This is the Top Ten Bleeding Cool Bestseller List, as compiled by a number of comic stores from their sales on Wednesday and Thursday. It measures what is known as the "Wednesday Warriors", those who can't wait till the weekend to get this week's comics. Though thanks to DC, Tuesday Titans too. If any other retailers would like to report their top sellers, please contact richjohnston@bleedingcool.com. And while Batman usually tops the list in the week of publication, this week saw it just beaten by both Moon Knight and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin – and not first issues either…

Top Ten Bleeding Cool Bestseller List of the week

  1. Moon Knight #3
  2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Last Ronin #4
  3. Batman #113
  4. X-Men #3
  5. Batman: The Detective #5
  6. Nightwing #84
  7. Death Of Doctor Strange #1
  8. X-Men Onslaught Revelations #1
  9. Fantastic Four #36
  10. Star Wars Bounty Hunters #16

Thanks to the following Bleeding Cool Bestseller List retailers…

If you would like to contribute to the Bestseller List retailer charts, let me know at richjohnston@bleedingcool.com. Retailers come and go, and we always appreciate new blood, especially from retailers in other locations.

Who had this to say…

  • Graham Crackers Comics: Moon Knight won this week, it's a great book, but this was led by a speculation with a first appearance. TMNT Last Ronin continues to be strong with every issue.
  • Ssalesfish: Turtle beats Bat in a vicious and decisive victory. Moon Knight is already coming down slightly but only ever so slightly. King Spawn came in at 4, not bolstered by 7 covers this time but that's still a strong seller for the week.
  • Rodman Comics: TMNT Last Ronin 4 was easily the top seller for us even after a lengthy delay. Strong sales week with no real surprises.

The Bleeding Cool Bestseller List returns next week. If your store would like to be involved, get in touch.

Who had this to say…

  • Graham Crackers Comics: If Magneto wasn't right, he was definitely number one. Fantastic Four doesn't make our top 5 very often, so congrats to them this week.
  • Ssalesfish: Batman '89 took a slight dip from last month's issue 1 with the thing I noticed being that people weren't buying both covers nearly as much. Still a huge hit by all means but a little off from the huge numbers of that first issue. X-men Trial of Magneto, Harley Quinn Animated's comic, and Eternals were all noteworthy. That Eternals book may have sold better than the regular ongoing #1 did but I don't have that data in front of me to be sure but Thanos may have done the trick.
  • Rodman Comics: This week Marvel only had two books make it into the top ten for us. Batman 89 issue 2 took the top spot for us. Primordial 1 did very well for Image, beating out all the Marvel titles here. Bettie Page Curse of the Banshee 4 had a strong showing with all of the variant covers this week managed to break into our top ten.

The Bleeding Cool Bestseller List returns next week. If your store would like to be involved, get in touch.

Hello Everyone, Just Checked Out The Latest Issue Of ASM And Well, Here Are My Thoughts Here in The Spoilers Below:

MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS WAS A REALLY BRILLIANT ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!! MUCH BETTER THAN I ACTUALLY THIUGHT!!!!!!!!! Really Love how the whole thing went down!!!!!!!!! Really Love how all this went down for Harry, Norman, MJ, abd Gwen/Sarah. So, yeah. It seems that Harry actually knows that he's in The Marvel Universe since he realizes that resurrection has been a thing. So,him realizing that his father may come back someday would be understandable. And all these years he's actually right. And really, whether he would be aware that his father is actually around or not doesn't really matter to him since he's Really been trying to get back at him for all the years of ridicule abd neglect that he's been having from his father for years. And so, to satisfy and fool his own ego, he used his partners Mysterio, Chameleon, and Stromm to make his plan work. And at first I thought it would be Mysterio and Chameleon that would be in on it. But, then it surprises me that Stromm was in on it as well. Which is understandable since Norman screwed him in the past and wanted to get back at him. However, it Was Really Crazy how Harry or whoever this was Actually killed him after years of their involvement together. And now seeing this just makes it realize how funny this was when Harry got him back after all these years. Making him look like a fool. And it's pretty interesting that when Harry mentions"You only had the one child". Norman looked at the bubbling tube like something was coming out. So, could it be a Peter clone that he was not aware of or......

Not only that, but, I Really Liked the confrontation between MJ and Sarah. Or what could be Sarah. With her, it actually made her realize that this whole thing was pretty much MJ at fault as she, he, or it realizes. After screwing this Kindred over, now this Kindred just wants revenge on MJ. And not only that, but, the origin of Sarah and Gabriel Stacy were Really Well Done as well. But, not only that, but, with there being Kindred's abd Harrys, it got me thinking of some possibilities of them.

So, in the opening of the issue, we see Peter confronting a Kindred with a grey clothing. Abd with MJ we see her confronting Kindred with purple clothing. Not only that, but, we had Harry with Carlie looking at his corpse. Abd we had him feeling pretty aware of his life and the truth. Then, we have Norman saying that Harry died a hero once he revealed his plans. So, with all that, it kinda got me thinking here:

So, with the Kindred confronting Peter here COULD actually be the amalgamation of Peter's guilt and failures like with Harry, Gwen, May, MJ, Jean DeWolff, George, and Pre OMD Peter. Wanting to lead him to his personal trap. While the one MJ is confronting could be the fake one. Meaning that this one actually took the Chameleon Serum and wanted some answers from her personally. Meaning that it couldn't beeither Sarah NOR Harry NOR even Gabriel. This could be another person who is just disguising itself as a demon just to get back at MJ for her involvement. Not only that, but, with Harry involved, could be something more personal with him. Since, not only did his father sold his soul to hell and that Peter lead him to die despite his noble act. But, having to figure out what Peter and MJ did in their involvement with Mephisto got him even more mad than ever. To have them sacrifice their happiness for a single person who would've been happy to let them live their life happy just made him REALLY UPSET. Abd understandably so if Harry would be involved.

Not only that, but, with the BND Harry likely being a clone, there is a question of what the Goblin Gear on his father's closet could be. Like either another clone, Demon Harry, or possibly his son Normie since I thought he would be the suspect involved in this Evil Legacy. And still could possibly be.

Not only that, but, we had the clones of Gabriel and Sarah constantly dying in each of their forms. And with everytime they rapidly age, the more they die quicker. Not only that, but, as their bodies kept getting buried, we see a hooded figure just trying to bury each of their corpses. Abd with that, if it's not either Sarah or Gabriel or even Harry, it could be that they have been teaming up with another person involved. And whoever that is, could be more involved with the Osborns, Peter, and MJs lives.

And not only that, but, we see MJ confronting a Kindred abd that is likely confirmed to be a fake one while the real one is confronting Peter. But, despite this, the fake one could likely be involved with the fabrics of hell and could be involved with Mephisto himself. And with the one now having more of a personal grudge with MJ and have more of a grudge with Peter had me think abd possibly believe that this mysterious person involved, the one being involved with Kindred, the one being involved with Harry abd Mephisto could actually beTheir Daughter Mayday Since it's understandable whyMayday would be so upset with the Parker's. Or better yet, it could actually beAnne Milgrom, the person who actually kidnapped their child. Either way, this story, Sins Of Our Father's arc, has me more intrigued than the actual Sinister Wars event since that event has been very anti Climatic and has been pretty pointless overall now. But, yeah, so far, the tie ins abd the new arc are pretty much More Interesting.

Really, not only has this new half arc FINALLY retconned the DREADED and DISGUSTING SINS PAST. But, is also actually retconning the DISGUSTING OMD as well. FINALLY!!!!!!!!! The Whole Thing Might POSSIBLY Get Undone!!!!!!!!! Alot of people say they might get acknowledged. But, I would hope they would be able to Finally get the marriage back.

Not only that, but, they seem to think that Sins Past was never built up but, really, with how the themes try to bring up Peter, Norman, MJ, and Sins, I believe it's still likely THAT story would be brought up. Especially what Norman did to Spider-Gwen a while back. As well as the constant hatred towards Norman. Not only that, even if it didn't, it would STILL LIKELY FEEL GOOD THAT IT DID.

Anyway, next issue would actually be the FINAL ISSUE of Nick Spencer's run. Not only that, but, it's actually gonna be like 90 + Pages!!!!!!!!! Which means we are likely gonna get more story into this. More answers being revealed and a battle between Spidey, Kindred, and Mephisto!!!!!!! Not only that. But, I Really Hope they actually try to bring in Ben and Kaine in this. Last time in Last Remains they never appeared in that despite the arc showing more emphasis on Peter, Norman, abd their actions and tragedies. I mean, with how hard Kindred tried to put all this, you would think that Ben and Kaine would likely be involved. But here, with the whole thing with clones and what not, I Really Hope that both Ben and Kaine appear. I mean, a while ago Carlos Gomez teased some pages involving Ben on his Instagram, so we know he'll be involved in the final issue of this run. But, hopefully Kaine would appear as well since Norman caused him so much damage as well. Whatever the case, I Really Hope that both Ben and Kaine Actually Appear in the Final Issue of this Entire Run.

Also, Really Love the post 9/11 Anniversary Issue. Really Lovely And Really Touching. Really Love that Romita Jr. Is Finally And Actually Back At Marvel. Really Love that's how his first return back here is like. Not only that, but, his work on Marvel is MUCH BETTER than his previous work at DC. Everything is so nice, tight, abd put together. Really Hope to see him more involved with Spidey possibly during or after Beyond. Also nice that this story was well handled by Joe Quesada. Nice to see him put much more effort and passion into this.

So, yeah, Really Brilliant Issue. Really Crazy Stuff. Really Brilliant And Crazy Stuff. Really Interesting Stuff. Things Have Finally Been Answered Abd Things Have Finally Been Fixed. And Really, More Things Are About To Come Their Way.

Also, Really Love The 9/11 Anniversary Story As Well....

Who had this to say…

  • Graham Crackers Comics: Tom Taylor takes another #1 spot with Dark Ages! Keep killing it Tom!!! If you didn't read Dark Ages #1, why are you reading this…go buy it now!
  • Salesfish: This was a busy week for us with our Ultimate Fallout 4 Facsimile exclusive reprint of Marko Djurdjevic's cover. If we include that it would have galloped far past the sales of anything else this week. Batman Fear State Alpha had sales very comparable to a regular issue of Batman since it is the setup for the next several months of stories in Batman's world. Demon Days and Spawn finishing the top 3 was unusual, not because they don't sell well but because they don't usually sell quite that high.
  • Rodman Comics: School started up and this weekend is a three day weekend for most so people will be traveling so sales have slowed a bit. Biggest surprise this week for us was Geiger 6 sold out and sold out quick taking the top spot for us this week. I did get to read it and thought it was the best issue out so far. Batman Fear State Alpha I would have thought would take the top spot though right now it is selling slower than I would have thought it would.

Notable Sales:

  • Sub-Mariner #1 CGC 5.0 $550
  • X-Men #2 CGC 4.0 $1,200

The Bleeding Cool Bestseller List returns next week. If your store would like to be involved, get in touch.
