The criminal sisterhood wanted total control over Mutant Town and decided to target Parisi's lover to send the don a message. X-23 kept both of them out of harm's way, even as Sage learned of the situation and sent assistance in the form of a delegation of X.S.E-operatives (Bishop, Nightcrawler, Storm and Wolverine). Figuring the two clawed mutant had to be X-23, Geech tracked her down and found Kinney in the presence of the X-Men (Bishop, Nightcrawler, Storm and Wolverine) and Jade's boyfriend Matthew. Not impressed by the X-Men, Geech tried to kidnap X-23 despite her teammates' protest. As the X-Men tried to stop him from capturing X-23, he managed to beat all of the X-Men. After striking down Bishop, he tried to grab Matthew and take off.
