I’m out of this RP. If you no-sell me and add new things to your bio after your RP has started just because you don’t want to lose, then go ahead, knock yourself out and destroy Earth, the Solar System, everything. This Dhuesis is a complete ass-pull, it wasn’t even in Atlas’ bio (not even a hint) by the time the RP and the battle (specifically) were underway. It was added mid-RP and it isn’t even in the Atlas bio that was published as a blog post.

A "This Is The End" RP with Zauby, Sha and Gambler would be hilarious.

@ivy_cunningham:

Within Mason's mind, there lay a sea deep in knowledge, its endless waters rich in science instead of salt. As Ivy strolled on the white sands of its shore, a tide of thought rolled in to gentle her toes, caressing her feet before retreating in waves.

Will you show me?

Her words billowed through the air, and the vast sea - her fiancé's mind - parted, answering her plea by welcoming her into the depths of his consciousness. Together, hand-in-hand, they dove past schools of ideas swimming in place of fish, plunged by coral reefs of memories new and old, treading these uncharted waters in an intimate journey to the ocean floor where mind and soul were married as one, just as he and Ivy would be one day.

For hours, Mason led her through the totality of his thoughts and experiences, sharing his knowledge in the hope that something - anything - would help them unravel the mystery behind Sloane's whereabouts. And while they hung in psycho-spiritual embrace, they wined and dined, flirted and smiled, breezing through their evening till the bill was paid and their departure from Il Tramonto neared.

"Ivy, I'd say it's time we take our leave", Mason remarked, standing from his chair and flicking his eyes towards Giacomo, "You've been an absolute delight, Gia. We've left you a generous tip. And please", a disarming curve eased across his face, "Bid Lady Cunningham a charming farewell in Italian and we might just dine here again next Friday".

With the heat of embarrassment swarming Giacomo's face, a nervous laugh escaped the bashful waiter as his eyes met Ivy's, "A-arrivederci, Dama Cunningham".

"Good man", the Scarlet Sentinel smiled, pulling Ivy's hand into his grasp before guiding her to her feet, "Have a wonderful evening, mate".

Returning his attention to his fiancé, Mason's lips twitched into a playful grin, and his hand came down on her perky rear, slapping it with a stroke of desire, not hard enough to sting, but enough to heat, "Ready to go dancing, Lady Cunningham?".

Leading Ivy out the restaurant, Mason felt the evening breeze greet them in a gentle gust, and his eyes swept to their Ferrari 250 GTO.

If your sisters can help us locate Sloane, then we'll reach out to them. We need every available resource. My sister's story will not end in captivity, his thoughts echoed, heard by Ivy's mind and hers alone, But for the rest of the evening, I want us to enjoy our time. We can plan and worry tomorrow morning.

Guiding Ivy towards their car, the Scarlet Sentinel stopped and spun her around in a burst of spontaneity. Eyes stirred by deep desire, Mason inched closer, drowning his fiancé in his warmth till her supple curves melted against his Achillean muscle, surrendering to the lips he crushed against hers in a moment of crackling passion. One hand seized the rear of her neck, holding her in place while the other wrapped around her waist, holding her firmly against him. Kissing her in ardor, the warmth between them flared like a Sun, rising in heat by the second, leading their lungs in a race to breathlessness.

And in that fleeting moment that Ivy dared gasp for air, Mason shoved a hot tongue inside her mouth, melting into hers as his hands abandoned her neck and waist to find her rear, squeezing it as it curved into his palms. Pressing his blazing flesh into her smoldering skin, as if there was not enough of her to sate the depth of touch he craved, Mason kissed her in a fury before smiling against her lips. Taking her bottom lip between his teeth, the Scarlet Sentinel bit down, blurring the borders of pain and pleasure before pulling away.

"Dancing. Let's go", he grinned, opening the passenger side door for her before dashing to the driver's side.

@legacy_: @jacob_grayl:

A finger grazing the rim of his brandy glass, his scarlet eyes holding the Zeraz sisters with a gaze of fleeting curiosity, Mason caught his brother's subtle quip and a breeze of laughter escaped him.

"Is this your doing brother?"

No Caption Provided

"Would you be surprised if I said yes?", Mason teased, his lips curving in debonair triumph, "But alas, it isn't so, Jacob. I don't imagine House Grayl and the Zeraz family mingle in similar enough circles for this to be either your or my doing. Regardless", he smiled, "It is an interesting proposal. A school of mutant students visiting the world's foremost and only mutant museum. It will be a lesson of firsts for those children. Many of them know next to nothing about the mutant influence permeating human history. About how their favorites myths and legends are likely about mutants misidentified as figures of fantasy by primitives too backwards to have known any better".

"In a classic room, they learn. Here, they'll experience".

Bringing his glass of brandy to his lips, the Scarlet Sentinel indulged in a short sip, his tongue stirred into splendor by a stroke of fruity zest. Setting his glass back down, his eyes taking a bold step into each sister's gaze, Mason steered his mind towards matters of greater prominence.

"That however, is for the children", he reminded, "If we're to be heralds of a better tomorrow, then we need cooperation with our human cousins, and unity among our mutant brethren. I propose we host a gala, one designed to foster better social, political and economic ties between the human and mutant worlds. We don't, for example, want a large electric company waging a war on an electrokinetic mutant due to the threat they pose to their primary market. So", Mason continued.

"House Grayl will see to it that the heads of British aristocracy and the UK's mutant elite attend the gala. While you, the Zeraz Corporation, will bring in the giants of American consumerism. Ah, and my lovely fiancé - a lady by title - will round up the Scottish social and political elite with whom her family is well acquainted. But of course, once we've muted the aggression of our human cousins, we will form a secret cabal. And as its purpose will be to protect the interests of mutant-kind, it will consist of the mutant elite".

"Suggestions? Protests?".

◇◆ Solace City ◆◇

In the present day, the modern man strove to build a future where every race and creed matters, where love is the nexus of society. Yet as civil war consumed the streets of Solace City, it was a future far and away. Fighter jets tore the sky asunder, the cold black of their shadows rolling over the buildings as an omen of the storm to come. From the comfort of his office at the Trinity Foundation, Mason Grayl watched the freedmen of Solace's Slaveyards paint the city in strokes of red, smearing the streets in blood and gore. Shutting his eyes, the Scarlet Sentinel pulled the air into his lungs and took the deepest breath he had in years.

Pinching the bridge of his nose, a gust of frustration escaped him, "Funking hell.... alright", Mason paused, steering his thoughts into the encrypted channels of Jahmeel and Yasmin's A.I.s.

◈ - So, I can see that both of you are already on the field for this one. Be careful. Because judging from those fighter jets, we're dealing with someone with a wealth of resources - ◈

Springing from his chair, the Scarlet Sentinel dashed towards his Dekeract. Stepping inside its hyper-dimensional chamber, Mason waded through the fabric of spacetime as it folded, twisting him through dimensions higher and strange till the Sun's rays heated into him. Emerging on a cluttered rooftop, Mason glimpsed at a fighter jet soaring overhead, its thundering roar filling his ears. Gliding towards the rooftop's edge, the Scarlet Sentinel passed his gaze over the streets below.

Innocent lives were at risk, but the honor of the X-clusives hinged on his ability to guide Jahmeel and Yasmin into neutralizing the enhanced freedmen without murder. Lancing down the building, Mason landed, thudding the pavement before leaping back to his feet. Meeting eyes with a super-powered mob, the Scarlet Sentinel swept an arm across the air, and a tide of Penteracts arose from his grasp. Bound to his cognition, the Penteracts were cubes of five-dimensional engineering. Shifting through shapes alien and unknown, they swarmed the mob of freedmen, caging them in sheets of five-dimensional space their three-dimensional muscle vectors were not adapted to move through.

Trudging through the chaos engulfing the city, Mason wrapped more and more freedmen in the binds of five-dimensional space, thinning the mobs until he sighted Yasmin ahead. Aflame with both fire and anger, Yasmin gave voice to the question stirring in their minds.

"Why have you attacked this city?"

Yet as fighter jet after fighter jet rocked the sky above, Mason lifted his gaze, a single word crossing his mind.

Enough.

Eyes alight with a scarlet glow, particles ultra-dense and super heavy marched out the gates of non-Einsteinian creation - and stormed out his visor as beams not of energy, heat or radiation, but matter.

Matter of such mass and density it dared breach anything sans true adamantium.

Every five seconds, his beams thundered into the clouds, dyeing the sky red as Mason sought to blast the enemy fighter jets apart at the cost of his own energy.

@al-said: @mutant_genesis:

Easing into the comforting velvet of his office chair, Mason gestured at a second one hanging two feet from his, his words drifting into Yasmin's ears, "Have a seat, Yasmin. Let's see if your friend has the qualities one needs for the X-clusives".

Soon, a large, holographic screen bloomed into the air, its soft glow caressing both his and Yasmin's faces as Jahmeel's performance unfolded before them.

"I'm sorry"

Dragging his focus from Jahmeel to her apology, the Scarlet Sentinel met Yasmin's eyes with a smile, its curve reaching out to soothe her worries, "It's quite alright, Yasmin. No need to apologize. Now then, let's evaluate your friend".

Leaning back into his chair, Mason studied every aspect of Jahmeel's performance, gluing his attention to every ounce of success and every lapse of concentration, be they minor or major. Nodding as Yasmin's voice filled the air, her assessment of Jahmeel floating to his ears, Mason rubbed his chin, as if in so doing he would smooth out the wrinkles in his mind, turning thought into words.

"It wasn't bad by any means, but he could've done better. He succeeded in his overall goal, which was to save the victim of the mugging and neutralize the muggers. But he was a tad bit reckless with the disarming of the muggers. The gun went off when it dropped. Of course the bullet didn't hit anyone but", he sighed, "It could have. He also freaked out about almost being shot. Seemed quite a bit ticked about that given the beating he dealt. But he's got good instincts since he understands that neutralizing the enemy's ability to engage you is important as opposed to just flying in and flaunting his powers like an amazing funking moron".

"In any case", Mason continued, "I'd say that was a solid 80 out of a 100. Or a B- as the Americans say because apparently they don't like counting, which is ironic for a country with 50 states", he chuckled, his laughter a cool, autumn breeze, "But if you think you can steer him into a more optimal performance, then let's work on that. The next simulation will be a bit trickier, but he'll also have your help. You'll be his field leader so we can see how well you can direct him and how well he responds to instruction".

"But", he paused, "That simulation will be for another day. Wouldn't want to overload him on the first day".

Flicking a finger across the holographic screen, the Scarlet Sentinel ended the simulation and the walls of Jahmeel's virtual world unraveled, sweeping the newest member of the X-clusives into his office. Swiveling his chair around, Mason faced Jahmeel with a slow clap.

"Cliché, I know", he admitted, a wry smile crossing his face, "But I couldn't help myself. In any case, you did well. Not perfect by any means, but well over a passing grade. A nice B-, however, there is room for improvement. That gunshot could've hit either you or the civilian you were trying to save. You also seemed rattled that the gunshot almost hit you. Then you expressed that frustration - or even anger - by narrowly sparing that mugger's life. So in the next simulation, which will be on another day, you'll be working with Yasmin. She'll be acting as your on-field leader. I'd like to see how well you follow instructions, as well as gauge how Yasmin herself - a seasoned member of the X-clusives - commands on the field".

"Also, you two interact with more students than I do. If you can scout anyone interesting, or at least anyone you think is interesting, do let me know. Ah and Jahmeel, welcome to the X-clusives".

@ivy_cunningham:

There, with eyes open and loving, Ivy gentled the corner of his lips with a kiss. As with sunlight flowing into raindrops and emerging as a rainbow - nature's purest mosaic - so too did Ivy's love tunnel into his soul, sparking in his heart passion, purpose and truth. For a moment, Mason sat silent, speaking only with the wisdom of his heart as he held her hand in the molten swaddle of his grasp. His thumb stroked her fingers up and down, and those fleeting touches bloomed with all he was - the sway of his thoughts, the beating of his heart, and the depths of his soul as he held her gaze.

Smiling, Mason's lips curved with a love deep in gratitude, "You're a gem, Ivy", his heart warmed, her forehead finding his with a touch of heaven, "My moon and stars".

Soon, the warmth of their intimacy was disturbed by Giacomo's sweeping return. Easing away from his fiancé, the Scarlet Sentinel wrapped their waiter in the deep ruby of his gaze. As both taunt and demand flowed out Ivy's throat, a subtle twitch of amusement tugged at the sides of Mason's lips.

"You might as well let Lady Cunningham steer you along for the night, Gia. After all, the Scots are known for their amazing roads... that and classy delicacies like deep-fried Mars bars. So, clearly a refined palate".

Dashing away to tend to their orders, Giacomo allowed the mutant couple their stroke of peace and privacy. Grazing a fingertip along the rim of his whisky glass, the Scarlet Sentinel answered Ivy's desire to find Sloane by opening his mind to hers.

I've been considering searching through different avenues. Conventional searches have yielded absolutely zero results, he began, his thoughts pitched for Ivy's mind and hers alone, They've hid all trace of her from even you, a telepath with few rivals and no superiors. It makes me wonder if perhaps they're using technology similar to what I use to protect my mind from telepaths on the field.

We have three standard spatial dimensions that everyone is privy to. You know, you can move up and down, left and right, and forwards and backwards. And when you move diagonally you're just moving in a linear combination of existing spatial dimensions, his mind paused, But I've found that there are higher spatial dimensions that most forms of life adapted to three-dimensional spatial awareness simply can't perceive. A new direction so to speak. Sort of like trying to imagine a new color.

Well, I've developed technology that can process the quantum information the mind is made up of in higher spatial dimensions, enabling my mind to drift along new directions and such that most minds simply can't perceive. You can't find something if its hiding spot is a place you didn't even think possible to exist. Perhaps that or something similar is what Sloane's captors have done, his thoughts asserted, They're keeping all psionic trace of her mind in a higher spatial dimension. I may be wrong but it's a start. And we have to exhaust every possible option.

"But also", Mason smiled, "I took you out tonight to have fun. So after this, we're going dancing. Just like how we met".
