire and brother to both Lilandra and Deathbird.

  • Danger is the now-sentient control computer for the Danger Room. She blames Charles Xavier for keeping her imprisoned despite her gaining self awareness. Her knowledge of and experience with training the X-Men give her a thorough understanding of each of their strengths as well as their weaknesses.

  • Deathbird is the evil sister of Lilandra. She constantly seeks to steal her sisters throne and become the empress of the Shi'ar empire.

  • Victor Von Doom is the ruler of Latveria and the arch-nemesis of Reed Richards, his one time colleague. The X-Men are a super group in the Marvel universe that center around Charles Xavier and his school for mutants. Key characters include Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Xavier, and Wolverine.

  • Donald Pierce is a cyborg with superhuman strength. Aside from being nearly all cyborg he is still a genius in robotics, cybernetics, and electronics.

  • Francois LeBlanc was the first Frog-Man and an original member of the Ani-Men. He is a batrachanthrope (Were-Frog) or frog/human hybrid.

  • Ares is the son of Zeus and the Olympian God of War. After years of fighting against The Avengers, Thor, and mostly his own brother Hercules, Ares joined the ranks of the Avengers. He was a member of Tony Stark's official Avengers team and later Norman Osborn's Avengers.

  • After mutant riots break out in San Francisco, Norman Osborn turns his attention to the mutant "problem". First he has Charles Xavier and Beast arrested and put in holding cells. He then, after creating his own team of avengers, creates his own team of X-Men. During an encounter between X-Force, and the Dark X-Men, Emma and Namor show their true colors by taking out Daken and Mimic. When Osborn hears news of this, he is outraged, and promises he will kill Cyclops himself. During an ensuing battle on a far away mutant island called Utopia, Osborn and his allies tries to kill X-Men. Osborn engages Cyclops, and easily takes him down. However, instead of eliminating Scott, he takes the time to taunt the X-Leader. Before Osborn can finally move in for the kill, he sees the Sentry fly into space being pursued by the Void, and Moonstar taking down Ares. He begins to panic while Moonstone tells him they need to kill the X-Men to escape. Unfortunately for Norman, there are too many of them and he is forced to fall back with his Avengers and X-Men.

  • Dr. Karla Sofen is a founding member of the Thunderbolts and former member of the Masters of Evil. She has flirted with both sides of the law in Norman Osborn's Avengers as Ms. Marvel. She's a control freak with nearly limitless power granted her by moonstones, hence her codename.

  • Under Doctor Doom's orders, Titania fought the Thor, X-Men and She-Hulk during the Secret Wars.

  • Alongside with Dark Avengers Bullseye took part in attack against X-Men in Utopia, where Lester battled against the Angel.

  • As part of the Neo, Rax attacked Remy to gain ranks within the Neo clan. He chose to battle Remy during the awaiting of the results of the Vote of No-Confidence. Despite the interference of the Unified Thieves Guild stepping in, the Neo saw the fight as a win in Rax's favor, and his rank was raised.

  • Elysia is a member of the Warclan of the Neo. She is a powerful empath and illusionist. Along with these unique powers, she also has heightened strength, invulnerability, intelligence, and stamina as she is a member of the Neo. She is currently deceased.

  • A member of the Neo, Anteus is the powerhouse of the clan. He gets stronger the more in contact he is with the earth and the environment.

  • Converts his body into a state of liquid bio-metal that he can shape into projectile guns that draw ammunition from his body.
