@ecstaticgrace:Considering how many costumes she has in the comics, I don't think about it too much.

The movie looks "okay" at best. After Doctor Strange 2, Thor 4, and Antman 3, hopefully they stick the landing this time.

Overall, it feels like a Disney+ show and I'm not blown away just yet. The villain's name is Dar-Benn, who appeared in 3 comics, none of which are Captain Marvel books, so no hype there.

Thoughts?

Writer's need to play with an emotional core for Carol. Like the contradiction that she's the big display of power of what a superheroine can do, deep down she still wants her father's approval even though he's been dead for years. An unconscious need that drove her to pick the lawful side in both Civil Wars and to be more of a solo act even when she's on teams.

In spite of living in spite of her father, she's been doing things that he would do if he had powers. Both were military, both were alcoholics, both resorted to punch what they didn't like, and they both even fell in love with soldiers.

Have her fight Nightmare and this story writes itself

@ecstaticgrace: I'm good with that but I'd guarantee Vox would be dead by the end. Interesting concept on paper but he's only there to make weird things happen instead of being a well written character himself

A Progenitor (discount celestial) takes note of the Kree/Skrull alliance and starts modifying them. When the Alliance and Captain Marvel track it down to the World Farm and take it out, they find all sorts of insane galaxy altering/smashing tech. Hulking thinks its better to leave the tech alone, but the more old school Kree like Yon-rogg want to use it. He modifies himself into something borderline Omega Level, but Carol and the GOTG manage to kill him. However things get so loud that now the Galactic Council has demands. They give Hulkling an ultimatum: Surrender the World Farm to the Council or it gets taken by force. The mess with Yon-rogg is proof to Hulkling that no one should have the World Farm, but the Badoon want that tech badly and play things up in the Council to get the Shiar on their side or else another Yon-Rogg could happen.

Thing get worse when the Council manages to get scientists to decode Progenitor records. Long story short: They modded ancient Kree and saw them as failures and left, but they saw Carol Danvers recently and see her as the success. They were planning to make all the Kree like her. The other empires and even the Skrulls on their side really don't want that.

So yeah, galactic war. This is where we reintroduce old Captian Marvel enemies like Minerva, Atlas, and the Brood with Hulking and Carol needing to make hard decisions with their own people. Eventually, the inhumans would step in and things would get so much worse.

@ecstaticgrace: Ult. Carol gets severely injured and OG Carol gives her a blood transfusion. Ult Carol goes full Civil War 2 and starts calling herself the Sentry. Done.

@olorun: This thing is that it's repeatedly stated that Carol has limitless potential, so eventually she could reach upper rank cosmic level.
