Powerful Las Vegas gangster who claimed Wolverine was one of his hired thugs. Gold dispatched his son and Wolverine to kill a man for seemingly no reason. Wolverine tired to mediate the situation, but Gold's son attacked the man's wife and Wolverine lost control of himself, killing Gold's son, the man and his wife. Later Mickey Gold confronted Wolverine about the truth, and that he used Logan to try and get “Frank Castle”. Mickey Gold then unsheathed his own Adamantium claws and wanted to inflict the same pain to Logan as he did, when he killed his son. However Logan unsheathed his Adamantium claws, killing Mickey Gold and then his henchmen.

When the Phoenix Force approached Earth, the Shi’ar Death Commandos (Colony, Flaw, Krait, Offset, Shell) were sent to kill its host and stop all who stood in their way. The Commandos crashed Wolverine's ship and attacked Hope Summers. Hope held off Krait and Offset, then Flaw impaled her while Colony held off Wolverine. She then manifested part of the Phoenix Force, knocked out all five of the Commandos, and healed herself. The Commandoes revived and joined Gladiator in the battle against the X-Men. Marvel Girl savagely held them off.

He was eventually stopped by Wolverine and other X-Men he has previously had under mind control by Calcabrina.

Heatwave (under Mephisto's influence), set himself up as mayor of Top Cow's New York, working alongside Earth-616's Zoe Culloden, who was also under Mephisto's influence. They made plans for "all who have received his unholy communion to descend in rapturous ignition into his lake of refining fire." Wolverine arrived on "Earth-Top Cow" via one of Landau, Luckman, & Lake's warp chambers. He joined forces with Ballistic to oppose Heatwave and to rescue Zoe. Ballistic and Wolverine battled Zoe and Heatwave, respectively, and Ballistic pushed Zoe over the pain threshold that broke Mephisto's control over her. However, as the clock struck midnight, Heatwave and the people on the streets of New York vanished to Mephisto's realm on that world. Mephisto next targeted Witchblade.

Wolverine slew Corey, Draft and Cale from Kether Troop. They encountered Wolverine, causing Colonel Liger to recall that they were on the downside of a time-loop; years before, in Madripoor, Liger had encountered Wolverine, who attacked him and told him that three of his agents would die. Unwilling to alter history, Liger allowed the prophecy to come true.
Plantman once had his plants capture Wolverine. Plantman convinced alien Sssesthugar of the H'ylthri to work to brainwash Wolverine into being their slave, even though Wolverine had been able to resist their interrogation. After spending time brainwashing Wolverine, Plantman tested the hero against a plant simulacrum, and Wolverine triumphed, completely under Sssesthugar's control.
Sssessthugar once plotted revenge against human residents of K'un-Lunwith co-conspirator Plant Man. The two planned to open a portal to the H'ylthri and infest and overtake the world. When Wolverine investigated, the two defeated the X-Man and eventually brainwashed him with an organic take over of his body. Logan was then used to subdue the Submariner, who was also investigating unusual occurances taking place at Samuel Smithers New Jersey home. In a rage, Wolverine killed Sssesthugar and all of his H'yltri allies with his claws.
During the period when the Super-Skrull was lost in hyper-space, an apparent Super-Skrull - impostor kidnapped the Wolverine and Kitty Pryde in order for Skrull scientists to learn more about mutants for a future invasion plan. Taken aboard a Skrull vessel, both Kitty and Wolverine broke free and with the help of Captain Marvel defeated this seeming Super-Skrull impostor and were returned to Earth. The fate of this replacement Super-Skrull is unknown as there is no clear indication if he had ever been seen again.
Eel joined Egghead's Emissaries of Evil alongside Porcupine (Alex Gentry), Solarr, Rhino, Swordsman (Jacques Duquesne), and Power Man (Erik Josten). They traveled to Canada where Egghead planned to blackmail the world with a nuclear missile. The villains were shocked that Egghead actually planned to destroy New York. However Canada's Flight (Groundhog, Stitch, Wolverine, Smart Alec, Snowbird, Saint Elmo) appeared and with some difficulty defeated villains.

Dietrich Trask (Earth-161) was a Nazi scientist working on a project that would enable long-range gathering of genetic data. Dietrich was killed by Wolverine when he invaded Trask's lab alongside the Howling Commandos.
Faithful John is a member of the Clan Askani from a future where X-Men student Genesis ascended to the throne of Apocalypse. Putting the blame on Wolverine, because of his lack luster way of teaching, John traveled back into the past to help Edan Younge create the Phoenix Corporation in hopes that young Quentin Quire would realize the threat Evan poses to the world, so he could embrace his destiny to become the next Phoenix host. John was then confronted by Wolverine and Storm at the Phoenix Corporation in hopes to retrieve Quire but John used his telepathic abilities on Wolverine showing him glimpses of his future which totally incapacitated Logan and making Storm relive her past and her claustrophobia. Although she broke free of the images, John then made his way to the Jean Grey School to confront the remaining students.
Billy Briggs was living homeless on the streets of Manhattan when he beheld Storm of the X-Men fly through the air, and land nearby the alley he was scrounging in. Believing that he had found a kindred spirit, Billy set after her and tried to introduce himself to her, but Storm found him annoying and brushed him off. When he tried to chase after her, he was struck down by a well-dressed man. When Billy saw Storm smile at the man, he decided that she was just like all the other people who had been prejudiced towards him. Billy followed Storm back to the X-Mansion, and observed her friendship with Wolverine and Colossus, deciding to use this against her. He appeared before the three X-Men and demanded that Storm decide which of them should die-- Colossus or Wolverine. Believing that Wolverine's healing factor would protect him, Storm chose Wolverine. Billy struck Wolverine down, but it allowed Colossus an opportunity to grab a tree and smack Billy with it. Storm then held him aloft in the air with winds, and Wolverine, recovered, helped Colossus subdue him. Wolverine nearly killed Billy, but Storm felt responsible for his plight, and determined that they should see Phoenix, hoping she could help him. Storm asked Wolverine if he understood why she chose him and he replied that he did, but his feelings had clearly been hurt. Billy took this as a sign of victory.

King Cobra was enlisted by Lucia von Bardas, the former prime minister of Latveria and placed in her secret army of technology-based villains. She sent the army against Wolverine, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Captain America, the five heroes Nick Fury had sent to Latveria to stop Lucia's secret criminal funding. When the battle started to turn in favor of the heroes, Lucia turned all the armor of her technology army into a bomb. Nick's unknown agent Daisy defeated her and the armor army's lives were saved. Klaus escaped the heroes in the resulting battle between Nick Fury and Wolverine.
Ruth was Denver police officer who was infected with Brood eggs by Harry Palmer. Ruth was killed by Wolverine, whose senses informed him she was Brood (Uncanny X-Men#231).
Deathwatch became an enemy of Wolverine's after Logan encountered some of his men in Madripoor.
Wolverine's friends Archie Corrigan and Tyger Tiger are kidnapped by drug dealers (Sheik, Rhys, Scarface, Stump, Napoleon Caesar Dumas and Barrett). Wolverine then tracked down and attacked them to release his friends (Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1 62-63).
Chief Inspector Krahn was the media's contact for the missing children case. He eventually decided to call Luke Thorpe to deal with the case. Krahn dismissed Peter Parker's report and instead ordered Luke Thorpe to kill the Wendigo. Krahn was eventually revealed by Wolverine to be the real killer, and was accidentally shot dead in the woods by one of the hunters.

Savage was a masked operative and looked like the kind of guy that presumably possessed superhuman strength. Savage was working for the Canadian government as part of Department H. While guarding the Weapon X facility Savage was slain by Wolverine, who cut Savage in half with a Muramasa Blade.
Wolverine and Ben Grimm confronted Colonel Malenky and his soldiers of Spetsnaz (Before the Fantastic Four: Ben Grimm and Logan Vol 1 #1-3).
Junzo Muto, the young leader of the Hand who held the power of the iron fist, planed to bring the city of K'un Lun to earth in the city of Tokyo, but to do this he needs Danny Rand to be there; The Hand captured Misty and Danny followed her to Japan where he met with Wolverine; Junzo began transforming downtown Tokyo into K'un Lin. With Hiromitsu’s help, they then took control of the Dragon Kings and imprisoned Yü-Ti. The Hand then imprisoned Rand, who demanded to know what had become of Misty Knight; when Junzo cruelly explained how he ripped her arm out, Danny attacked him, only to be defeated. He then met with Misty in her own cell. Ever defiant, Misty attacked him again, but was easily repelled. His celebrations were short lived as the superheroes Iron Man, Luke Cage and Psylocke had made an attack on his forces; thinking them a considerable threat, he unleashed the Dragon Kings on them. Unbeknown-st to him however was that Wolverine had infiltrated his fortress and freed Iron Fist in the ensuing chaos. During the battle, he was challenged by Luke Cage, Iron Fist’s best friend. All of Cage’s strength was for naught however as he was dispatched with relative ease by the new lord of K'un-L'un. The Dragon Kings meanwhile kept both Psylocke and Iron Man busy, it was at this point that Wolverine and Iron Fist joined the fray. At the same time, S.H.I.E.L.D., Sunfire and Captain America arrived on the scene; this was little too late however as was gone and K'un-L'un was now the dominant city, thus all technology ceased working. Wolverine then tried to dispatch Junzo and stab him with his claws, but Junzo used his new sorcerer power to control the elements and take down Wolverine. At the same time, The Hand and the Dragon Kings gave the heroes more than they could handle. In a last desperate bid to save K'un-L'un and his own hide Yü-Ti plunged his blade in Iron Fist’s chest as he believed that the only way to make K'un-L'un disappear would be to stop ’s heart, since the city was connected to his life line. With Danny apparently dead, returned to normal and most displeased with the sudden turn of events, Junzo and his assassins made a quick getaway with teleporting via sorcery. With Junzo’s departure, the Dragon Kings returned to their normal states, free of his control and Danny was returned to life via the very potent magic of K'un-L'un. Junzo has been in hiding since and it’s unknown if Iron Fist’s returned powers have had any effect on his own abilities (Iron Fist: Wolverine Vol 1 #1-4).
Kingii was an evolved frill-necked lizard created by the High Evolutionary as one of his New Men, animals given humanoid form and intelligence. He was among the many New Men to stay behind on Earth while his master journeyed into space, and later became an unwitting pawn of the villainous Man-Beast, who sought to overtake the Evolutionary's citadel. When Wolverine approached Man-Beast lair, Kingii was released to attack the intruder. During the fight, High Evolutionary was summoned and he transformed Kingii back to the lizard he was evolved from (Wolverine: First Class #3).
Ulik attacked Thor, Wolverine and Kitty Pride on a celebration at city hall. Wolverine and Thor battled Ulik and Thor managed to defeat him and take him back to Asgard (Wolverine: First Class Vol 1 #15).

The Reanimator brought the Quintronic Man back to his base to begin repairs, but his operation was discovered by Wolverine, who was soon followed by Nova. Wolverine was able to topple the Quintronic Man in battle, damaging it once again (Wolverine II#149).
After the Evolutionary departed for space, the Man-Beast once again attempted to usurp his citadel for his own fiendish ends, and began brainwashing the few New Men who remained on Earth before he was defeated by Wolverine and Kitty Pryde (Wolverine: First Class #3-4).
Songbird for the first time encountered the X-Men as Screaming Mimi in team Grapplers. She and Titania (Lascivious), Pouncakes and Letha tried to attack superhero the Thing in the hospital. However the foursome ran straight into Captain America, who defeated them with his shield. However, all four Grapplers quickly recovered, but fortunately for Captain America, the X-Men (Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Storm, Shadowcat and Wolverine) showed up and held off the Grapplers. They retreated and returned when they noticed an all-out assault by a small army of villains was underway on the hospital. This was met by a large number of friends of the Thing, and the assault was derailed (Marvel Two-in-One#96).
Bukharin is perhaps the most infamous of the Dynamos. He is a former KGB operative who was assigned the task of assisting the Soviet Super Soldiers in apprehending Magneto after a chunk of Asteroid M crashed to Earth. He provoked a fight with the X-Men (Dazzler, Havok, Magneto, Rogue, Storm, Wolverine) and Avengers (the Avengers wanted to arrest Magneto, while the X-Men wanted to protect him). The Dynamo destroyed a cargo ship that Magneto had taken refuge on; he would have been convicted of the murder of the entire crew had the Soviet Super Soldiers, X-Men and Avengers not been present to save them. Afterwards, he was removed from the Soviet Super Soldiers (X-Men Vs. Avengers#1,2,3) .
Takeshi Kishimoto was a drug kingpin captured and tortured Wolverine until he was rescued by Spider-Man. He was eventually confronted and killed by Wolverine (Spider-Man and Wolverine #1-2).
The Kingpin made a deal with Donald Pierce of the Reavers. Pierce granted the Kingpin access to a set of designs to rebuild Damage into a much more powerful version. These designs were granted at no charge in return for the promise to kill the Punisher within ten days, or a penalty of ten million dollars would be required. Wishing to disgrace Castle before killing him, the Kingpin also had his agents rebuild Damage to appear as a double of the Punisher. Damage then traced the Punisher's steps, executing innocent victims at the sites of his battles. While Castle attempted to determine who was committing these killing, the deaths also drew the attention of Wolverine. Wolverine followed the trail back to Damage and attacked him. While Castle was occupied with his old foe, yet another agent of the Kingpin, the Sniper, Wolverine and Damage ripped each other to shreds. The two had incapacitated each other by the time Castle arrived. Castle pulled the impaled Wolverine off of Damage's arm-remnant, but Damage, like any good grade B horror villain, suddenly arose once again and dove at Castle. The Punisher threw a lit lighter at Damage, who had been covered in toxic chemicals during his previous struggle--he instantly burst into flames and then exploded. The Kingpin recovered Damage's remains, preserved them in cryogenic suspension, and sent them to Pierce, along with an additional 40 million dollars as commission to rebuild Damage (Wolverine/Punisher: Damaging Evidence#1-3).
Oswald Zinn, also known as Napoleon devised a plot that forced the Punisher to fight Wolverine to the death but this plan backfired and The Punisher killed Zinn (Wolverine/Punisher #1-5).
Gerald O'Higgins was the most feared freedom fighter in Northern Ireland. He earned money for the cause by doing hits for criminal families in America. He would send all the money home to the cause, choosing to live like a monk, incorruptible by women, drink or money. But most importantly his faith made him feel invincible. This went on for ten years or so then one day day while in Belfast, Gerald starts to think what the point. Whats the point of doing the dishes, whats the point in being polite to strangers, whats the point of killing. Starting that day Gerald stopped believing in anything. He started to drink, sleep around and cared for money more then anything. This new attitude earned him the nickname The Atheist. Years later The Atheist has found his way down to Erewhon. There the Atheist has found himself one of the higher ranking officer in Oswald Zinn's new society. Then when Zinn plans to bring the Punisher to Erewhon so that the citizens can enact their revenge, the Atheist is at the forefront. Soon after the Punisher arrives, Victoria betrays Zinn, by running away with Wolverine. This causes Zinn to send The Atheist after them both. The Atheist kills Victoria and tortures Wolverine by shooting a crossbow bolt into his head. While The Atheist is heading back to Erewhon, Wolverine gets the drop on him and hang him upside down in the jungle. The Atheist escapes by "believing" again and thanks Wolverine for giving him something to believe in again.
Gottlieb was a leader the group called The Council.
The Hood, empowered by Dormammu, began hunting down candidates for the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme and teleported into New Orleans where he fired bullets at the Son of Satan, who had just been having a phone discussion with Hellcat to return to his side. Hellstrom easily stopped the Hood's bullets. Angered, he demanded to speak directly to the demon possessing the gunman when the Eye of Agamotto, seeking a new Sorcerer Supreme, briefly blinked in and out. Hellstrom attacked with his mystical trident, forcing the Hood and his "demon" to take on a more monstrous aspect. The Avengers (Luke Cage, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Woman, Ronin (Clint Barton), Mockingbird (Bobbi Morse), Captain America (James Barnes), Dr. Strange) arrived and provided distraction while Hellstrom, Dr. Strange and Brother Voodoo were able to trap the monster and forced Dormammu to fully reveal himself. Voodoo then expelled him from this dimension, Hellstrom then warned Voodoo and the assembled Avengers that dimensional barriers were weakening, allowing unholy and magical creatures better access to this world (New Avengers I#52,53,54).
After Civil War, John King was with Hood when he puts together his crime syndicate to take advantage of the Superhuman Registration Act. He attended Owl's auction where he was auctioning off a Deathlok replica until Hood attacked the auction and cause the apparent death of Owl. Later, John King was with Hood at Hank's Bar to eat and drink until they was attacked by Wolverine who overheard their plans with the Deathlok replica. John King and Hood managed to get away from Wolverine after small fight (New Avengers I#33-34).
A member of the Sentinel Force, Doug and his fellow pilots were sent to apprehend the X-Men. In their encounter, Doug's Sentinel was cut open by Wolverine who presumably killed him (Earth-2301)(X-Men: Ronin #4).
During the Fear Itself event, Blackout and Deathwatch joined the D.O.A. (Department of Occult Armaments) and worked with Skadi in attacking to town of Dayton, Ohio. Alejandra Jones became the new Ghost Rider who is able to defeated the demonic duo (Ghost Rider Vol 7 #1). Blackout later returned to fight an army of heroes facing Sin. He then was attacked by Wolverine (Fear Itself: The Fearless #10).
Wolverine fought Demolition Man, when he was a member of the Wonder Man's Revengers (New Avengers Annual Vol 2 #1).
The Shi'ar Empress, Lilandra, her mind controlled by the villainous Cassandra Nova, who inhabited Charles Xavier's body, arrived in lower Earth orbit with a team of Superguardians, including Schism, under the leadership of Gladiator. Cassandra Nova used Lilandra to enforce the power of the Imperial Superguardian Elite to attack the X-Men, using a lie that the mutants were infected and had to be exterminated. Schism patrolled the outside of the Xavier Institute alongside Gladiator and Blimp, and met up with Oracle, Arc and Manta. Together with Blimp and Arc, Schism entered the Mansion and watched as Arc electrocuted Beast. Wolverine, wearing an Imperial Flight Patch that he had taken from Neosaurus, smashed through an upper window, slashing at Schism and Blimp. Schism, almost instinctively, split in two to evade Wolverine's claws. Beast then leapt into the air, catching each half of Schism in each giant blue paw, and rammed their heads together, knocking the two halves unconscious (New X-Men I#124).
Hired by Jade Claw Darkstrider joined forces with Razor-Fist, Rock of the Buddha and Soulstriker to take down the Black Dragon (Wolverine) of San Francisco's Chinatown. After murdering several drug dealers they attacked Black Dragon's base (Drunken Mantis) and stole his money to lure him out. Darkstrider, Razor-Fist, Rock of the Buddha, Soulstriker, a bunch of dragons and Jade Claw's soldiers surrounded Wolverine, Master Po, Gorilla Man and Yuen Yee, who had invaded the ancient tunnels under Chinatown, which Jade Claw used to traffic her drugs. During the battle against Wolverine and his allies Darkstrider attacked Wolverine and Master Po, who broke one of Darkstrider's arms. Darkstrider held Wolverine for Razor-Fist until Wolverine and Gorilla Man both surrendered when Soulstriker threatened to have Master Po and Yuen Yee killed by the dragons. Darkstrider and his allies took Yuen Yee to Jade Claw, after Soulstriker pushed Master Po into a bottomless pit and Wolverine and Gorilla Man were bound to dragons to be ripped apart by them. Darkstrider joined the battle once again when Wolverine and Gorilla Man turned up alive with their new ally Fat Cobra. Gorilla Man shot at him with a machine gun. Jade Claw's forces were defeated when Master Po arrived with a horde of dragons, who had been at war with Jade Claw's dragons (Wolverine IV#17,18,19).
Wolverine alongside many other heroes opposed Celestial Destructor, when he attacked Earth (Civil War II #1).
Tara was Weapon X agent, was apparently present during Wolverine's adamantium bonding. She later led a one squad to hunt down Logan in New York, battling both Spider-Man and Daredevil. Wolverine and the X-Men subsequently tracked her down to their base, but abandoned by their secret backers, Tara killed her team and committed suicide rather than face capture (Ultimate X-Men #34-39).
Wolverine alongside X-Men helped the Neo to defeat the Delgado, when detective Charlotte Jones and drug dealer Rufus Delgado was merged into a gestalt being with Delgado the dominant form.
Wolverine alongside Avengers battled Grim Reaper and his Lethal Legion (Avengers: X-Sanction Vol 1 #1). Member of an unspecified government agency, Kiefer had a past history with Wolverine, who lumped him in with "those who gave me these claws." Wolverine had told him that if he ever saw him again, he would kill him. Kiefer oversaw Daniel and Veronica's genetic engineering of Avery, who was intended to become Wolverine's superior. Kiefer continued to check in on Avery as she grew up. However, when the Connors began to prepare to try to escape from him, Kiefer recognized this and hired Elektra to assassinate Daniel Connor. When Avery witnessed Elektra killing her father, Kiefer became concerned that he might be linked to Elektra, or perhaps that Avery might still be taken from him. In any event, Kiefer contacted Wolverine, asking him to protect Avery and Veronica, and telling him that Veronica was connected to his forgotten past. As Wolverine became involved, both he and Elektra began to realize Kiefer's true involvement and intent. After Avery left with Elektra, Kiefer took Veronica Connor hostage an an effort to force Wolverine's cooperation, but Wolverine and Elektra joined forces against him. While Avery distracted Kiefer, Wolverine wounded him and freed Veronica, after which Elektra slew him.

Using Professor X's telepathy, Red Skull provoked ordinary citizens of New York into a mass assault against even potential mutants, even managing to take control of Thor. However, his telepathy was still erratic with Red Skull being unable to completely control Captain America. Eventually, Wolverine attacked Red Skull and cut off his right hand, disrupting his powers (Uncanny Avengers Vol 1#1-4). In a possible future where a final battle between the heroes and villains ended with the villains winning, Red Skull is revealed as the mastermind of the villains' conquest and has made himself President of the United States. Living in the Nazi redecorated White House, Red Skull had taken to wearing Captain America's old bloodstained uniform and collecting gruesome trophies from fallen heroes. When his men bring in a wounded Wolverine, Logan and Red Skull fight in his trophy room. Unwilling to pop his claws during the fight, Wolverine decapitates Red Skull with Captain America's shield, ending his villainous rule (Wolverine Giant-Size Old Man Logan).

Superia reappeared leading a recreated H.A.M.M.E.R. following Norman Osborn's removal from power. Her initial efforts to traffic a new serum blended from Captain America's original super soldier serum as well as Nick Fury's longevity serum were scuppered by the unexpected arrival of the New Avengers (Dr. Strange, Thing, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Ms. Marve, Mockingbird, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage). Though she managed to best them with significantly stronger powers than before, capitalized upon Mockingbird taking a bullet and even tried to conspire with former H.A.M.M.E.R Agent Victoria Hand she was eventually defeated and sent to the raft (New Avengers Vol 2 #9-11). Before long however Norman Osborn managed to successfully escape incarceration with help from Hydra and A.I.M, during his prison break he released Superia and offered her a place on his new roster of Dark Avengers as his Ms. Marvel. This plan was also ultimately futile as fellow recruit Skaar revealed himself to be a double agent for the Avengers and all Dark Avengers were violently beaten down and imprisoned once more. Superia was among them.
Simon Williams attacked Avengers, after he refused to join them again, feeling bitter towards the Avengers and blaming them for causing events like Civil War, Secret Invasion, and Siege. Iron Man, Thor, Noh-Varr, Wolverine and other Avengers then confronted Simon and could rally themselves and forced him to teleport away (Avengers Vol 4 #1-2). Recently, Simon came to the conclusion that the Avengers simply cause more harm than good, stating that the endangerment of countless innocent bystanders over the years as result of battles with enemies and the lure and even creation of villains from the Avengers being a famous superhero team outweigh all the good the team accomplishes. He gathered allies like Black Goliath and Virtue and formed his own team, the Revengers. They successfully assaulted Avengers Mansion and defeated the Avengers. Later, the Avengers took revenge on Wonder Man and his team and defeated them, but not before he is able to instill a degree of doubt in the general population as to the validity and consequences of the Avengers' actions. He is held in a cell, designed specifically, by Tony Stark, to contain his ionic form, and makes the claim that he has not been 'real' since his resurrection. While making this statement his energy based body seems to dissipate and, eventually, completely disappear (New Avengers Annual Vol 2 #1/Avengers Annual Vol 4 #1).
Created by Henry Pym to be a technological landmark, he soon intellectually surpassed Pym, and eventually fought the Avengers after organizing the Masters of Evil. He has clashed with the Avengers numerous times, and was most recently defeated while trying to conquer the world.
